I’ve been bleaching my own hair for years with wella blondor. Because it’s not always easy to have access to salon products, it’s nice to know the alternative is nearly as effective in quality and results. Thank you!
iam glad that your for the people and dont care of making money from the big corp in the future , alot of ppl are sellouts its a shame they start off humble and for the ppl but then get popular and get brand offers and change and become fake its like if your a review channel and education and your fake your channel has no meaning , so thanks for keep it real
Totally agree that the blue pigment in lighteners is just there for decoration. It does not actually deposit any tone. It's usually the same ultramarine powder found in makeup, so it makes sense why it wouldn't stay in the hair.
Thanks for making this video! I just moved to north Texas where there is no CosmoProf! 😩All I could find was a Sally’s. So I bought this Generic and was scared to use it. You have answered all my concerns! 🙏🏻
Blondor is always my go to for level 6 and below or any coarse hair. I find Blondor by itself too gritty, so I mix 2 parts Blondor with 1 part of their Soft Blonde Crème mixed 1:1.5 w developer and it’s a creamy but thick like a Wendy’s frosty. Plus the oil in the crème bleach keeps it from drying out so it keeps working. I use Blondorplex too, but I still found my OG Blondor mix was strong enough even for level 2 coarse hair if I took thin enough sections.
Sally Beauty Holdings is the parent company for Cosmoprof and ive actually noticed quite a few dupes or just outright same exact formulas. I'd be very curious to see you compare Generics Demi Line that's meant to copy Shades Eq and the Wella color touch/Illumina compared to Wella products at Sallys.
Yeah and the prices aren't that different if you compare stylists wholesale cost and Sally's retail it's just the availability to the customer is oftne limited for the legacy brands.
@@NatashaEstrada yeah I'm mostly interested because I am not a professional so they won't let me access Cosmoprof. I feel like stylists wouldn't get as many nasty color corrections if they expanded a range of demi permanent dyes for non professionals
I’m curious if the lift would be better with swatches that are more sheer? Typically, when highlighting I keep my slices sheer enough to “see through” and I feel as though I’ve gotten more lift from these lighteners. I appreciate you taking the time to record these videos! I love all your work!!!
I switch between Blondor and Blondeme, i find the Blonder swells quite significantly which means i try yo avoid using it for foiled highlights, its ok for balyage, it also has a gritty type texture so it even if i spend ages mixing i cant get rid of it completely, I prefer Blondme by far.
I agree. But I also think blonde me swells quite a bit as well. There was a grit to wella as I washed it out as well. I think with all blue power lifting lighteners they unfortunately swell regardless. Some more than others.
Thank you dear Mirella, what I experienced is the swell factor depends a öot on the Developer. Therefore I do not like Schwarzkopf developer. In terms of the blue color in the powder in makes a difference at least for my experience with Goldwell bleach. If I did not leave it on long enough so at least 50 MInutes the blond hair had a strong blue hue in it.

I appreciate that. I’m hoping the support from the viewers outweighs the risk I’m putting out there 🙏🏽
I don't see any issues with these tests, they are purely educational! Also, Sally's might not have Blondor, but they do carry some Wella products!

No Cosmoprof? There’s gotta be something that’s for pros up there!? 😳 regardless I’m glad this video helped you.
In Texas the pro stores are RDA and Armstrong Mcalls.

👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼surprised by the results for sure.

Probably the same caliber of cosmetic chemists creating the formulation.

Developer is definitely a factor. I personally haven’t found a blue lightener that actually cools the hair but I do work on dark canvases
@@MirellaManelli so try the Goldwell Silk lift control ASH 😘
Which hair swatches are you using for testing, please? Great video as always 👏
Thankyou so much I leren from you ❤
I'm so glad! Thank you for watching💖
I've never really been a fan of Blondor... always felt like there was too much breakage
