"A guy told me one time, "Don't let yourself get attached to anything you are not willing to walk out on in 30 seconds flat if you feel the heat around the corner." Now, if you're on me and you gotta move when I move, how do you expect to keep a... a marriage?"
I'll always be a 1980s movie guy, due to being born in 75 and growing up with the 80s classics ... but the 1990's were when movies became insanely COOL for a few years. Tarantino was starting to do his thing, while across the pond we had Trainspotting and the emergence of a special generation of young actors. Slap bang in the middle of it all was HEAT ... a movie that rises far beyond just the tale of cops and robbers ... it reaches almost mythical status, thanks to the truly epic cast and the unique score.
I agree. 90s for movies & music was one of the most interesting & exciting times. There was so much variety & everything felt groundbreaking one way or another. A beautiful time. Maybe the last truly great times.
Thank you for making these. I know some might find this weird... but these videos capture moments I dont ever want to forget. It helps me be me. Helps me be happy. Thank you
"It is what it is. It's that or we both better go do something else, pal." "I don't know how to do anything else..." "Neither do I." "...I don't much want to either." "Neither do I."
screaming at people trying to tell them that we are headed over the cliff but they don't listen welcome to my world a world of knowing but being unable to communicate it effectively
