- Jackie and I recently built an Amazon Chicken Coop. We placed a small hen house we purchased on Craigslist inside the chicken coop to accommodate our first batch of laying hens. Now with this second batch of chickens, we needed a new plan. We are building a Hoop Coop at Burkeshire Farm.
