The energy recharge is Lancelot's heal. He's really good for this level because his heal can recharge the bar and he can also add a shield to the green bar.
Yan works well here with the Boomerang Towers to slow down enemies. Lancelot is great too as he can heal and put a barrier to the portal. Helios is not great as she can only block flying enemies. Try using Yan, Narlax think you have him, and Lancelot

Yeah trying this with the same lineup, but Lancelot on R2, impossible without that heal ability
You need Lancelot at R3, his healing ability is really needed in this level. The portal gets damaged regularly.

Bolton Rank 6 allows you to unlock Obsidian as the 4th hero in battle.
