    Hi John,
I have been following you for about 4 years now. You have been a true inspiration to me. I own and operate an HVAC company here in Conroe TX and have been in the HVAC industry for more that 35 years. I was over 400 pounds a couple years ago and ended up having surgery. This has definitely been a life changing experience. I seen your video the other day about your weight loss. Very impressive results. I just wanted to let you know to keep up the good work.

Hi John, appreciated your live stream today. It answered some questions, but I did not buy into the crap, because I could see your integrity in videos on how you deal with jobs, customers, church, family, etc. Pray you have peace, and keep enjoying life, and kudos on self improvement. I also think it’s great how you support family, and your wife helps in the business. You got it going good.

I’m happy to have gas for heat. When I had a heat pump, always switched to emergency heat when cold. Straight cool only now on compressor. The greenies here want heat pumps.

I'm in Florida so we use mainly heat strips for any days below 90* :) Down here you learn how expensive they are to run. We have those radiant oil electric heaters. Those are really nice for the few days a year it gets chilly and very inexpensive to run. They really will warm a room up for us. I have a mini split in the garage that is also a heat pump but never used it in HP mode.

It’s similar out here in Southern California, people get up and arms about heat pumps primarily due to the electricity bill in the winter. Also we have plenty of Natural Gas available to homes and nothing warms up like a good ol furnace

Let’s face it the old style heat pumps sucked, but now with these variable speed systems heat pumps are the way to go, plus nothing beats a gas furnace so I get the bad rep for heat pumps but in 2023 the work good on the gulf coast

If the customer don't trust your knowledge John ,walk away, that's what I do. A heat pump in that state is more than enough.does the contractors in that area even know how to do load calculations ,latent and sensible curves on the psyc chart.if not they need to learn or find another trade.3ton heat pump with 15 kw if the pump sized for the load calc should be sufficient.

I know you apologized for it but the most important parts were not in frame. But thanks for video.

How will they heat the house if the compressor fails outside ?Will heat strips take care of the house til heat pump condenser is repaired?

    • @adampowers452

Yes they just tend to be way more expensive than heat pump costs.

Hey, was wondering what are those white blocks under the air handler? Also how do you like that new High Capacity 2.5 ah battery? How many weeks can you go before it needs a charge?

They are essentially blocks to prevent rattling and noise from the unit. But they also balance it.

Not a fan of heat pumps but have never had any experience with newer ones. To tell the truth I'm reluctant to try the newer ones because of experience with the older units.

Some people including contractor just born stupid, don't beat yourself up.if a contractor don't have the initiative to learn he or she needs to get out of the BUISNESS.

There not a big market for heat pumps with electric heat in Ontario Canada where my grandparents live ether. Due to the fact that they don't produce as cozy of a heat below a curtain temperature without relying more on the electric furnace, which is a more expensive form of heat source up there then what it is down south. Although dual fuel systems that have heat pump with gas heat, are probably a more common type of heat pump system in Canada.

I did like the video but, one suggestion. In the future or can you do another where we can see what you are doing? I have one at home excellently like this one. Same to the amount of screws but, I can't see half of what you are removing. I understand you are making a buck and not videos for living. Again, if you do another can you please show us what you removed and from where?
