Lil bit of heaven and Lotta hell yea!! To Louis Cato for an amazing performance... with that stage presence I never would've guessed that he had the vid, what a badass. I felt his soul pouring over that guitar of his, and it brought me to tears. I love DMB even more (if that's possible) for this!
I know youtube comments only wanna hear positivity but this was trash. Technically it wasn’t good, the theatrics and faces were just goofy but at least he stayed in key longer than Tim does in his solos.
He wasn't bad but it went on too long IMO. As far as tim... when dave and tim do LIOG tim is flawless, when he is on the electric in the full band he is hit or miss for me ill give you that
I thought liog post BT was ok up until Dereks first performance. I thought after that it really improved and Tim seemed better as if maybe some inspiration from Derek. While we miss BTs solo I'd still take liog as opposed to not.
This was strange to watch. He just kept going. Pretty sure he missed Dave’s Q to end. But didn’t lol impressive player. But the red riding hood vibe was weird seeing it live 🤷♂️
Dude can play but got busy way too early and was going for it way before the peak. Carter had to compensate and catch up. Got back and watch a humble Bela solo - he knows how to guest with DMB
I agree. His solo comes across as scrambled eggs very Vernon Reid like. And he left no where to go but louder and bar chords actually pretty neophyte just saying
Bloody brilliant....
This made me smile. Great performance 👍 Thanks for sharing
Seeing them for the first time in June. Can not wait.
This was the highlight of both nights for me! Thank you for the upload!!
no prob!
Louis Cato is a "bad ass drummer,"He played with Marcus Miller's Band for a bit!!!!

Derek Trucks was much better 🤷🏽♂️

I loved this... dude went off. Yea Carter and Stefan had to speed up but this man was soloing from the soul.
I'm sure they were fine with it haha that was such a soulful solo!
I like Dave but, I came for Louis
Wowwwweeee! I'm in love.

Bela Fleck/Warren Haynes guest solos are in a class by themselves. I think combined they have almost as many shows under their belt as buddy lol
@grant if you are able to, check out the spac 2 nighter from 2015, bela guests on about a 1/3 of the songs and it is incredible
