HI everyone! Thanks for coming by and checking out my video reactions! I hope you enjoy them.
G'day, 1st. again. Aussies love a good prank. The best ones are the ones that seem most believable. Sometimes it takes total commitment to pull it over the victum.
Come in spinner.....😂😂😂😂😂
While he is saying this she doesn't question why nobody else has protective gear.
So funny that they used a koala instead of a real drop bear! For us locals it's pretty obvious that there's no way their liability insurance would've covered them just handing a drop bear to an untrained reporter like that! 🤣
😂😅🤣😜
G'day, The fun part is when you varify something that they think is make believe. After that they have no idea what could be BS
I love this, its irresponsible to tell tourist these arent real. It's the Aussie tourist bureau pushing this lie, as to not scare the tourist off, we must warn them, particularly the WA variant
@@Eskay1206 😂😅🤣
She was such a good sport! 😂 Bless her.
You definitely get a comment & like for watching that one. They did a brilliant job and I guess she now knows what motocross gear is.
She didn't comprehend that the guy who handed her the Koala/ didn't have a scrap of protection on. :)
Excellent 😂
I’m from New Zealand, and we know to well about Australian humour, it’s close to our own so I got a great laugh from this, thank you for posting!
Yeah I love the Kiwi sense of humour too.
What visitors to Oz complain about is that someone will tell them something that they're suspicious might be a tall story, so they'll check with someone else who will run with the story, and so on. They reckon it's a conspiracy 😂
We love you, cousins. I grew up on footrot flats and splitenz.
@@ozkaz13 ❤ Love ya back, mate! Have you checked out Mike’s reactions to Split Enz yet?
I'm an Aussie, born and bred, and nobody told me about drop bears. I only found out about them on a video clip. I was horrified and I ran to my teenage children to tell them about it, and they were rolling around the floor laughing their heads off. I must've been the only Aussie to not know about them. It got me good, I'm ashamed to say...
❤😂 Onya, Jojo!! ❤🇦🇺👍
@turdferguson400 being the last to know anything, is the story of my life...😄
@@Jojomac-ix7oi I know what you mean!!! 😂❤
It's almost evil the way Aussies prank people🤣🤣😂😂
But not quite! We mean well really!
We love it!
Years ago, back in the day when I was in the Army (Aussie) we were training with the Yank Marines. We were out bush at night telling them about drop bears. Night time out in the Aussie bush obviously added to the scare factor and had these guy's looking over their shoulders with faces as white as snow. Bloody hilarious pranking these guys! No thing like a great prank.
😂❤ Did they laugh about it afterwards? 😅
@@turdferguson400 They were sh*tting themselves by that stage. Looking out into the bush at night scared of the things lerking out there lol. Snakes, spiders, yowie's. Most foreigners are already scared before they even get here. We certainly had a great laugh. Nah they were good guy's about it. The level Aussie's will go to set up a prank (evidenced by the vid) is unlimited.
This is the most Aussie thing EVER, we are bastards, but we're fun 🤣
I agree. We can be utter bastards in pursuit of “winding up” foreigners. Good fun. Greetings from Australia.
😂😅❤ ONYA DAVO!!! Classic Aussie humour. The guy giving the explanation made it so believable, she must’ve been shitting herself. And the little koala’s innocent face! ❤🐨BRILLIANT!!! 😂🇦🇺👍
You think she would be used to violent animals in Scotland. When I was there I was warned to be careful about roaming the highlands - because of the danger posed by the wild, untamed haggis up there? 😏
😂😅 OH NO! Not the Wild Highlands-Roaming Haggis!!!! 😮😳😂😅🤣
@@turdferguson400 Yes, apparently you know they are near because you hear a horrific sound akin to a thousand cicardas. 😁
not to forget the way the Glaswegians show affection with a glasgow kiss.
There's even a song about them! 😂❤
Brilliant, seen it a few times and it still makes be smile
Haha awesome 😂😂, good one Davo 😂😂
Drop bears are real! So are Yowies.
They're tame compared to the bunyips
@@GarnetDart 😂😅🤣👍
That was priceless lol We love taking 'The Micky' we do it so well Thanks Mike...
Glad you enjoyed it
Do u know what it's like to have my name in Oz (Mikki)... everyone takes me out of everyone! LOL
@@TheDivineMissMikki 😂❤😅👍
I just drove the whole East Coast last month and not a drop bear to be seen...plenty of toy ones in the tourist shops though...i swear, one day i will see one. I can't believe they didn't give that lady a "drop bear survival helmet"? That koala is more stoned than i get on weekends. Good on her. lol
I’m normally over the drop bear joke. I’ve been hearing it for over 40 years and think it is a tired, unfunny joke. Maybe it’s because my friend in high school used to say it all the time and think he was hilarious. He wasn’t. But this one is gold. Mainly because of their delivery and making her think she was actually holding one. And also because this was on Kangaroo Island after the devastating bushfires of 2020 burnt over 50% of the island and killed 80% of the koala population. Kudos to them for still having a sense of humour.
While we do like a good prank, there is one thing that needs to be said.
That Koala is use to people. Koala's can turn into nasty little bugga's. Those claws are very sharp and can do a lot of damage. You should never approach a Koala thinking it won't hurt you. I know there are video's showing people giving them water on hot days or even after a bush fire has destroyed the Koala's home.
These are wild animals and can be very aggressive. The term Drop Bear is for the occasional nasty Koala. I live in Adelaide and the hospital near me (Flinders Medical) has a large population of Koala's which hang around there. You only have to look up and you will see them. Those Koala's see people every day. Sometimes they will interact with people mostly for the good, but there have been times where people have been bitten and clawed.
Son of Buck, search for the original advertisement that started the whole drop bear nonsense. “Bundaberg Rum, drop bears.” This advertisement became folklore in Oz. They used a polar bear in the ad, but we changed it to a koala. Really funny stuff. Cheers mate.🐨🇦🇺
G'Day to you, Ah yes the Dreaded Drop Bear, I my self have warned many a Tourist about these Little Buggers! Armadale West Aust.
This was recorded when we had bad bush fires. We got hit hard by them. To see this type of typical aussie behaviour in those dark times is lovely. Did you notice the little joey hopping around? Glad you enjoyed this :)
Thanks Mike I thought you would get a laugh out of that one. She was a great sport I love the way that she tried to maintain her professionalism even though she was absolutely terrified. She was covering the devastating Kangaroo Island bushfires for a UK network . Just shows how Aussies can keep their sense of humour even in the most trying of times and it seems so can the Scots. We visited Kangaroo Island a few months after those fires and most of it was just charred wasteland fortunately for the wildlife signs of green had already started to reappear. I remember them asking people to still come to Kangaroo island to support the local economy the last thing they needed after those fires was for people to avoid the place. We jumped in the car and drove 1700km (1000miles) down there from Newcastle and stayed on the island for a week before driving back home.
❤ Good on you, mate! ❤️🇦🇺👍
Brilliant idea to tell you at the start that it's a prank NOT! They are REAL!!
This was funny for sure, but I'm like your Mrs., if I went to a foreign country and they did this too me, I'd laugh my ass off, but there would be many F bombs dropped also. 'Drop Bears' continues to be a joke here, I think it always will. ✌❤
Good morning 🥰
Good morning!
HA HA HA
No one can be that stupid to believe that you have to wear all that gear
😂😅 All evidence to the contrary… 🤣
Unity of the prank.. all those people and not ONE broke, if they came close they ran.
Lol 😂🤭.
