I bought it the minute it was online. So excited.
Just bought mine. Love my RM2 and can´t wait to get my RM pro.
I ordered today. Already own Boox devices (2 in "color"). Looking forward to true color, meaning colored ink, not true color depth of course. This is my first reMarkable device.

I have used my RM2 for 2 years, and ordered the Pro also! Can’t wait to receive the Pro asap!
After a few more reviews I decided to go ahead and get one… I have the Remarkable 2 and have really loved it with a few things that I wish were a little better. For instance I wish I could cut and paste content from a pdf. It’s great for notes, but I write a lot of papers and need to cite works. It doesn’t make this easy. My biggest wins for the Pro will be the backlight for reading at night, the larger size and the color. I really want to see some better ways to import my text into Word for formatting. There are challenges… I can’t easily use it for writing papers, but it’s great for notes and highlighting of book content. For future I would like to see some AI integration, reading pdfs, summaries, some ways to interact with the text, etc. Given the way Remarkable 2 upgrades and supported new features, I expect a lot more to come with the Pro as people buy into it.

I don’t a bright screen, or bigger one or heavier. The nicest thing of remarkable 2 is the simplicity.
true. i just want to take notes. thats it. rockin rm2 still and luv it. no keyboard or other fancy stuff - just pen and "paper" = write
RM2 user here. I ordered it within 30 min once i seen it was a color. 5-16 days as well. Im concerned that I'm to excited to get a color notebook experience and get disappointed. But that's why i love remarkable i can demo it within 100 days and return it if it's not a good fit for me. That's why i haven't tried supernote since i can't test it to see if it's a good fit.
I gave up on the reMarkable and returned mine back in the day. The pay wall and a few other things made me feel like I made the right choice. HOWEVER, the bigger form factor plus colour plus the light has me looking their way again. I just wish I could have my libby app to read books on it. Either way, I just may have to dive back in to reMarkable land as the 13" Supernote feels like it isn't coming any day soon.
Yes I will get mine and can do a deep review - MY DEEP GUIDE VOYA got hands on and is impressed that means a lot to me. Also seems like the new CEO is trying to create a new culture. They are much more open now.

@morningcoach I’m so happy that i found your channel. 😊I’m an iPad Pro user but wanted something separate for patient notes and focused digital note taking. I ordered a paper pro but don’t love the delivery timeframe 9-21 business days. I’m looking forward to checking out your website and remarkable planner. Great engaging video 😊
I confess I ordered within an hour of the announcement. While the new, larger, color display looks promising, I probably would have bought a new reMarkable on the basis of the frontlight alone; that is my most missed feature lacking in the rM2. So many times I have found myself wishing I could use it where there was not quite enough light.
There is another feature I have been waiting for too; it is important news which has received little fanfare (in the UA-cam videos I have seen, only Brndon Boswell has even mentioned it). The new device now features data encryption at rest. This is huge. It makes the Paper Pro an option for many individuals to use in highly regulated industries where such data protection is mandatory.
I broke down and ordered one! I trust I won't return it. Hearing about all of the engineering sealed the deal. I look forward to exploring the device the same time as you.

I think that’s a good call. You don’t need the fancy shiny object. ReMarkable two is a great device.

I had RM2 and used it for a long time. then I fed-up waiting for the color version. so, I bought Boox NA3 color and I'm happy with it. I'm sure this new RM version is going to sell well. good luck.

I have had my remarkable 2 since the release date in 2020. I have been using it the military and every college class. It had been reliable and a new shiny object would be nice but unnecessary.

I had to send back my remarkable 2 because they didn't support a few special characters i needed to studying password protected PDFs. ( I even contacted their support and they just said there was nothing they could do besides put in to their Dev team) I really enjoyed using the device but not enough to keep it for its original purchase. I'm looking forward to your review and may try it again as color would be a big game changer for me and i can use it for other uses instead of just studying PDF's. (although tempted to just order and try the 100 day "try it" period)

Crazy right - force you to use it LOL I do that with running shoes I spend too much on them so I feel guilty so I have to use them. Keep me posted on delivery.

It is the press release been doing it forever we have a lot of reMarkable fans - going back 4 years report all the news and it was sent to me by reMarkable. If you look back at the channel, we actually did shipping reports for the reMarkable 2. Thanks for asking but just reporting what is sent to me, and going over the press release. :)
