But as far as my knowledge is concerned this movie was filmed in and around South India only as the cathedral they have shown in this scene seems to look very much like St. Philomena's cathedral in Mysore (State/Region of Karnataka in the South of India where Kannada is the mother tongue). Although most of our weddings follow the tradition depending upon the region or state some of the Christian Weddings as well as other wedding receptions (different religions choose western attires) are in this fashion in India now a days...Remember darlings... India is by far the most diverse country one could ever come across. A lot of religions...a lot of traditions... tons of different languages... and let's include the geography as well which includes, snow capped mountains, islands, tropical forests, ghats that we ourselves don't comprehend but we all stay together
