Thanks for putting the effort in to build this Bricks course. It's fantastic and I for one really appreciate the effort for both myself and the overall community.
Finally! I'm new to Bricks (and WordPress). The tutorials I found so far were dated, which made them confusing because Bricks keeps changing. For example, the Getting Started video in Bricks Academy uses v1.3.3. Your series is timely and helpful. Thanks!
I fkn love you Imran. Just grabbed Bricks cause i'm sick of site speed issues in Elementor. I am building my biggest site ever right now and I know I can get the SEO to 100, I know I can get the sitemap to be amazing, now i'm hoping to be top-notch on the performance. You've been with me all the way and i'm glad you're guiding me through bricks. I love what you do.
Heey Imran you are in the perfect timming to convert in the king of Bricks tutorials👏👏👏 . How about a serie of videos explaining how to create custom user/author backend dashboard with Bricks? That would be (in time) a super hit in youtube stats.
@@websquadron Hey pal i`m afraid i didn't understand correctly your question. I am an elementor expert user but Bricks are just blowing my mind, right now i am saying so long elementor hello bricks XD. Check this out this amazing data attributes inside Bricks from Kevin, YOU ARE GOING TO FALL IN LOVE WITH THIS 😍😍😍 ua-cam.com/video/n5wS7cLiAGg/v-deo.html It will change your mindset of how doing sites. Cheeers mate!
Thanks. I inhereted this builder. I normally use Elementor. I had to change the global h2 setting in bricks and it took me 30 minutes to find it. I think I will still with Elementor.
Super useful tutorial! thank you so much. One question: how can I handle the colour library (similar to Elementor way) when I would like to manage a design system in terms of colours? Is there section/option where I can add a list of colours?
In most UA-cam videos, when a section is chosen the container will show up but in my brand new Bricks setup where nothing is set in the settings there is no container in the section. What do I need to do?
Does Bricks support Adobe Fonts!? You can't download Adobes fonts files so they need to be embedded. I can include them in CSS, but the you can't select them on the go. Am I missing something?

Glad I could help!
Took me a while to notice the gloves. Great content as always!
It was cold that day :)
This is a fantastic series! Your style is clean and clear. Super easy to follow.
Thanks for the contribution

I’m starting to learn Bricks. Thank you for the great tutorial.
Good video Imran 👌 helped me clarify the difference between colour palette and global colours. Cool 👍
your videos have been very helpful thank you
Really looking forward to this series on Bricks. If you would clarify how to set up the var color palette method it would be very, very useful!
I'll add that to the list. Got 18 videos lined up to come out for Bricks :)
9:23 is it better to set global typographies or to apply them through classes?
Applying through classes with a framework is better
@@websquadron thank you!

Thanks I’ll have a think about that. Are you thinking of something more to do with Wordpress than Bricks?

He Is also great to wordpress (Bricks Builder)

So the colour library created in the video is where and how you would manage it. When you change a colour, it will apply it across the website.
Hi, OFF topic, just intrested in the gloves you have on - are these for raynaud's disease?
Not at all :)
It's cold in my Downstairs office room and it saves me putting on the heating :)
Thanks for the reply. I have Raynauds and thought they would be good to try out. If you get time I would like to know where to get these.
@@marketingscarborough From amazon :) Arm warmer gloves.

It should always add the Container
Finally!!!
Daily uploads please. So, we don't wait for 6 months to build the home page
Lots more coming.
Thoughts on Bricks so far? Which one would you rather recommend to newcomers - Elementor or Bricks?
Elementor is a definite safe bet with a great community. If you wanted to go for more advanced capabilities then use Bricks.
Does Bricks support Adobe Fonts!? You can't download Adobes fonts files so they need to be embedded. I can include them in CSS, but the you can't select them on the go. Am I missing something?
Not tried Adobe fonts, so I'll get someone to check.
Compared to Oxygen - so far I find Bricks to be a total hassle - hope it grows on me.
It will.
It takes time, but you'll get there.
We've got enough Tutorials yo help.
can we set font sizes in % like we can in elementor
You can in the typography
Hey Imran, this video seems to be the same as part 1! Shouldn't it be the continuation?
Hi. It is a continuation. Part 1 is just about using the Playground. Part 2 is about the Styles, colours and font settings.
.
What video is considered Bricks 101 Part 1?
Hi
The Playground Video.
Released the day before.
No vertical rythm, chaotic setting, dirty...
Do you mean the way the setting is set?
