Spiteful Camilla wouldn't go because her family was excluded from the service. Charles should be ashamed of not going to the concert even without Camilla especially as Catherine has just recovered from cancer. I think a lot of the other royals were absent as Catherine wanted to invite the families from Southport and those emergency services that attended the scene. I don't think it made much of a difference about the absence of the king, as it was a welcoming loving atmosphere and the true meaning of Christmas.

Botox for her wrinkles, all matter of skin creams and oils, moisturized day in and day out and any stray hairs plucked from where they should not be, and built up where they should. And lastly, her very “youthful” figure was massaged to a light pink colour, and finally molded into very expensive couture fashions. Dressed at last with expensive jewelry, - necklaces draped up and down her breast bone, and hanging “drop dead” earrings to match, and a very intricate wrist band of silver that sparkled. And then, lastly, she lifted the large tiara and placed it as gracefully as she could onto her head - it weighed so much. All of that…...she puts herself through all of that to make her “look” like the Queen of Sheba, to make her “look” like she’s enjoying being the head of an important charity - the largest one. But, she can’t for the life of her, understand why no one seems to appreciate all the things she’s done to make her “look” presentable - every inch the impressive Queen she is, and deserves, as the most important woman she is, and as such, “adored” by all the others (even if she really doesn’t care so much about the work of the charity.) For Camilla, it is all about the LOOKS -and the TITLE. That is what she really worked hard at getting, and thought of all the blisters she got by getting it. And she really had to be on her toes - and she was ! As long as she has the all important TITLE: QUEEN ! And then, sound broke into her reverie. She was being announced. Slowly, smiling widely, she stopped, and all of the women in the room silently gazed at her. The clapping of hands, and words of admiration, thankfulness, and appreciation that were expected, did not come. There was a slight nodding of heads and silence filled the room, as if all the women had telepathically agreed. No one should be involved with a charity of any kind, especially as Head of a Royal Charity, when one doesn’t really want to do the work, the real work behind any charity that pulls at one’s heartstrings, and meant to give hope to countless others. When one has no real and tender charitableness even in their own bones, just to try and eke out a bit of approval.
