Here in US you have to go to pre-medical school after high school (4years), then apply to medical school (MD program, 4years, you need MCAT not SAT for that), after this you have 2-5 years of residency. Then if you want to do speciality like cardio or neuro or whatever it take further 2-3 years (fellowships, speciality) . Students have to take usmle step 1 in second year and you cant sit in your third year without passing step 1. Medical school expenses are near about 350k for citizens and if you are international students then you have to pay international tuitions fees. Let me inform you that there are no scholarships in MD programs and even if their are any they are usually for US citizens only. Once you are a resident you get payed like 45K-60k per annum depending upon where you get your residency. All the best to future doctors and nurses who wants to come to US. Everything is possible. Chase your dream if it is your passion. Last but not the least become doctors for right reasons and not just to make money.
after m.d programme do international students have to give usmle for residency
@@RayyanSaboor intrinsic motivation. Doing it to help others, your family, your dreams, if its your passion, etc. Basically the reasons that will not falter much even in the face of hardship.

Thankyou dr.manik for making this video ❤️,I have been asking your thrice to clear how a fmg's can clear USMLE, a pathway to USMLE basically, and here is the video, thankyou so much ❤️
Great video thanks a lot🤩 please could you do a video on step by step residency application after usmle?🙏🏽
Thanku so much bro...this helped us ❤️❤️❤️
Hi manik, how's is the fee's like for national students such as us citizens 🤔 .looking forward .
This video helped me a lot. Hoping you would do an explained video for FMGs (Russian Ukrainian students) Pathway to USMLE.
Would you please explain that how IMGs studying in Russia/Armenia only eligible for pathway 6? There’re certainly pathways 2,3,4,5 applicable to them if they aren’t fully licensed.
Thank you so much for the information. It really helped. One thing I wanna know from you is which pathway you think is better and efficient and cheaper. I mean if you do mbbs over here in india so we don't have to do MD is usa right? So going to pre-med and md in usa is better does it give extra-edge to us or doing mbbs from india and then usmle better? Which one do you suggest?
Helo sir, thank you for your valuable info
Can you still give a detail description about pathway -2 on how to approach USMLE being a international medical student..thank you
hello Bhai, thanks for making the video, keep making videos like this :)
Thanku for the information bhaiya
Nice video 😊.
Is it mandatory to complete electives in final year of MBBS itself? Or can be done even after completion of internship in India?
Please make a video about the research opportunities available in india and also does the college from where you do your MBBS matter or not ( like for example do students from AIIMS have an advantage when it comes to matching into surgical specialties )
I'm an international student in Georgia and the ECFMG website says that my university is pathway 3 (and not 6). what are the requirements in this case ?
Very good and useful info. I have a question : Can a person with one hand study medicine in the USA and practice legally? My daughter recently lost her right hand ( amputated - transhumeral) in an accident.
hey manik i have question that if someones passes all 3 steps and still doesnt get matched
do they have to give all the steps again or do they have to work on their cv a little more to get matched ?
Hi
I am a med student in Dubai and I was wondering the second pathway you talked about is it only for Russia or Armenia or it includes other countries as well like UAE?
What are the 6 pathway for international medschool?
Hello, please make a video on how to become a doctor in the US after doing your PG from India, and also can someone write all the three USMLE steps from their own country and still become a doctor in the US or will have to do residency again compulsorily even after having a PG degree from National medical college and passing all the 3 steps?
Thank you doctor.
Make a video on full information about residency!!
Can you please explain your journey after your ug from india to the usmle journey....about the visas, accommodation, n stuff?

Hi. Can we go for CLINICAL ROTATION after giving STEP 2.
Thank you so much Dr
STAY in your OWN COUNTRY. We DON'T want you. We have plenty of our OWN Medical students that need to get residency.
Hello Dr Manik
I am a fresh graduate, currently doing house job in pakistan (I’ve done it half upto now i-e 6 months). I want to go for plab/usmle. I am so stressed that i made this decision so late and so confused that which pathway should i go for. I myself want to go for USMLE but some of my colleagues say that i am a bit late for that, it’s time taking pathway and I should rather go for plab.
Please give your neutral suggestion that which pathway i should go for? Cause you can’t go for both at one time right? Is there any such thing as usmle to uk route too?
Please please give your suggestion.
Thank you.
Didn't get the no internship requirement point for the foreign medical graduates..could you please elaborate a bit??

Manik have been watching your videos for a while. Can you guide me of a better route, I am in last year of my surgical training (Residency at home town) and have to move to US as my family is moving there. I understand to appear in steps. Is there a way I can skip residency, keeping in mind to do fellowship from there and then do training? Its really hard to go through 5 years of residency training again there. Would appreciate your input
Can we check usa medical registration like in India all medical students have specific medical registration no
Could you talk about the pathway for those who are currently studying mbbs in the uk.

Hi Manik. Did u go for any coaching with any institute for USMLE step exam or did u prepare on your own.

U have Nice content and congratulations for getting there!!!!
So , can i apply for USMLE after MBBS from India or I have to get MD or MS Degree from India for USMLE eligibility 😢
Is it possible to score high for step1 with primarily doing questions from uworld and Rx only and studying the nbmes. Excluding studying from first aid and video lecture series
Dr. Manik, how much of a factor does medical school prestige play for us FMGs looking to apply to US residency programs with step1 becoming pass fail?
@@manikmadaan is it enough of a factor to make go to a more expensive one if I want to get into a competitive residency?
Please make a video on how to become a Doctor in the UK with steps please!!
if a Foreigner do mbbs in russia and want to do specialization in America than what will be the procedure for specialization? usmle is necessary before specialization??

I am new subscriber sir
can i get into med school directly {in the 3rd pathway) without entering into pre med , sine i have completed my bachelors in india .
Do you need to clear neet and write sat and then go abroad for your studies???
And one thing more is that like here in india first you have to do mbbs and then pg for specialization right. So how does this process works there? What I mean is what do we have to do to become surgeon over there?
thank you , can I have my USMLE PART 1 without OET OR ILETS EXAM ?
Do a videos about Research opportunities in the US
Without usmle, is it possible to enter to us after finishing DM Or mch from India?
272 is great score !!! Woah...
Will Indian imgs studying abroad if gets into usa residency matched after usmle step 2, get license in India without fmge
Can anyone do md in ayu there after completing bams from india
He said join Russia and Armenia. But instead you should join country which follows USA med curriculum. Like philippines. Best part research is included in med school itself. So you don't have to do research when you doing residency in USA.
What's the process to be a lecturer in USA medical school??
Hi sir !
Can you tell more about ECFMG pathway 6
Hello sir ..I want to know if there is any way to get md in usa directly fter being a bsc medical microbiology graduate in india? .Hoping for a good response
Manik, after pre-med and MCAT , when you fill for MD are you IMG/ FMG or at par with US residents? Same done with MD there , after USMLE for surgery are you IMG/ FMG. What I have understood after exhaustive research for any spot for MD and after that for Surgery your status for IMG doesn’t change till you get green card. If any clarity please update. Second is for you , if you go after USMLE step 3, you will be on H-1B and then green card by end of residency or 2-3 years. Whereas if you go after Part 2 only, visa is J-1, 5-7 years later H-1B and so on...
You are amg(American medical graduate)after the mcat pathway, so you are par with them,
Great video 😊.....sir, any medical student from India , from any medical College either government or private medical colleges can crack usmle exams?
How to be a consultant in USA , after completing residency years which tests need to be passed to become a consultant there?
Is it possible to get ecfmg certified, being 1st year med school student?

Hi sir can you give information about PA program in USA for indians
Thank you Manik for your detailed videos related to USMLE. Please tell me who teach pre/para clinical subjects like physiology/ pharmacology in US medical schools? Do the teachers also need to take USMLE to be able to take teaching jobs in US med schools? What are the options available in USA after doing MD in India without USMLE path? Please make a short video if possible addressing the same. Thanks and all the best.

Giving step 1 and 2 during med school years,is it risk to do..?? Is there any sort of trials or like mocks before attempting and I have heard in one of you videos that giving usmle exams delay like in 1.5\2 years is a minus point like we get some kind of red flag.... So does that affect our usmle exams giving during med school years.
Step 3 prep guide
nice video bro👋.........but , mbbs keliye china se ellava koi ore countries try karna chahiye...........because just look at here in india- [more than 20 thousand medical students are struck out here]- [***NO ONE IS EVEN THINKING ABOUT THOSE MEDICAL STUDENTS FUTURE ] SADLY😥🙄 - IN THE MEAN WHILE MANY COUNTRIES HAD OPENED THE DOOR TO STUDENTS RECENTLY U CAN SEE........... so i have a doubt #manik broo.....is this will impact those students in their matching / residency process....????kindly do reply✌
I think for USA students after second year they have to write step 1 compulsory to go into third year. The students takes lot of tension because the marks of step 1 counts and hence to ease it now the same has been changed to pass fail method from 2022.
@@channel12788 no. Yes you can give nbmes. So if you delay it by more than 3 years it’s bad. Otherwise it’s not a big deal
