His character Bertil Svensson is a parody of a real person that's actully is named Bertil Svensson. He is a TV personality, at leat he was. He's retired now, 91 years old. But when he was on TV he had a TV show about gardening and he was cutting the stem of a flower and accidentally cut himself in the thumb and was bleeding a lot, but kept going even though the blood was running down his hand, So that is what Robert is making fun of, that there was an accident but he kept going no matter what. Robert has done many videos as the character Bertil Svensson and they are all greate! :)
His earliest skits with this character was exactly that, about gardening. A Classic is when he's in the garden with a wood chipper and, well, gets a bit stuck in it. He has a bnuch of others.
Haha there's so much detail in this character, the dialect is a big part. His opening line "jaaa" is iconic and I love imitating it. One of my favorite characters he does.
This is based of a Swedish TV-personality called - you guessed it - Bertil Svensson. He was doing flower arrangements and stuff in a Swedish tv show that was targeting mostly women during the 80's, called "Sköna Söndag" (something like cosy or beautiful Sunday) with fashion, flowers, cooking etc. He once cut his hand badly on live TV but kept really calm about it, something like, in a super calm voice "Oh, now I cut myself, but that is no issue...", and that is what the jokes about him is based on. Here you can see him: watch?v=Q_rP8Eu8-Sc
His episodes there he plays Bertil Svensson is great, there is more than this episode. Fun that you show the old stuff for us Swedes, long time since i saw this and a lot of the other stuff you upload.
For a scottish you got a good pronounce. Just love your scottish accent,,, both scottish and old Irish is whashed out today. there is still some ilands that speak the old and even the oldest that no one could understand today and it is not inglish.
Great reaction video! Robert Gustafsson is a very good comedian in Sweden and this is one of many funny characters he plays. I recommend a clip called (Bertil Svensson - Fruktshake (Robert Gustafsson)) Here is a link to a playlist where there are many youtube clips of his character Bertil Svensson. Enjoy 😆👍 ua-cam.com/video/GDxWEWlgxbE/v-deo.html

Mitt hem och min trädgård hette hans program
@martinnielsen5912 That was after "sköna söndag". Mitt hem och min trädgård" (my home and my garden) was sent 1992 to 1995.

Classic
You should see when he puts his fingers in a blender. It's amazing this guy can survive.
Watch the original real life Bertil Svensson cut his hand and then watch Roberts version doing handwork.
Here is the original 😂: from Swedish public service TV in the 80ies:

Could someone explain to me why a bar, aimed at Scandinavians, in Spain, has the Thai flag on it...
It's the Norwegian colors
