I'm not the biggest Gigi fan or anything and she definitely didn't deserve some of her wins, but I think she earned at least the snatch game and probably the final episode

she definitely won snatch game fs! and the final challenge & i personally think she should’ve won the ball too because she made the whole entire outfit out of scratch including sewing the white dress! but i do in fact think jan should have won the rusical
I think Snatch Game could have easily been a joint victory. I think if I had to pick, Gigi probably edged it out because I did prefer her runway to Jackie's, but both were amazing in snatch game for different reasons, and both absolutely would have deserved the win. They were both in character the whole time, they hit every single ball Ru or anyone else threw their way, and they both took their characters in unexpected directions that worked perfectly. I probably quoted Jackie more, but Gigi's performance was the more unique and unexpected.

And this current season of UK Drag Race should have had Tayce and Bimini as double winners. I honestly thought Tayce’s snatch game was better.
I think if the season had been judged fairly then Widow would have never become de-motivated because she was basically beat down and peer pressured into it by the producers rigging the show against her favour. When you’re constantly exhibiting your talent and the show constantly tells you “that’s fine but not great”, anyone would be demotivated. On this season she would flourish and potentially win, or at least be proper top 2/3 against Jaida/Jan.
I think this for Jan too. Jan's runways were great and she never did BAD on any challenge, just wasn't exactly what the judges liked the best. Also Widow had THE BEST Stars and Stripes runway, period.
@@RomansR2 agreed on Jan as well. Like, episode one her critique was “you’re doing too much” but the challenge is literally “perform a verse that tells us about you” like, at that point she knew it was fixed against her.

It's a TV show ... i am sorry but you can't be demotivated in a TV show... Producers don't have time for someone crying over being safe or in the bottom or whatever... They want to see people being good product for a TV show. For me Widow was super good in the first episodes but getting into her head played a rly bad card for her. Yes, she is stunning, yes she is an amazing lipsyncer but she also have to bring TV ! We have seen so many good queens going home just because they are not giving the production material to be used for the TV ... Be a villain but slay the challenges, be a comedy queen, have something so the production can give something for the audience... I know you will all attack me, cause Widow did good job but... well it was not enough for sure. If we take Heidi was an example... she didn't do that good in challenges but she was a very good narrator for the show, ofc they will keep her. Going into such a show, and knowing it's overscrupted and overproduced, queens have to be ready to give TV moments... not just play safe with 0 storyline.
Judges be complaining about Rock Ms humor but then we get stuff like the my best squiflfriend and sex and kitty girl acting challenges

i have a theory that shitty pie did wayyy better than what was shown in the worlds worst challenge, that episode aired the week after she was exposed so maybe the editors panicked and cut majority of her scenes of her doing good because there’s no way she deserved to win based on what was shown to us
Agreed. They gave us bare minimum of her. Which is fair because they didn’t want to paint her positive at all And that episode they didn’t have much time to change things beyond cutting as much as possible.
She 100% did. That episode was the first one to be re-edited after the controversy and you can really tell they didn't know what to do yet. They were probably trying to gauge the response of how much they could cut with it still making sense, but they definitely over-edited that episode. A leak of some of the original edit came out and it had a ton of Shitty Pie in it, and showed her leading and directing her group
That episode was awkwardly put together after SP’s scandal had come out. You could tell big chunks were missing from the original edit and the producers had to come up with a full episode using footage left on the cutting floor and hurried put in before the air date.
You can turn it however you want, jaida would win regardless
Jaida as the best lipsyncer had an excellent chance of winning the season from the off imo
High key think if Gigi didn’t almost get disqualified from the show; the quarantine version of the finale could have been the only way she could of won.

@@RobinPochita long story short the finalist were given restrictions and guidelines to follow for the finale. Gigi broke them by having her solo performance set done by herself. Then she rented out a studio to perform in which weren’t allowed so she had to redo hers.
So, in this universe, Gigi its the first queen without wins in the top 4, and she gets the robbed storyline
Shannel, Jujubee (S2 & AS1), Raven (AS1), Cheryl Hole, and Blair St. Clair (AS5, which would’ve been after S12 but I digress) never won a challenge on their season and made it to top 4.

The whole Gigi situation is one high fever dream. She's both a fan favourite AND a queen people love to pick on because of the favoritism she received. The fact is that season 12 was so, so packed with talent that almost every win could have gone to several queen, and I truly think Gigi deserved every one she got, as well as others (Jaida for the ball, Jacky for SG, Jan for Rusical...).
But then, you can see the clear "dragging" of her in this kind of video when she's automatically denied all of her wins just to balance the favoritism out.
And afterwards, people in the comments are either in the "Gigi is an untouchable human god" department, either on the "Stay pressed Gigi stans, she robbed Jan and has no credit for her success" bandwagon.
Like I mentioned before, one high fever dream.
I don't hate Gigi at all because the queens don't pick if they are favorites or not. I think she's a funny and gorgeous drag queen who has a lot of talent. Plus even though a lot of people disliked her more “costumey” looks, I really enjoyed them and I love her little movements she does with them! I definitely think she had favoritism towards her but that doesn't mean she's a bad queen in any form.

Ok so imo all of gigi’s wins were justifiable as she was definitely 1st/2nd in all of those challenges so I definitely do agree with all the wins that she was given but I would rather if the wins were split out more evenly. Like she have 2-3wins and the others they gave to the the runner ups of those challenges to make it fair.
Gigi is a very good queen imo, but landed in the wrong season. It was clear they pushed REDACTED and Gigi to rival, with Gigi probably never rver winning - Gigi isn't a wildly political queen on a season w a slight political undertone. So the win went to Jaida as she was polished, high drag, but funny, well rounded etc - and honestly am glad it went to Jaida. She was a very polished and striking queen with tons of talent, but wasn't given as much attention. Just look at it - a peagant queen that did not get a nasty catty edit? When I look at Jaida, I think Chad Michaels for some reason. Very similar vibes from them and similarly to S4, I think they wanted to push a funny comedy queen with some looks and a lot of jokes (what a coincidence that we call both of them REDACTED nowadays), a catty young queen villain (Jaremi aka formerly Phiphi and Gigi, who reportedly was given the villain storyline at the start, but toned down) and a polished, classy queen (Chad and Jaida).
But REDACTED screwed up that idea so we got Jaida earlier. But much like Chad Michaels would have deserved a S4 win, Jaida deserves this one.
It is so obvious that there was Sherry Pie favoritism during the taping of the competition and it just makes it so awkward that it is obvious that the production was pushing Sherry Pie but then the entire controversy happened and had to cut as much as possible out of the show
Ugh the idea of Jaida and Jan being the top two would make me cry of happiness. Jan actually has the Rosé track record in this time line. I’m rooting for Rosé to avenge her!
Brita is great but if you watch her dancing she’s totally out of sync with her backup dancers in the Madonna ep
this might be controversial, but i don't think Rock M was better than Aiden in the first episode. Her splits might have been nice and her verse was funny because of the fart joke, but her lipsyncing was off and the sound of her voice doesnt really leave such a good impression on me. Aiden had a good verse, a good performance and most importantly her enunciation was FAN-TASTIC! every time i hear it i feel like she is an actual voice actor or story teller. i know you want to exclude the judges here, but i don't think their critique of her this week was produced/off at all, but rather on point.

Yes, not only is Aiden’s verse better than Rockem, it was more in the style of Fosse, that’s why the fart joke didn’t work because you would not expect that in that style
Imo, the mini challenge is what really decides it for me for these two in this episode

I agree here, I think Aiden and Rock M are the two who are interchangeable between high and low, personally I put Aiden as high only bc of Rock M’s slightly cheesy verse, idk why everyone is shitting on Aiden here, I thought her verse was good, and her runways weren’t too bad either (like I said Rock M wasn’t far off of Aiden, her runways were a bit better, but obviously the challenge has more value)

She could have been Pope Benedict or Margaret Thatcher and said and done the mannerisms she did and it would still be "funny" She wasnt a characterization, she simply acted absurd as a random character. That is by FAR the easiest thing to do as far as impressions go, because you can project whatever you want, while Jackie actually had to study this person and emulate her, which is much more difficult.

The Gigi stans have found the video and they are not loving this Jantasy lmao. My only nitpick is that I don't think Jackie would make it to top 4 because it feels like production was dead set on pushing Crystal to top 3 because of how much of a fan fav she was. However, as much as I love Crystal she is no lip sync assassin and she did lose to Jackie in that lipsync, Jackie removing her heels be damned.
Production don't know who is gonna be fan favourite and who is gonna be not liked... you know that? They film the season a year before it airs... so your comment is kinda not valid at all.

Get where you’re coming it was a bit of an over correction especially with giving Jan the win over Jackie and Crystal who we know did well, but at the end of the day it’s just a bit of fun speculating
Jan was ok at best, and is completely one note. It was the same in All Stars where she got an unmerited win for storyline reasons. The only reason she gets talked about is for her tantrum over not winning the Rusical - I would have had Jaida winning it instead of Gigi or Jan
@@alanlaurence3684 i was excited for Jan to be on All Stars because i wanted to see what she was capable of, since the producers obviously didnt favour her in season 12 according to all viewers. but i just saw more of the same from her, except she came in with this huge ego like she bought into the "Jan was robbed" conspiracies. i was really disappointed in what i saw. it was better than season 12, but not by much.
I think a lot of us put Gigi higher for World's Worst because usually the first team challenge is judged IN teams. I don't believe that was done at all this season, is that a first? Gigi's runway was also strong, I would say the strongest of her team - Jackie's was especially hideous.

I usually agree with most of your videos but this one is completely off for me. Gigi with no wins?? She definitely deserved a few of the ones she got!
There is no way Jan could beat Crystal in the One Woman Show; the judges were in the palm of her hand.
Plus Jan didn't do that good in the Improv challenge, did awful in the Droop. In my opinion Rock as the Orange did 10x better than Jan. I can't remember a single thing Jan said. I don't think she's a comedy queen, at all. Crystal definitely would have still won hands down.

Tbh, I don't feel Jan would kill it in the One Woman Show challenge. I've seen her perform in NY a bunch of times, and she's KILLER. So damn talented. That being said, her energy is always always ALWAYS immense to the point where it can be really overwhelming and one note. That's where I feel she would have been eliminated if production riggery were gone

I think Jaida should've won the ball, just based on the fact that they were tied for the first 2 categories but Jaida's actual ball runway was 10x better than Gigi's
the challenge is to create a look, not just stick balls to a bodysuit or a corset, and i know jaida wanted to make a dress, but if we're realistic, she could still do something else to elevate the look, while gigi made a functional dress

Jaida literally just wore a dress for her second look, while Gigi brought the same elevation for all of hers.
@@dannyharris3493 The challenge was to comply with the categories, which she did incredibly well, Gigi used a skirt, dress and a coat, three totally different things, together with the fact that she chose each thing in a way that was not repetitive with the other contestants, (using a siluetta that favors him, while although Jaida is beautiful with whatever she wears, the first look did not fit her waist, something that would be harshly criticized by any other queen as rock m., and that unfortunately Jackie used the same concept of Jaida, so her look is not so original, although well executed)
I agree that the producers pushed Gigi to the front a lot, but snatching literally all of her wins from her is a little unjustified in my opinion. She deserved her win for Snatch Game and it even could’ve been a double win with Jackie. I think her win for the Las Vegas performance was justified too cuz she had great vocals AND great performance (unlike Jaida who performed well but sounded bad). In regards to season 11, Yvie definitely should’ve won that final challenge thus making it justified to give a season 12 girl a win too.
The final challenge literally was only given a winner so they could push Gigi. It’s completely justified to not have it have a win.

Jaida still gives more versatility and gives more in general, Jaida may have less fans, but her fans are less annoying. Now I have nothing against Gigi, she can’t help that Rupaul’s Drag Race has shitty production that picks a queen to act as a sacrificial lamb each year by making them highly favored on the show. Except the difference between this sacrificial lamb and Silky, Eureka, or Kandy, is she has an army of delusional fans who think she should’ve won. Gigi is a cute drag queen, but she did not do the best on the show, she got the best score because it was rigged. If she was on season 3, let’s say instead of Raja, she would’ve went home on a fashion challenge. She’d be competing with seasoned queens who actually know fashion like Manila and Yara Sofia, she just doesn’t compete with any of the other queens who are labeled fashion queens, she only wears one simple ass silhouette and everyone calls it fashion. If this was old drag race she’d have been ripped a new one after like 2 episodes for wearing the same shit.

She did great in rusical and had a cool obscure reference for the Michelle runway which obviously Michelle loved and appreciated securing her that win. And she was the most together with the best vocals in the final Ep
I rewatched britas a lot, the whole show she said she was on touring broadway shows and that her performing talent was unparalleled and then got completely outshined. I also think what made people think brita did worse was because she INSISTED on having cone bra madonna, and didnt let Gigi have it, and when brita kinda faded into the background and Gigi stood out it only nailed the head in the f=coffin that brita wasn’t doing as well as she thought she was doing in the competition

But if it was judged FAIRLY aka they saw what was presented to them, she would've won a challenge or two ( gays anatomy for example, Widows Watermelon Cape was basic compared to the Elvis look Sherry did. This is honestly way better, but still not entirely unbiased. You seem to be especially harsh towards gigi here. I get it, she was favored way too much and should have been in the botton in the episodes you placed her there.
However, maybe that's unpopular, Gigi won snatch game and the madonna rusical, period.

Tbh I think my problem with this video is that you're not truly judging fairly, you're judging more based on your opinion. I love Rock, but her elimination in the Ball is justified. You gave no wins to Gigi and your justification was "preference". That's not judging fairly... to be as fair as possible, if a win is debatable, you should go with the judges. Gigi won Madonna fairly, Snatch Game too. Also giving Jaida's makeover win to Crystal, again, if you can't find a justification other than "we ALL agreed", that's not fair judging. I completely agree with the Ball win to Jaida tho, again not because of preference, but because Gigi's final runway was a garment with balls, not really a garment made out of balls.
Maybe title: "what if Season 12 was judged by me / by the fans" would be more appropriate, saying your opinion is fair is not correct...

Jan is incredible, but my problem is that he had no substance in the show, since he literally got angry for going safe, and instead of following what the judges told him, he did the opposite (they asked him to calm down, since he always her energy was so high that we really didn't know who Jan was, it wasn't until she gave us the face of the century that we saw another emotion from her,)

I wholeheartedly agree that Jackie should have won Snatch Game. While I agree that Gigi’s runway was slightly basic, I think she missed the point of Snatch Game. It is to IMPERSONATE a celebrity, not CREATE a character. She was doing Sofia the robot, but she doesn’t really do anything that Gigi did, whereas Jackie really perfectly embodied Lisa Rinna. Even Lisa Rinna herself has laughed at Jackie impersonating her.
Gigi did this throughout the season. Got around the task by doing her interpretation of it, or by doing something she knew she could do and saying that she'd done the task, while not actually doing it.
For me biggest case in point, the Michelle runway. Felt VERY much like Gigi decided what she wanted to wear first and then trawled through everything Michelle ever wore until she found something like it. The point of that challenge was not to wear 'a Michelle costume' i.e. a costume that Michelle had worn, but 'a MICHELLE costume' - to impersonate Michelle with a look. She completely missed that aspect.
Interpretation is part of the battle. Queens like jynx have won not because of character accuracy but character development. Ru has encouraged this, as well as past snatch game winners. As Ru says, “just be funny.” Thats the goal of snatch game.
Ginger's Adele is not how Adele acts at all, she admits it, Adele's not stupid like that. But it's the same essence. Gigi's was the same essence but she added things, which was what made it funny. And Jackie was really repetitive.

It was a physical comedy performance when the challenge was an impersonation. Then her runway look was literally a little skirt with a prop. Definitely showed NERVE, but the rest, no, imo.

Yeah I don’t agree with a lot of this but we are all allowed to have our own opinions. Yeah I think Gigi was favored in a few challenges on the show, on here there is too much bias in the other direction. As a huge Madonna fan, Gigi deserved that win. The only things I would change in the show are as follows:
Jan is in top 2 first/second episode
Heidi wins episode 3.
Jaida wins ball.
(Yes, Shitty won the acting challenge) and everyone was so good there had to be a top 6. Gigi was hilarious and so was aiden.

Jaida wins makeover. Her partners beat could go toe to toe with RAVEN. Even though I WANTED crystal to win, I can’t argue with Jaida’s. In the makeover as well, Gigi is low because it was a little basic.
One woman show, Crystal wins and because she broke the rules, Shitty is in the bottom with Jaida, and gets obliterated in the lipsync.
Gigi wins the Vegas show. The bottom 2 are Crystal and Jackie.

Can't really agree with some of these:
-Gigi, Sherry, and Jackie repeated the same joke, but Gigi and Sherry recycled their snatch game performances.
-Gigi and Sherry broke the rules, and Crystal didn't do what was asked, which was to make one with a little of herself.
-Jackie definitely won that lipsync against Crystal.
I must say yeah sherry is an awful person. However, she definitely did well in the season and I feel like if we never found out about what she did , she prob would’ve won.

I do think Gigi deserved 2 of her wins while the other 2 (IN OTHER'S OPINIONS) could be given to others
1. Her Snatch game, it was between her and Jackie, and Jackie's runway was HORRENDOUS to me, giving Gigi her win in Episode 6.
2. The Vegas Revue, it was between her and Jaida, and we had seen Jaida in a pageant-y gownish type thing, whereas we hadn't really seen a concept like what Gigi put on until then.
3. Her Madonna win, it was between her and Jan, Jan had great vocals, decent performance, Gigi had decent vocals and an amazing performance - Jan's runway was better than Gigi's - leaving a tie between the two, so I'd say that could be a double win. (Like Ginger and Kennedy in Snatch Game)
4. Her Ball runway, between her, Jaida and Nicky - Gigi had 2 great looks and her final one was okay - Jaida had 2 great looks and her final was okay - Nicky had 2 great looks and her final one was great / good - I would have replaced the win from Gigi to Nicky.

@@rubenferreira197 Well, I said Nicky should've won the ball, a bikini doesn't mean you should lose a challenge (cause there's body suit queens who wear bodysuits on the runway ALL season and they get a pass - Vanessa - but a pantie and a bra coming together to make a realised look should not cost a win) and to be honest, the challenge should hold more weight than the runway, and I had more fun watching Gigi than watching Jan do the same moves for 2 and a half minutes. I can't control the win they gave out at the Vegas Revue, but it makes sense to have a winner, cause someone's getting eliminated at the same time, if everyone is deemed as safe, though they got critiques of a win, that would be kind of aggrivating (Think Yvie and Aquaria on S11 + 10)
I have to say this: Rock M would have done well in Snatch Game-maybe not well enough to be high, but well enough to be safe. She has comedy chops (as seen from her making on-the-fly puns in the World’s Worst challenge, as well as on her UA-cam channel) and had a pretty good Frozen runway (it had snow puffing out of the sleeves when she walked, which would have been an iconic moment on the show.) So even if she wasn’t high placing, she definitely deserved to be safe over Crystal (who did not do poppy justice) and (in my opinion) Jaida, who wasn’t super funny to me (although she did do well, I don’t think she would do as well as Rock). Moving on, she probably would have done ok in the madonna musical, maybe even placing high (taking Crystal’s spot) since she can dance and had a pretty good Michelle runway (with gorgeous makeup). I feel like she would have done well in the Droop challenge too, maybe rivaling heidi’s humor with her own, both being sporadic and random and absolutely bombastic in their own way. (Also her black wedding look is KILLER). But then we get to the political challenge and this is where I think she goes home, simply due to the mental health breakdown plus having a terrible runway plus just me not seeing her do well, so she gets sent home in that challenge. Just my take :)

But in episode 4, I PERSONALLY believe Nicky should've won.
When you go into Jaida's outfit, she basically stuck balls on a corset, added some going down the corset onto her thigh and some over top of her shoulder in the other side as the balls on her thigh.
That being said, she played it smart, the way she put the look together made it look better, but IMO she just did what Aiden did but leagues better. Good, but not deserving of a win as he had the same idea as a girl who was put in low

I agree here completely, personally, I think Jaida’s outfit looked the best, but when it comes down to construction and execution, Nicky did the most of all 3 of the high queens, so that gives her the win in my opinion
This is a very valid point, but I respectfully disagree only because I feel like Jaida’s is more something we haven’t seen before. It’s okay to be simple, if it looks nice and it’s different, I love Nicky’s look, but it’s something we’ve seen on Season 11, I think she did it better than Yvie though tbf. Honestly the win could’ve gone either way between them, hell it could’ve even been a double win.

My issue with this video, is yes. I think we all get what Sherry Pie was fucked up but putting aside the person. Sherry was a really good competitor. Like I definitely think she deserved the win for Gays Anatomy.
I feel like the recent seasons are so obsessed with storyline, drama and favouritism that fair judging no longer matters. They get flack for it every season, but still don't do anything to fix it.
For World's Worst, Gigi should have been high with Jacky and Heidi, since they were a team (which the voters seemed to understand). Similarly, Widow should have been low with Crystal and Nicky in the bottom 2. The first acting challenge of the season is always judged in groups, unless they are trying to favor/rob certain queens. (In this case Sh*rry and Crystal were favored). I agree that the placements for World's Worst in this video should have been the actual ones, but drag race's history has to be taken into account.

She's like Miz Cracker on Acid. TOO CALCULATIVE. Girl just be yourself. And get a vocal coach cause while yes you can sing, your tone needs work and its why you didnt go far on AGT. Can I mention that Gigi winning Snatch Game broke some unwritten rules. First of all, Maria The Robot doesn't exist. The real robot's name is Sophia. Second, in Snatch Game, you have to get the character down-pat. Gigi's impersonation of Sophia, while hilarious, didn't at all match what Sophia is like, especially when seen live on TV. Jackie Cox got Lisa Rinna down-pat, and that runway was better. So yeah, I totally agree Jackie was the real winner Snatch Game, even if Gigi was funnier.
P.S. I actually prefer this version of the season to uckey lee's version. Especially with Jan being in the finals, with no Bottom 2 placements, making her return to All Stars 6 feel a lot more justified.

So for world’s worst the way I always looked at it from a non-rigging format is to judge in groups.
With my “winner” being Heidi that immediately puts Jackie and Gigi as high. And with my choice of Dahlia in bottom 2 I would have to pick another fruity in the bottom or if I chose Crystal (she did worse then Nicky period) I would put Nicky there with her.
