When I was about 12 years old, my friend and I went with her folks to the Durban Drive-in (KwaZulu Natal, South Africa) and they won this LP in a competition. Needless to say, I frequently heard it being played on their radio-gram. It became so familiar to me over the next few years. Then decades went by, I lost touch with my friend and, a few days ago (at the age of 66), I decided to look for it on U-Tube. There it was! I am overjoyed to be able to hear it again. What precious memories it brings back of family and friends. Thank you so much for posting this. It means so much to us!
This, Herb Alpert, the Baja Marimba Band and other like music was perpetually playing as background music at the Lucky supermarket mom used to shop at in Redondo Beach, California circa early 1970s. Very evocative of a time and place.
