I've had some great birds in my life. Pluto seems awesome! I had a parakeet named Chipper. My brother taught him to whisper, "Chipper kills people" It was so funny when my friends would come over and he would say they, they would all laugh
This is life with a happy Sun Conure. Celebrating 14 years with my best friend and our days are very much like the video-including long showers, snuggling, and bringing what’s unacceptable to my attention. I wouldn’t trade one minute.
I used to have a Meyers parrot, and this video is the best of them showing what it is really like with a bird. On the one hand they are wonderful companions, but they do require being with them and involved all-the-time, or even half-the- time. Birds are NOT to be kept in a cage, except maybe at night, in a cage in the bedroom.
I had a MP too! She was my soulmate, lived to the age of 26 and when she crossed the Rainbow Bridge in 2011 it felt as if I'd had an arm or a leg ripped out.

I had a cat like that once, he either needed to be touching me or looking at me at all times. At the time it used to drive me nuts, but now that he's gone, I'd give anything for him to drive me nuts again. 3 years now and I still cry over him :'(
Wow. Wow. Amazing woman. Amazing bird. I laughed til I cried but was also so touched by this special lady and the unique bond she has with her little sweet birdie. I'll watch this one again and again. 🐦
in tears watching the similarities of our parrots. mine has been gone too long.. you are so gifted to have her.. mine would pout every time I would leave. she would fly to the door and sniff, sniff and then tell me she was hungry to delay my departure.. rip. cocoloco.
I have a sunconure and he is just one of the best things that has ever happened in my life, I love him so much and he always loves when I shower him!! :)
Birds as companions are brilliant, but they are hard work and a lifetime commitment. Don't get one until you've spoken to those who have them and have done your research.
We had a birdie. If we wanted to have a vacation abroad, we couldn't all go as a family, because someone had to stay behind to care for the bird. And we didn't dare give him to someone else to babysit while we were gone, because it was really attached to us, and could get depressed if it didn't see us for long periods of time. Which meant that it wouldn't eat. It was a very loved and spoilt birdie, so we only noticed how much we used to plan our life around our pet after he died. It was absolutely fantastic having him, and we don't have a single bad memory of him, but it is a huge commitment. So really think it through before getting one.
@@Iram_Ali Absolutely. We take our parrot to the vet for boarding, but the first few times he thought we going to abandon him, and it caused him a lot of stress. He needs more attention than a babysitter could give. The vet specializes in birds and even has a parrot of the breed as mine, so we knew he was safe. But you do have sacrifices. It's not like a dog or cat, it's more like a child in the amount of attention you must give to it. It needs routine, and can be unhappy if anything changes. But if a bird (and I am talking about larger than a budgie) fits into your life, you will know love at a level you never thought of. Dogs and cats are bred to love us, but some birds aren't. They're still wild animals that are raised by humans, so I think their love for us is really genuine.
I do everything with my parrot also, putting dishes in dishwasher, vacuuming also, my bird hops on the handle and id i take. Him off while i vacuum, he just flys right back on, I shower with him also, we must have the same parrot!😂😂😂Jake is a pinapple colored gcc , they say this species doesn't take rarely, but Jake talks all the time, he's my best friend, just love him so much, Jake is one of a kind, he is so special👍
I had 2 wonderful birds but they were stolen from me , I often wonder/worry what happened to them 😔 , for some reason these bird videos comfort me , thank you for sharing , may God bless you and yours
I've heard horror stories about letting the birds loose when people are still in bed. Just heartbreaking stories. (They're too tiny, and people move around while sleeping)
When I was a little girl, maybe 7…I had a blue parakeet named Mickey. He would fly in to wake me up by nibbling on my face. If I didn’t get up he would bite me! Never had a better alarm clock. What a friend.
Wow, looks like his mind is mirrored in his bright colors: beautiful and cheery. Every day with him can only be great, he is a total sweetheart. All the best to you and Pluto.
I had a sun conure that was also like that and i just recently lost her, i've never felt a worse heartbreak in my entire life, cherish everyday you have with that bird
Im so happy that this video didn't end like the last video i think i watched from them where the bird had passed away. I love seeing people with this type of bond our animal companions deserve so much love.
Oh my goodness he's beautiful :) I almost skipped it because seeing him reminds me of mine.🥺 my Sun Conure, named Petrie, died suddenly and out of the blue 4 months ago and I'm glad we were home and could hold her and calm her as she laid on my chest and I had to do my best to remain calm so that she would feel calm, and she was gone. It was torture knowing I was losing her and helpless to stop it, but it would have been a billion times worse if we'd found her gone in the morning, so I'm happy to have held her in her last moments. She was wonderful to have the last 25 years...only 5 years younger then our only son. She loved showers too and every time I did the dishes it took forever because she'd run down my arm to play in the water and you of course have to let her because it's so cute when she'd puff up in excitement, let her wings flop open and dip her head underwater and fling it everywhere :) I'd always be completely soaked by the end and when she was done she'd run up and hide in my hair and clean us booth and get warm. She laughed, on time, when jokes or funny stories were told. She copied every sneeze and had to be involved in every conversation. Her loud scream is not something most people have heard...its crazy loud!! But mainly for important things..there were a ton of other little screeches that were softer and meant different things. Sue loved to just talk back n forth with me, in her own little language. She said 'I love you' pretty well and on her own but also of course in response to our saying it. We made this clicking noise since we got her as a new baby, and she'd always click back, copy the speed or amount or a beat we'd do. I miss her so much. I still have moments of turning to speak to her like I always have and am reminded. I swear I hear a couple certain sweet little noises she made here n there, I know its just that I have 25 yrs of memories of doing certain things and her making the sweetest sounds to talk to me so when I do those same things its hard not to hear her and I still, even this morning, turn to talk and the air is sucked out of me. I'm more emotional I'm sure while healing from a big surgery that went horribly wrong and lost use of a diaphragm, lung and arm......but....even before that....i missed her so much. She was a funny, cuddly wonderful companion for 25yrs and our family was blessed to have her. :)

I've had birds all my life and I had a Peach Faced Love Bird for 20 years and he did everything with me as well , there's no better friendship then your pet bird !!! Beautiful video.......
He's absolutely adorable and so loving!
This reminds me of my mom's favourite birb
It died last year
Even he would sit on her shoulder when she is doing household chores and when she cooking
And even when she is working on her laptop
He would also sit beside mom when she is sleeping till she wakes up like a good boy
I cried cuz she cried that day...it was such a depressing day for us...
*bird
No, birb is the hip way to say cute bird.
What kind of bird, um, birb was he?
@@dragoncubes1074 It was a lovebird...I mean lovebirb:)
@@nanamikento4205 I've wanted one for a long time. They're just so cute!
Waking up with those kisses is the best thing ever 😊
Does it not hurt if you get kisses with a beak? XD
@@heavy-purple-mixx3779 It doesn't hurt. :) I have a lovebird and he is really gentle. 😊 Trust me, if they want to hurt you, they will, their beak is so strong.. xD But they are gentle little chickens 🥰 haha.
He's a very happy parrot! Grooming her and even trying to feed. Glad he has such a fantastic home, I love parrots.
Awesome, they are originally from amazon forest, here in Brasil we call them "jandaia-sol" (Aratinga solstitialis).
In the wild they are classified as animal in risk of extinction, but fortunately in captivity they reproduce easily.
Wow! Beautiful parrot and they both shared a special Bond!
Amazing !
Love this. Such great care stimulating this parrot's active mind.
What a beautiful connection between a parrot and a human. So wholesome ❤
Beautiful. A very sweet bird ....! My taskmaster conure Jojo is calling me now ... wants food or cuddle..time... inseperable companion for 13 years so far . So understand your situation... the cuties become a part of you in every way !
It's hard to convey how incredibly loveable our exotic birds can be! You did a really good job of it! I adore my Cockatoo too! Though she's a lot of work, I wouldn't trade her for ANYthing!
Pluto is quite a CHARACTER. He may not do much of the actual work, but he'll make sure you do it right. Kind of like an office manager or even a (good) politician. He could also open up Mr. Pluto's Hair Salon!
i love your idea for a hair salon! Brilliant! About as brilliant as Pluto's plumage! ❣
I've had some great birds in my life. Pluto seems awesome!
I had a parakeet named Chipper. My brother taught him to whisper, "Chipper kills people"
It was so funny when my friends would come over and he would say they, they would all laugh
This is life with a happy Sun Conure. Celebrating 14 years with my best friend and our days are very much like the video-including long showers, snuggling, and bringing what’s unacceptable to my attention. I wouldn’t trade one minute.
Same here. My Sunny girl is 15.
Such a sweet story. Love the bond the family has..beautiful!!. Pluto is very lucky to have such a wonderful life. ❤
HE IS THE SATURATION BEING TURNED ON AND BRIGHTENS MY LIFE...... best thing I've heard in a long time and will never be forgotten!
Horse, Dog, Cat, Rat, Bird...love comes in many forms and personalities, each soooo valuable in our lives. Pluto is absolutely ADORABLE, WHAT a little character! Wishing you many more long happy healthy years together.
CONGRATULATIONS on your nursing degree!!👍🏻
I have no doubt Pluto was your light & encouragement during many long hours of study. Have a WONDERFUL life together!!🦜💖🤗🐾🌈🇨🇦
I had a cat like that once, he either needed to be touching me or looking at me at all times. At the time it used to drive me nuts, but now that he's gone, I'd give anything for him to drive me nuts again. 3 years now and I still cry over him :'(
Sun conures are such lovely birds! I have one as well:)
Wow. Wow. Amazing woman. Amazing bird. I laughed til I cried but was also so touched by this special lady and the unique bond she has with her little sweet birdie. I'll watch this one again and again. 🐦
Pluto likes to b in charge! He's the Boss! 💕💙🦜🥰
in tears watching the similarities of our parrots. mine has been gone too long.. you are so gifted to have her.. mine would pout every time I would leave. she would fly to the door and sniff, sniff and then tell me she was hungry to delay my departure.. rip. cocoloco.
I'm sorry to hear that.
You are lucky to have this kind of adorable little friend. Sooo cute
That little noise Pluto makes at 3:02 is so cute--just like him!...
I have a sunconure and he is just one of the best things that has ever happened in my life, I love him so much and he always loves when I shower him!! :)
As a pet parent to several conures, I concur..they are crazy birds..which includes waking up at the crack of dawn every day..lol
This really made me laugh this morning. What a cutie. My cat likes to help me make the bed in the same way. By getting under the sheet and playing.
My cat does the same thing ❤️
My cat does the same... Except when my cat plays she has her claws out and bites to kill. It really gets bloody
My kitty does too! It’s a game we play.
He’s the sweetest little bird makes me want one
His colors are absolutely beautiful!!!
Brings back a lot of sweet memories of moments like these with our pet bird. Thank you for sharing.
Thank God for giving you such a friend! He is a lovely Angel.
He just seems like a fun, sweet little guy to have around. 💗💕
Just too precious for words❣️
I had 2 wonderful birds but they were stolen from me , I often wonder/worry what happened to them 😔 , for some reason these bird videos comfort me , thank you for sharing , may God bless you and yours
Pluto is so GOUGOUS and his color!
The happiest parrot!
Having a pet/friend like that is a good thing in life but it's very hard to lose them.... I hope he has a long life¡! 😁
Pluto is very smart.
My heart turned into a puddle how adorable he is. Pluto is a little angel

Literally looks like a phoenix
That made me really emotional, animals really are the best, Pluto is 'quality control' of her life!!! What a amazing bird 🐦💙
How sweet. We should all have a such a loving relationship with animals. Without them this world would be lifeless and not worth living in.
Pluto is absolutely beautiful and such a sweet blessing in your life! Thank you for sharing this precious creature with us!
Oh my goodness he's beautiful :)
I almost skipped it because seeing him reminds me of mine.🥺 my Sun Conure, named Petrie, died suddenly and out of the blue 4 months ago and I'm glad we were home and could hold her and calm her as she laid on my chest and I had to do my best to remain calm so that she would feel calm, and she was gone.
Hi, loved your story. I hope you are doing OK, and healing. Stay strong. All the best from Dublin, Ireland. 👍🥰☘️🇮🇪
@@veronicasheehan934 awe! Thank you so much!! I apologize again for how long it was!! But I truly appreciate it!! :)
Oh boy, I've a lot of Irish in me and its someplace we'd love to go. My son has been invited of trips to Scotland and they've taken him to Germany and Belgium..Paris...just quick trips gettto their destination but he almost didn't go because he said if he was going he wanted to go and enjoy Ireland...but they paid, so he couldn't say no🤷🏼♀️😁 health wise I won't be able to, but I look up pictures or when watching a movie or show from there I drive everyone nuts because I make them pause when its the gorgeous scenery, so that I can take pictures of my TV to one day draw or paint some when I heal. Absolutely gorgeous!
Thank you again for your kindness!! :)
My cat Blake is the reason why I have my degree, she motivated me to see it all the way through and I'll always be thankful for her 😊 I love the bond you have with your little companion!
2:47 AWWW MY HEART ❤️ ❤️ 😭
Having a pet can teach you to live in the moment! Great video!
Adorable!! Anyone else notice Pluto’s Mom’s resemblance to Princess Merida from Brave? And it’s not just the red hair. Such a lovely family/flock!!! ❤❤🌈🌈
Oh I'd love to have a birdie just like him. He's adorable! I love how he danced while the coffee was being made ❤
Thats exactly what my pet pigeon does for me she brightens my day and makes life a bit more easier. Shes a awesome bird!
Awe. I had a cockatiel that was on this level. He loved grooming my eyelashes and the blowdryer after a steam shower. He was a good bird ❤️
Made my heart swell feeling the love she has for her little Pluto.❤️
There morning routine is giving me so many vibes of Disney's version of Cinderella!
He is adorable. Sure makes my day. Love you and him
He’s adorable! What a very special relationship.
