That being said, starting this year and any years in the future that we beat Clemson... I'm gonna wonder "could we outscore Watson with this team though". Love him as an NFL player but his SR season haunts me man. Like damn.

As a USC fan, Deshaun Watson is one my favorite players who is not a Trojan. Not necessarily because of him as a player. He is a great player no doubt, but I respect him as a person too. I've watched and read about him and his story for a while now. Before it was aired on the Elite 11. During the draft process, people will focus on all the negatives. Not saying that you have to overlook weaknesses, but people will point to certain things and write a player off as a bust. I truly don't believe Watson will be a bust. Of course, it's way too early to tell, but this is what I do know. In a losing effort, Watson put together an incredible performance during the 2016 National Championship Game. He left it all on he field. Coming that close just to lose could destroy a player. Not Watson. He came back the next year and won it all. That speaks volumes about who he is a player and person. If I'm a team that needs a QB, I want Deshaun Watson on my team.

spifeyjunior I don't believe Kessler can ever be considered a bust since there really wasn't any kind of high expectations from him heading into the draft. With that being said, Kessler is by far my least favorite USC QB since JDB. I even prefer JDB over Kessler to be honest.
I think a good idea for a video as a tribute would be Philip Lutzinkerchen for Auburn there arent alot of college highlights of him which alot people would agree he deserves

Deshaun Watson is the best QB in this class by far. Great athlete, nice arm, knows when to scramble, and has the BIG factor. He will play in the big games and that is where he shines. He is a little inconsistent and I don't know whether he will be able to read defenses but that's something you can teach in the NFL. Love Deshaun and if he falls out of the 1st round, would love for the Bears to pick him up but doubt it. 1st round talent

It's absolutely absurd that people are even questioning who the best QB in this draft is WATSON BY A MILLION MILES.... he's a taller Russell Wilson when yu add his intangibles to his talent you have a future top tier NFL qb
I disagree. I don't think he's the best QB in the draft when it comes to actually playing the game. He's got great measurable and intangibles, and should be a first round pick based on what he can become, but he's not the best QB in this draft.
Mcihael they might not play exactly alike but there both very athletic with amazing accuracy on their deep balls that's a excellent trait especially in Watson's case because he's so young.... there are guys who been in the league for years who still can't throw the deep ball accurately and it cripples their production
Pat Etim I live in the Carolina's I watched both of them this season it's honestly not even close Mitch is talented but he's not on DeShaun's level the Alabama game was honestly just icing on the cake
Zakee Jones-Rumph I'm not sure how much of his game translates to the NFL. Like, he's great at looking off a safety and making a great deep throw, but what I don't see is him reading each individual receiver, I see his head turn one direction, but he's not actually reading that side of the field, he's trying to open it up for Cain, or Williams. If he's not throwing a fade, then the side he's looking to will 9.5/10 times be the side the ball is going to. In the NFL, linebackers, corners and safties will be reading his eyes and if he doesn't learn to read one guy, determine he isn't open, then look to the next guy, he's going to be an easy pickings kind of guy for NFL defenders. The reason i think he should be a first round pick is because from what I've heard from he's got fantastic work ethic, is extremely coachable and listens to criticism. I actually really like Kizer and I'm starting to like Mahomes better and better, tbh.
Zakee Jones-Rumph I'll make this simple for you. Watson throws the ball at just 45mph. That's 1st percentile among all NFL quarterbacks and quarterback prospects. His arm is too weak to be an NFL quarterback. Therefore, he's a guaranteed bust in the draft.
Best QB and overall player in Clemson history. I'm sure some of the older Clemson fans would disagree and I think it's up for debate just my opinion. Honorable mentions CJ Spiller, Sammy, Nuk, Vic, Lawson..of the new era. Go Tigs

Clemson fans really forgot about Tajh Boyd. His stats were better than Watson. Boyd had over 11,000 passing yards, 107 tds and 39 ints. Watson had a little over 10,000 with 90 tds and 32 ints. Boyd was the better qb but because Watson led them to a chip the fans say he was the best Clemson qb.

Sure he had 17 Interceptions - but this aganist a really good defensive draft class and a strong schedule... They simply played aganist defenses on higher level - and that is a big advantage if you want to take place in NFL....
My QB draft order:
1 - Watson (Top 5)
2/3 - Webb / Mahomes (Pick 10-20)
4 - Nath Peterman (early 2nd Round - btw. 5 TD against Watsons Clemson!)
5/6- Kaaya/Trubinsky (3rd or 4th round)
I'm sure - this will not happen; but that's my analysis....
College stats don't mean jack in the NFL and isn't a measure of how good a player will be in the pros. Winston is the better player by miles. Don't get me wrong I like Watson, he is very confident like Prescott. However I would bet the last of my testicles that he won't be another Dak next year.
