I've been on magical alley recently to buy a wand and they have recently updated their website to include a disclaimer stating "for all custom orders there is a waiting list of six months or longer. You can also order from one of our pre made wand designs for a no wait purchase if the waiting time doesnt suit you" (or words to that effect).
My wand is a 14 inch poplar wood wand with a "curp tail" core and the design is a basic one rather than the fancy curly one you chose (still looks great though and is clearly a wand not just a stick)

Thanks for the update. I'm glad to hear they did put something to that effect on their website.
It took 4 years until I got mine. And 1 year was just waiting for it to being sent. It is honestly not worth the wait.
