I usually rate a singer based on his/her live performance not the recorded one and I could say that Jessie has topped all those singers that I've seen live. She is the most graceful and most passionate performer I've ever seen. I love her so much. Most people don't know how great she is but I could say it doesn't matter coz for me she does. Thank you for recognizing her talent as well.

What a lot of people dont know is that Jessie has a seriousheart condition that causes her heart rate to go out of control. Its called Wolf Parkinson White Syndrome. During this competition she had an episode and had to be flown back to the UK for treatment. She returned to the show but there were times where the episodes were not fully back. in control. It is why sometimes towards the end of a song she pauses and then continues. The audience was aware of what had happened to Jessie and they were so kind and empathetic towards her. Despite all the issues she went on to win the competition and deservedly so for her amazing talent.

Jessie J is one of the most gifted vocalists of "All Time!" She definitely is underestimated... to an extreme. Not only is she one of the greatest vocalists of all time, she is an extraordinary person, She has an amazing ear. I usually only listen to gospel, worship, and praise. I rarely listen to secular music anymore. Although I don't watch talent competitions, I find videos on youtube of new talent this way and that is how I found Jessie J. I am so happy that I did. Her performances on the Singer were incredible. This live performance could have been recorded and released. It was flawless. If history is accurate and truthful, she will go down in history as one of the greatest singers of all time: her vocals, song interpretation, vocal range, beautiful tone, control, and vocal agility is almost unmatched. Let's not discuss the fluidity and creativity of her runs...so uniquely and singularly Jessie J.
I hope she will begin to write and receive songs/ballads that show her vocal range and ability. She sang songs that were dear to her heart and songs that she loved. Jessie J is so adepth at emoting and giving life to the meaning of a song. For me, this is the greatest version of the song. And, I dare say that Jessie J surpassed Celine Dion's version of My Heart Will God On. At least for me. The passion, the richness of her tone, how she approached the song, and placing her Jessie J nuanced style was unreal. I know that you know about her heart condition. Did you know that she flew back from the hospital in the UK and got back just in time for the taping and did not have an opportunity to rehearse with the orchestra before singing My Heart Will Go On?
Her epic performances on the Singer are so impressive,and demonstrates how uniquely gifted a singer/vocalist she is. So stunning.

Hi Andy! I found you through a Dimash reaction, but I'm enjoying all your reactions! Jessie J is incredible! I'd like to recommend another singer, though. Zhou Shen (Zhou sounds like Joe). He's such an amazing and unique singer. I fell in love with him and his voice during Singer 2020. His voice never really lowered a lot when he hit puberty and he was afraid to sing in front of people, even though all he wanted to do was pick up a mic and sing. His parents also discouraged him from pursuing music when he was young because he didn't have the appearance of a superstar (he's 5'3 / 1.61cm), so he kind of buried it. At first he went to the Ukraine to study dentistry, but music was always his passion, so he changed to music school and studied as a belcanto. He speaks 6 languages and sings about 12. He tries to incorporate classical singing with contemporary. Although he was a little famous singing on the internet, he became more known when he finally agreed to appear on The Voice China in 2014. I would start with Memory from Cats from the Super Vocal competition in 2018 ua-cam.com/video/cmc1aP90zGc/v-deo.html. He's been able to develop some lower register now, but not like you think.
