Showing only the Prototype's shadow was a really smart move. We get a true taste of what they are without showing too much. The Prorotype's full body reveal is gonna be awesome with how much Mob is hyping it.
While the reveal at the end wasn't surprising, it was nonetheless spine-chilling. The way the Prototype constantly shifts voices and tones and sounds so broken that it makes it so much more terrifying.
Not only that but also it's hard to trust people when prototype can mimic different types of voices with he's multiple voice boxes or voice replication device attached to he's body
I'm just scared prototype is going to be a letdown when fully revealed. Like at this rate I'm going to be disappointed if he's not wearing a skin suit made of the employees or all the toys that compose him are fully conscious.
I think anybody who played Bioshock immediately was suspicious that Ollie was the prototype. (And sadly it is one of those moments where the player wishes they were wrong about suspecting such a thing)
It also reminds me of baby and ennard from sister location She hides her evilness behind a soft spoken and inviting voice which could easily deceive an unassuming person
I have a theory. The prototype really is Ollie. Or he was Ollie a long time ago. Any other time the prototype has spoken, the sentences have been spliced fragments of what others have said. But he seems to have the most “material” to work with from Ollie. This is because it was his own voice at one time. There is a tape where Ollie comforts Poppy and Poppy vents about how scared she is and how much pain she is in. It is clear he was a trusted confidante of her for years. I think he staged the hour of joy for her, rather than the other toys. He claims that everything has always been about the two of them. In the midst of him being experimented on, I think the two of them kept each other sane, making Ollie obsessed with her. He clearly has no regard for the other toys, as he turned them against each other for years and tortured them without remorse. The toys were a means to an end, guardians to prevent intruders from stumbling on his own experiments. In a video between him and doctor sawyer, he is working on something that requires the doctor’s specific expertise, why else would he spare the man that tortured him for years. One line in the tape stood out to me. The doctor told him they were “banging their heads against that problem while the lab was still fully functional.” Tell me, why else would scientists work on transferring consciousness from one body to another, unless they were trying to conquer death itself by creating new bodies to inhabit? I think he is working on creating human-like bodies to live in. But not regular ones, perfect immortal bodies that don’t require food or rest. In that very same video, the prototype claims he is running out of time. Why? Unlike all the others, he does not require food to live, so why is he worried about time? I think he is running out of resources. Such experiments would be impossible to conduct without test subjects and there are only so many orphans he has available. This franchise is clearly not afraid to go as dark as possible. He is willing to sacrifice everything in the name of Poppy

You know the Protoype is very smart, according to information Doey fought off the Protoype before and going with what Doey is he was the biggest threat to the Protoype. So he played everyone like a fool and most likely knew about Doey's condition and how he was made so to remove him caused him to go insane and attack the player. Who killed him, removing the last thing that was a threat and standing between IT and Poppy, Kissy, and the Player.
If this is the case, that would mean that the Prototype was only pretending to be a huge threat. He only pretended to "do his hardest to try and break in" in order to leave the resistance paranoid and scared. So he uses the main character as an advantage. He heard about their feats and realized that the player would be enough to get rid of Doey, or just have them both kill each other in the process.

Not only that look how strong Doey is when you crush him under that drill he held it up even stop the drill from moving for a few minutes. It clear that in a one on one fight Doey has a high chance of winning. Not only that Doey was most likely immune to also Catnap red smoke since begin what Doey is does not breath. Meaning that the Protoype one ace in the hole and heavy fighter would also not hold it on in a fight. So if brute force want work then put them against each other for this point the player has shown to be a huge threat. Took on Huggy, killed mommy long legs and brought down Catnap he or she was prefect for taking out Doey.
I don’t get why he helped us from the start. Why he killed catnap even though he could have just kill us anytime. What do you guys think he’s planning.

How I see is the Protoype found the perfect tool to carry out it plans and to tie up lose ends. As for killing CatNap at one time the Protoype and the other Bigger Bodies did care and even had deep empathy for the smaller toys and going by the lore the Orphans that survived the hour of joy. The song Sleep Well shows this even further but within that 10 years everything broke down among the Bigger Bodies. Whatever empathy or even sanity they had was gone-10 years of starving, 10 years in a crumbling factor, 10 years with nothing by themselves, 10 years of nothing changing when they killed everyone. The Hour of Joy gave them freedom, yes but as Poppy pointed out, how many of those hundreds of people deserved to die? How many of them were just people visiting, maybe with there children, and either under control of the Protoype or of there own free will killed them all? Imagine living with that for some of the Bigger Bodies? Yes a lot of people are going to die but to them, this was the only way to be free but then reality set in. And that was the fact they had no place in the outside world, not the natural world or humanity world. They killed people who did nothing towards then did not even know they existed and it changed nothing. All it did was cut off there food supply for once the bodies ran out or were cut off out of desperation, they started to eat each other. And nothing changed... That is the sad reaility of it at one time they did care about each other and the childern that live there... But in the end... They lost everything.
I think the twist will be that the Prototype will be a prototype not of Poppy but rather of a Grabpack and talks with a text to speech device. And moves around using another toy or some sort of body its made for itself.

The claws seem like his weapons but maybe hes taken and incorporated the bodies of the others and found how to weaponize them. Prototype gives the vibes of an evil Megaman and fighting him will basically be a boss rush.
But like, where would he go? He has to know that outside is filled with police, swat, army, marines, etc that would do him like a hot dog left in the microwave far past its heating point. I doubt hes tough enough to handle armor piercing shells, grenades, rocket launchers, or fleece Johnson Buddy would step outside just to get smoked
