I bought this ceiling fan in 1998 and to this day the fan is working just fine. Back in those days, this model was called Orient PSPO.

Ek baat to confirm hai. Orient mei pehle jaisi baat nahi rahi. Company winding halki karti ja rhi hai. Same ceiling fan old model mei Oil Capacitor aata tha 2.25 mfd ka. Ab ye log 16 +16 pole stator winding hone ke baawjood maatra 2.0 mfd ka capacitor de rahe hai wo bhi paper wala. Company ne bohot zyada cost cutting ki hai. Really disappointed. 12+12 pole ya 14+14 pole mei karte to samajh bhi aata. Heavy stator models mei nhi karna chahiye.

@@ElectroExpert Thank you Sir. Sach mei aajkal to capacitor change karna bhari kaam ho gya hai. 2.5mfd ka bhi nhi daal sakte aajkal agar 2.0 , 1.70, ya 1.85 mfd ka nikalta hai to. 4.0 mfd ke 2 capacitor series mei dalne padte hain.

Orient products कभी मत लेना भाईयो होम सर्विस के नाम पर धोख़ा देते है orient फैन मेरा दोस्त लिया है लगभग 1 महीने से सर्विस सेंटर पर काल कर रहे है कल बन जायेगा परसो बन जायेगा पर आज तक बना नही और अब बोलते है नही बनेगा जबकि वारंटी 2 साल की है अभी एक साल भी पुरा नही हुआ है
