another song recent Ningen Isu song "Battle of the Deities", and the guitar solo is a real standout on it. I have no idea what the name of Ningen Isu's latest album is, but I have listened to it and it is a really good rock album! This 3 piece from Japan have really hit their stride with their last 2 albums and Fuckin' Rock!

Thanks again for another reaction to Ningen isu. One of my favorite performances of theirs is of the song "At the Mountains of Madness". An 11 minute long masterpiece. Like the song A Colour Out of Space it is inspired by an HP Lovecraft story. Well worth a reaction if you have the time.
One of the commenters on your other Ningen Isu reaction mentioned Onmyo-za as another worthy band. I second that. They count Iron Maiden and Judas Priest as big influences, but like many Japanese bands draw from a lot of sources. Their song Akki Hougan is a good straightforward intro to them, if you are so inclined (search UA-cam for "Onmyo-za - Kumikyoku [Yoshitsune] AKKI~ HOUGAN (Live RAIJIN RAIBU)").

That switch to major in the middle section makes the whole song much less cynical, but people are people, eh?
