Ooh, yeah, I know there’s a bit of a debate going on about who should have won floor here, and I think she should have got it. More difficultly, better landings, good leaps, and a fun routine.
I was there in the audience, and they were definitely rooting for the two Italians here. Gadirova's win was so unexpected, maybe because she came up last? But I'm no expert
You don't reward the complexity, which is questionable concept, you reward expressivity, dance skills, rhythm, fluidity, interpretation..and Martina is not second to anyone..plus..she had definitely the best landing of the final event.
There is no point for gymnast to do the 4th tumbling line right now with this COP system... Because more tumbling pass equal more deduction for them. This is why more gymnast start to do only three tumbling pass like Vanessa Ferari in 2021, Sunisa Lee in AA Final, (and Gadirova obviusly) except they are super duper clean like Listunova. This trend start since Tokyo 2020.
@@Plaspos Yeah I would to add them actually... But in Tokyo, Ferari outscored Biles in QF (But at that time Biles have a breakdown), Andrade (both in QF and EF), and Carey in QF. But you are right also, they are the only gymnast that worth to do 4th pass because they have the difficulty.
@@fortheloveofcats2462 murakami, sure. melnikova i don't think so, that third front layout full pass doesn't seem worth it to me since she rarely sticks it and has legs separated. she used to put a front tuck before her double pike which she should bring back and add another dance element. leanne wong's tumbling is actually several tenths harder than melnikova and also her dance is not as difficult as gelya so maybe leanne instead
@@Plaspos Melnikova gets scored fairly high in the recent competitions, despite all the deductions on her tumbling. She could continue with that routine and get another Olympic medal on floor.
Her last pass gets 3 tenths in deductions but gadirova who counts a C dance element prob only gets one tenth deduction for it which gives her a higher gain in points than Maggio. It also means Gadirova has more time to work on artistry making her take less artistic deductions.
@@tired4748 Martina has great artistry..and she landed last pass with no more than 10 tenths, as she almost sticked it. if you talking about the form in the air ..well..at that point we should check the 2 routines skills by skills..and I'm not convince all around Gadirova had a better execution.
I have an idea..."psychological" subjection towards UK, because they have more "political" weight in Artistic Gymnastic world, to be ahead Italy needs to be far superior to UK, if they are just a tad better, it's not enough.
straordinaria fuoriclasse, la quale con un esercizio come questo avrebbe vinto tranquillamente l'oro mondiale e olimpico, ma haime', a livello mondiale se la deve vedere con le vip, pupille dei giudici iniqui
Her best floor routine! She has difficulty in BOTH dance and tumbling.
I think she should won cause this routine is not only very difficult but more catchy... But congrats to Jessica ❤️

Great tumbling and artistry! I thought she deserved the gold!
Definetely no complex choreography, but still much better landings than gadirova.

Loved the music.🎶🕺🎵
Rock solid landings!

Honestly I think only for biles Carey and Andrade are four tumbling passes worth it since they have the difficulty. Everyone else, why bother.
@@Plaspos add Melnikova and Murakami to your list and it's perfect

She has 4 passes with good landing to 3 non stick landing for Jessica, but still settled for Silver.. can't get my head! Any idea.
Yeah. The judges obvs preferred Gadirova

Good example of an artistic, engaging routine that's not balletic. Her movements command the eye to follow.
I hate when gymnasts roll out of the spin instead of showing control at the end.
