I don't see ISS looking "sad".. I see it as amazing progress. You've gotten so far from where you've started. And honestly the space at ISS allows you to cleanse your pastures now. No matter which property we're viewing, it's all so beautiful, the growth and continuously watching it happen (pride) 😀 congrats on everything so far and for the amazing future ya'll have.

@@2CalaLilly u must be new or u don't watch the other videos besides this one. They already said that sue will be going to Oklahoma were Daniel from arms family homestead is. Pat and Charlie will be staying at long horn Lesters. They don't need another female. that's why he kept bringing only sue in the truck rides to get her used to the long ride. they are just waiting for the weather to cool off so if they break down on the way they wouldn't be sitting in a broken down truck with a baby ostrich.

@@csyurchak9397 that isn’t necessarily why they are rehoming her to the Arms Family. If you watched past videos, Lester even said that it isn’t unheard of for related bird species to mate. Since they have no intentions of,breeding any of them, all could live at LHL. Lester talked about this when he came up with a “worst case scenario” and no one he trusted wanted an ostrich baby. An ostrich in captivity’s natural life span is 60-70 years, so, whomever agrees to take one is taking on a lifetime commitment.

    • @backpocketgaming334

Just look at it this way, IMASS’s pastures need a rest and with this drought they are in there the more plentiful shade & natural resources at LHL’s is better for these animals. It would be a shame to waste it all. The vet even said that the goats need more roughage in their diet. So, less animals there means less competition for natural resources at IMASS which equals better living conditions for all of the animals right now! 😃 Lester has said in past videos that they will always do what is best for the animals. Not what is easiest for himself or for content. Seeing how different and content Tex is at LHL’s makes it all worth the while doesn’t it? Yes, we had some funny moments with Tex at IMASS, but in all honestly, it was at what cost to Tex? You know? He was always having to be run from one pasture to another to keep him away from Billy and he kept breaking out to expand his territory. So, look at it this way…a quiet pasture is a pasture that is able to start healing itself! Personally, I don’t want to watch Lester struggle to keep all the babies healthy during this drought just so I can have IMASS content when he has a ton of natural resources at LHL’s that would just being going to waste otherwise. Hope this perspective gives your anxiety some relief! 😊

Good morning Lester & Jami! Nice job of cleaning the pickup Lester.
I did not know about taking out the filter of the wet/dry vac. It did get ruined. I am glad you mentioned that just in case others may not know.
It seemed lonely not to see the ostriches there but seeing them at LHL’s and how relaxed and peaceful they are knocks out that lonely feeling. 💞

very true Lester... it does look lonesome without the ostiches and babies there but they are going to be happy and content where they are now .. absolutely great cleaning job .. and just a little bit of elbow grease and the truck is looking great :)

Good morning Lester. Yes it's very sad not only for the ostriches and the other babies there but it was what I was worried about. The sanctuary doesn't seem the same 😢😢😢

I am actually quite happy that Wanda and Charlie were able to go to LHL's with the other ostriches. I'm not sure how you are going to separate Charlie unless he can go in the longhorn pasture, but I know you would have to ostrich proof the longhorn fencing. I was planning on a little sadness at seeing Wanda alone at IMS, but I'm thrilled instead! You're the man Lester!

I have a few pieces of Hart brand equipment, no complaints as of yet.
When you move Susie it might be a good idea to invest in a roll if drop cloth plastic from the hardware department.

A tarp attached to the front seat and up along the back folded up seats, fold and fasten the sides to protect the doors...would work great. Would just have to pull it out and wash it off after you get her to Oklahoma.

Yeah, it was a little sad. But once you harrow the pasture, dig out the old hay for burning and spruce it all up, it will come in handy to have a pasture that you can use to rotate some of the animals. And there will be more rescues coming in the future. The Ostrich family looked so good at LHL.

It does look empty but they'll be so happy at LHL. Listening to the babies Trilling when Debbie and the girls arrived was so cool. Anyone who has chooks and ducks know the smell the babies left in your truck X2. You did an excellent job cleaning up Lester, I hope it passed Jami's smell test.

Lester this was a great lesson to be learned before a 5 hour trip with Sue and she surprises you with that projectile discharge hitting you both during the drive. You will have to come up with something to cover the mesh sides , a sheet draped into the whole cage maybe but then you couldn't close the top. I'll be interested in what you come up with for the solution. I am waiting patiently for the video showing your transport of the girls to LHL.

Hi Lester, have to agree with you the place looks bare with out the ostriches running around, but I know they are in a quiet lovely area at LHL.Seen Jami’s video they look good, only one good thing now they have moved is Jake wouldn’t have to run around avoiding Karl😁. Lovely job with the cleaning, you were quick enough to say you are not for hire though, thanks for sharing

It's a sad sight on ISS. Rain will in any case ensure that it will become greener, which is a consolation. Like everyone else, I'm curious about what made you decide to move in with Wanda and Charley. We'll get to know about it as well as your plans on ISS unless at some point.
Longhorn Lester's is heaven on earth for the animals that now live there.
Your truck looks nice and clean again luckily and the stench is also gone.
Thank you for sharing everything with us Lester.
Have a nice day to everyone
