    THIS is what I thought free range meant! Not the horror videos I just watched where the hens had picked all their feathers off and looked like they would be suicidal if they had the means 😢

      Sheds hold 20,000 birds. Most of them don't make it outside. Notice how they don't show you inside the shed...the smell is horrendous, the noise deafening. Don't forget this is a promo video. It's going to look happy. These chickens live for 5 years max and then their bodies are spent from over production and they are sent to slaughterhouses to be killed, if they aren't dead already. This might look cutesy, but I doubt it's the whole picture.

      Gabriel Ambo I wonder how happy they are when they’re over worked and sent for slaughter? I bet they dance all the way into the trucks.

    • @JustMisFitz
      @JustMisFitz 3 роки тому +1

      @FettTheRanter laying the eggs. It’s not natural, they’re gmo to lay more eggs than their bodies can take. Over worked, bodies no longer lay eggs after a few very short years if that, then when they’re all dried up if off to slaughter. Can’t feed a chicken unless she’s profiting the “nice farm”. Tc

      @FettTheRanter a criminal I stand behind. Down with speciesism. Love Gary Yourofski a man of empathy, compassion and respect for the animals. Don’t confuse animal liberation with humanitarianism. Ppl eat meat because they don’t know better or they do and they just want to die. No respect for the beautiful temple that houses us. Vegan, the righteous way to eat because remember “thou shall not kill”, “do unto others, as you want done to yourself” animals are OTHERS. Take the blinders off, you’ve been duped. You’re here to protect the animals not eat them. TG Gary has freed many and his works are good. Are yours? Rhetorical

    Chickens are not supposed to eat grass or corn, they eat bugs in the woods. And when do the chickens go back inside? How many hours do they spend outside the shed?

    Hope more farm like this!!! You did amazing job!!!
    We human eat them, kill them. Eat them as a food then at least THANKFUL them as the way treat them when they're living, give them some good life. And when we kill them, kill them FAST to avoid make them scare, stressful. Kill them fast, not torture them. It all the matter. IT ALL WE CAN DO FOR THEM AS THANKFUL THEM!!!

    • @elizabethashburn9127
      @elizabethashburn9127 11 місяців тому

      It's a nice idea, but no matter the nice life they've had, they still get sent to the same slaughter houses and still killed in the most vile ways. There is no humane way to kill as many animals as we do and as fast as we do. 30million animals are killed every 10 minutes. Most of them in slaughterhouses, most of them by workers who are underpaid, stressed, upset at the job they're doing, many have criminal records or are working there illegally. Many slaughterhouse workers have PTSD from the job they do and end up leaving, taking their frustrations out on the animals, or some commit suicide. You try killing things and listening to screams all day and see if it doesn't affect you.
      So anyway. It's a cute video. But it doesn't show the truth of it.

    • @elizabethashburn9127
      @elizabethashburn9127 11 місяців тому

      A natural flock is about 100-200 birds. Any more than that and they are unable to socialise properly. They peck each other, they have no discernable leader, no natural heirarchy and they turn on each other. A flock of thousands is socially and psychologically more like a mental asylum for these creatures, not a happy family.
