I fell in love with this song- the same day this was performed just happened to be on my 21st bday as I had just gotten off a 30hr bus ride to my home town to see my family for the first time in 6yrs.
Thank god there is still good music out there. A young fresh band with loads of talent does not happen often. Love these guys and will be watching them and what they do.

I love this song, even though I've definitely been playing guitar longer and I'm probably better than he is. BUT it shows that he really doesn't care what people think about him, because it shows he's not a perfect celebrity like people always think of celebrities. So every little mistake he makes I see as a unique characteristic of his sound. I love (LOVE) CTE.
been listening to CTE for awhile. love their 1st cd. seen vids of their new songs. hope they don't get TOO punk and lose their deep lyrics and musicianship for rawness. anticipating the new release this winter!
@shayto22 his style of vocals is different and in some parts he can sing because he puts his heart and soul into it but on some songs he cannot this one is one fo my favorite songs
@jameskinman Timber Me Shivers, (renamed Right Before My Eyes,) and Rubber Ball are gonna be on their new album "Thank You, Happy Birthday", which comes out on Jan. 11. I don't think "Testify" is gonna be on there though. Unless they changed the name like they did to Timber Me Shivers. :(
Sweet song. I dnt mind tht he isnt the best on guitar, i can hardly judge (not tht i would) i know how hard it is to sing and play guitar at the same time, especially when you have been doing one alot longer than the other. My music proves it. CTE is awesome!!!
@katiesSTARSTRUK try watching the vid close and write down what he plays, it may take a while and dnt be afraid to pause it to look closer. im just starting too, you tend to learn fast. good luck

@katiesSTARSTRUK i would suggest learning it by ear, itll pay off. if you do it enough, eventually youll be able to play a good amount of songs just by hearing the chords
the fact that hes not an incredible guitar player just amplifies the emotion of this performance
