I am SO fascinated by the effects of resin’s exothermic reaction on different combinations of pigments! I will be doing this for a while as there are many, many different combinations of pigments, types of pigments, colors of pigments. There are so many “Flowers"🌺 to be created. Yippee.
This technique is NOT an exact science. You have to see how YOUR brands of resin and pigments work in the basic framework of the technique.
Resin used in this video - Art Pro by Resin Pro. This is a 3:2 resin
Inks used: Holbein Acrylic Ink- Phthalo Green, Primary Cyan, Diaxazine Violet
White: Bloom pigment paste
Mold- Small ICE Live Edge Coaster Mold by Julie Cutts found in her eBay store Pouring Your Heart Out. Link below-

Hi Kim first that it's beautiful! I'm so glad you were able to keep trying and get such a wonderful outcome. I have a quick question. Do you have to use acrylic inks to make the fairy flower? I'm new at resin and don't have all the special inks and dyes. Thanks.
Hi Patty, I believe Acrylic Inks work best for the Fairy Flower. It’s a technical process and the resin has to be a 3:2. The best way to learn is to take the course from ResinCourses.com and then try, try, try!
