Hallo Ronny, danke für dein Lob. Ja, die Tiere haben sich prächtig entwickelt. Unterschied: Rio Atabapo F1 NZ haben einen etwas höheren Körperbau und auch längere Flossen. Von der Farbgebung sind beide Varianten ziemlich identisch, auch im Verhalten sind sie gleich. Sie zeigen ein ruhiges Schwarmverhalten und sind sehr zutraulich und fressen gierig alles an Frostfutter und Trockenfutter, was man ihnen anbietet. Das ist der Vorteil gegenüber von WF. Hi Daniel, I've watched most of your videos on Altums, as I have recently bought 14 young specimens. The man at the shop was very knowledgeable and told me that they were wild caught from the Rio Inirida. I've had them for 3 months now, and they are doing very well, and growing quickly. I'm not intending to breed them (especialy as you've pointed out how difficult it is!), and just want them as a beautiful showpiece in my lounge. What I wanted to know is, what other species of fish would have lived with them in the Inirida (same biotope)? As I'd like to add a small shoal of another species, maybe a tetra or something. I've tried researching with little success! Great work by the way, and a wonderful inspiration! Thanks jack

Hallo Simon, ja das ist schon ein wesentlicher Vorteil das die Tiere beim Futter nicht mehr sooo wählerisch sind.Die Nachzuchten sind wirklich schön geworden und ich hoffe mal in Zukunft deine Anlage mal bestaunen zu können.Hab ja bei Jochen die Farbgebung in der Kopfregion schon bewundern dürfen,traumhaft!!!Viel Erfolg wünsch ich dir weiterhin bei der Vermehrung dieser außerordentlich schönen Skalare. Hi Simon, and thanks for the email. I see they are doing very well... what age are they right now? My group is now a year and about half are the size of yours, but the rest vary in size considerably. It is wonderful to see a that your pack has such uniform size and are all so lovely developed. Regards Ed
