I lived in LA when that criminal was killing women. A group of men caught him as I recall and called the police. Later while in prison, RR was killed by an inmate who had mental issues, called himself as Jesus. I hope my memory serves me right. Glory to God the Father, Jesus Christ and Holy Spirit. Amen.
Really never heard that story that Richard was killed by an inmate
It was published in multiple articles that Richard Ramirez died from complications of B Cell Lymphoma cancer as well as Hep C. He died in a hospital. The serial killer Jeffrey Dahmer was the one killed by another inmate.

A friend of mine told me to listen to Mr. Romero. I really liked his enthusiasm. I've always believed in God, but have a distrust in religion due to corruption and perversion. I'm trying to learn more about Catholicism. I'm trying to work past the Priests that have abused children and the cover up. I just listened to Mr. Romero from the video. He stated he started his career working in the LA County Jail for 2 years than went to patrol. He further stated in 1983 is when he had his conversation with serial killer Richard Ramirez. Well, Ramirez wasn't arrested until August 31, 1985. I'm prior military and retired law enforcement. Trust me, you never forget what year you began major milestones in your life. Could Mr. Romero have misspoken? The timeline doesn't add up. I don't attend church due to I see a lot of hypocrisy. I truly believe in God due to events in my life. I attend church in "my" church. I know what's in my heart. I look at pastors such as Joel Osteen and he's living the life as a king. Multi million dollar house, expensive cars, extravagant vacations, and so forth. Is this what God wants? The Catholic Church has a lot of issues and the most egregious involves children and the cover up of that perversion. I really don't know whom to trust when it comes to religion. I do know what I believe. The world is becoming more evil as the days pass. Mr. Romero has the enthusiasm I was looking for and we have a lot in common. Just confused on the trustworthy aspect. I've never been baptized. I want to be baptized. I have very high morals and values and I pray to God a lot. My best friend I refer to as my spiritual advisor. He should have been a Priest. I wish he was. I trust him. I just don't know whom to trust.
I hope you follow through and convert to the one and ONLY Catholic Church that Our Lord Jesus Christ and the Apostles founded in 33A.D. SATAN knows it's the one and ONLY and has been wanting to destroy it since its foundation; Lk.22:31, "Simon, Simon, SATAN has askef to sift you like fine wheat....The Great Apostasy upon the Catholic Church was prophesied and part of the Third secret. We Catholics BELIEVE Jesus in everything and when he said that the "Gates of HELL shall NOT prevail against it" ALL of these corrupt Bishops, Cardinals, Priests are going to HELL. We know what is right and wrong (just like our present Politicians) yet they don't care and continue in their wrongdoings!
As a lifelong catholic I 100% understand what u are saying. Especially the topic of the children. One thing I always try to remember though is that our faith in God has nothing to do with the actual building or church or priest bishops or any of that really despite what u might here. Jesus lives within us. And its our choice whether we follow him or not. If all of the churches and establishments were to be destroyed we would still have God. So what I'm trying to say Priest etcetera are supposed to be followers of christ and preach Gods word amongst other things but always remember they are nowhere near being God. Thier human beings nothing else. Some are good some are bad just like everyone else. I hate whats going on in our churches these days. But the church is not Jesus. I carry Jesus in my heart.
@Brian You will not find anyone who wants to clean up the church more then devoted Catholics. Jesus warned us there would be wicked people in the church when he told the parable of the wicked man who planted weeds among the wheat. Unfortunately, we need to wait till the end of time for Jesus to sort them all out. We also pray for their conversion because Jesus wants everyone to be saved. Meanwhile, the church knows that Catholics are sinners and has confession for us as we work on perfection. Confession is only for baptized Catholics. The church is a loving mother, always calling her children to renounce sin and to become holy. I suggest you read the lives of the saints. It is true there are wicked people in the church, but there are also many great saints on whom we can model our lives so that we can become holy too.
Religion is a man made institution so , of course, it is flawed , just as the leaders of these religions are flawed . Catholicism provides us the tools to engage in a special relationship with God and Jesus . That’s why I’ve returned to my Catholic faith . I don’t expect the church or it’s leaders to be perfect . I just try to take from it the guidance to understanding my faith ,

I used to be a corrections officer (also in my early 20s) in a county jail. I also worked that 3-11p shift. I actually converted to Catholicism during my tenure there. I can completely understand where Jesse is coming from in this video. The things I saw and heard there were sometimes beyond belief. In my own inexperience and youth I too was oblivious to how much spiritual warfare was raging around me; perhaps in some ways that was how God and my guardian angel protected me. God bless.
