During an interview with ESPN MMA Islam Makahchev said that the UFC is responsible for the Fight against RDA not happening because he had a simple request tha they didn't fulfil, i said already it's because RDA wanted a 5 rounds fight against islam while islam just fought bobby and he didn't prepare for a 5 rounds fight, Rafael Dos anjos wanted an unfair dvantage against islam this is why the fight between Islam Makhachev and Rafael Dos anjos didn't materilize it's not because Islam turned down the fight as Dana White said.

I find Islam MORE credible for revealing this. When everyone said he turned it down, I knew there had to be a logical reason. I don't believe Islam would speak up then back down. That's not in his nature (imo).
You said it...it's because they are the most talented, respectful, honorable fighters. This is a big reason why they are scrutinized so harshly. Jealously, intimidation, lack of understanding. These fighters came in and took the world by storm. They don't run their mouths. They participate on THEIR terms, meaning we don't know every detail about their lives. Anyone who doesn't support these fighters can take a hike. They learned our language for goodness sake! If you think people don't like them for any other reason, specifically one I think we're both talking about, then who cares! I realize I say that flippantly and it's easier said than done...but there will always be those people.
The glove is part of the hand 🤣🤣 Never seen a cheater so proud of his cheating. On side note: I strongly believe that Islam's condition for fighting RDA was for Dana to guarantee him a title shot in case he wins.
Yes that might be the reason too, the reason i think it was the 5 rounds thing is because Islam said it's a small thing, and rda when asked about the fight being 5 rounds after his win over Moicano he said that he wanted it to be 5 rounds because he prepared for five rounds and seemed like ti was something important to him.
And for this cheater Tim Elliott he actually even shoved his finger in Tagir's eye when they were agains the fence and got away with it, dirty fighter.
Exactly, Dana have conor , chandler , colby , they must be always in top no matter what! About Habib Dana did never like Habib to be champ and specialy after beating badly Conor, Dana did not like Habib retired 29-0 and after that he became promotor ! Dana is arranging future fights so McTapper gets another shot at the title. He doesn't care if a fighter has earned a title shot, he wants the fights that will line HIS pockets the most. Just my opinion.

Not in this case, look how they treats Khamzat, he is gonna face Usman if he beats Burns. UFC is all about hype, and how you market yourself. Islam is boring for the casual fans, he lacks persona, and Khamzat has done a fantastic job to market himself. The whole world is waiting to see Khamzat, he has also gained many fans outside his demographic. Colby was just a normal fighter who was himself, he had good winning streak, but he was so boring that UFC was about to cut him, before he started with his whole persona thing. UFC is a marketing oritened busniess. That's why Khabib and DC are trying to get Islam to bring out his personality in the media, but Islam is a calm shy person
It depends where you live in the world. There are parts where Christians are discriminated against, and in other parts you are discriminated for being a certain race or for being poor.

@@SmeshMMA I'm Brazilian and Brazilian fighters usually say the same as Muslims, that they are discriminated, and it's not like that really, most Brazilians don't speak English and can't generate hype. UFC is about the hype, about loud mouths and trash talkers, that's why Conor is Dana's best boy, because he sells a lot of pay per view. Islam is a great guy, honorable, fun, gentle, but as Colby Covington once said, that does not sell. That's why Colby is also doing this character, because otherwise he was gonna be kicked out of UFC, cause when he was himself, a good guy, he wasn't selling as much. Let's stop playing victims and seeing the facts guys.
