One of my favorite runs in the Bay. That whole stretch to Alice’s Station is absolutely fantastic

YSS fork upgrade next bro definitely handles alot better with it & feel more confident & push it harder but your riding skills are impressive & a real treat to watch.
Have seen Schaff on HIS Interceptor
HE is hard out scraping foot pegs.

Thanks mate! The forks on the 650s def leave a lot to be desired. The yss is very tempting. Schaff’s interceptor video is one of my favorites that dude can shred

@@skylinerider I got them the Yss fork & have to say I'm impressed more wallowing in corners & corners you took it easy on can confidently power around now. Also helped me out on a close once in a long groove on a sharp corner I'd never been round before.

@@skylinerider Put two 3mm washers in the forks for preload, and it'll sort it. No need for YSS.

@@skylinerider I meant no more wallowing in corners & you can get 6mm washers which are better than the 3mm one's might stop wobble & slightly stiffen but that's it as Yss have shorter spacers, stiffer springs, fork emulators, pre load adjusters & is just so much better than 3-6mm spacers.I know of 2 guys who were cheap & got 6mm spacers helped with wobble & slightly stiffed it up but stuff all else. They road my bike & were buying the Yss kit straight away & kicking themselves for wasting $60 on 6mm spacers. Also when swapping to Yss you'll need at least 30mm riser from TEC which look good & have their logo & cost $60-80 or Up & Overs from Hitchcocks or Rises but my favorite is the Motone Up & Overs 25mm up & 25mm back & are air craft aluminum & have no labels so look stock but are pricey at $145us & improve ride comfort immensely giving you more bend in arms.A
Gt does not need risers or up & overs
Another advantage of adding Yss is you change the fork oil to a 10-15wgt fork oil as R.E fork oil is about 2-5wgt but not all fork oil weight is the same as there is no international standard so between 10-15wgt is ideal.I used a 15wgt Motul fork oil as to Yss instructions but 10wgt Motul would of been fine after 350-500km forks will be broken in & you start dialing them in using preload adjusters. Also have to stiffen preload at rear shocks by 2 clicks to balance with the now stiffer front. DON'T drill out like some say on UA-cam they don't know what they are talking about & think by drilling holes to a larger diameter will cause better oil flow these guys just haven't waited for them to brake in at 350-500km then adjusted accordingly.Yss has been asked by R.E to develop this fork upgrade & is specifically designed to work with twins & needs no adjustment or drilling or any other wife's tales.Yss just like S&S slip on's were asked by Royal Enfield to develop there products specifically for the twins very early on.Definitely worth it.
I just done a video on my mods so far,if you want a look.
