Contest update: Please read! Thank you for over 1350 total entries. My goal was 1000 & tbh I’m really surprised we surpassed that. We cut the contest at 900 subscribers, 400 IG followers, and 150 TikTok followers. It was a cool launch experience for myself and everyone who supports the new show. The winner of the PS5 is TikTok user: Marion (@ marionmueller 1997). Might try to have the winner chat on socials or something fun this summer. Moving forward: It was a little too challenging to keep track of multiple social platform entries so the next giveaway will be strictly UA-cam only. & I’d like to do another contest in the near future (September-ish) so I'm asking you for contest suggestions. Here's our shortlist for potential prizes, let me know your vote & stay tuned for announcement. 1 - iPad Air 2 - AirPods Max 3 - Oculus Quest 4 - Suggest below Thanks again, this was fun & I’ll try my best to do these quarterly to thank y’all for supporting the show.
We had a kid who used to show up once in a while to school during lunch and embarass our basketball team. We asked him to play but he just didn't care. Sometimes too much talent can ruin motivation as well.
Lenny was also 19 that summer Lebron was 16. That was a crazy summer but in all fairness Lebron was a USA Today All American 1st team. It was Crazy at that time. The Car Accident is Sad.
but LBJ started playing at 8/9.. Lenny started at 14.. so if you go on time which is one of the factors considering development.. it’s not that crazy.. also Lenny seem to have learning difficulties which manifested in his grades and attitude
@vturner that was the summer of 01. Lenny was 19 you want to know why I know this a Kid named Marcus Butler Got a B- at that camp showed us all on tape
He was never better than LeBron, so trying to get clicks and views by saying that he was better than LeBron he wasn't, LeBron did everything Lenny didn't!
I feel bad for him, there's been plenty of ballers who didn't make it due to problems with school or at home, or arrogance/not putting in the work. Guys like him and Earl Manigault
i know a dude in Canada who was going to McGill University after dropping out in 9th grade/3rd year of highschool , thanks to his football skills… and he STILL fumbled up that opportunity. Universities/Colleges over north america move mountains for athletes
None of the Lenny Cooke videos ever bring up that he had a car accident, maybe without that he could have eventually got a shot. Seems like the system for undrafted players wasn't as good back then as it is now though
It was a dude from out of Rochester. New York was the best basketball player who ever played the game. When he was a kid he train in Walt Frazier basketball camp. They called him LUCKY. Hit me back if you know his name. We was in the USMC, but he should had played in the NBA, because it wasn’t a player in the NBA as good as Lucky, yeah Lucky would win the game, also if you wanted to fight he enjoyed that more than basketball . It wasn’t a heavy weight pro fighter at the time that could have beat Lucky.
I pray🙏 for Lenny Cooke that God in the mighty name of Jesus Christ will allow your true story to come out and expose the other people that did you wrong and Justice will be served on your behalf and other children that loves to play basketball will be warned about people that will take advantage of them. Amen. Pray u will have a movie out about ur life as well . thanks for sharing n helping the youth out. In my eyes ur richer and stronger than Mr James. 😁
I’m sure it would be hard to watch the documentary! Tried to take the short route. Don’t cross up the message. Tell these kids the truth,, tell them your real story. Stop sugar coating and playing the victim.
All of the reasons people focus on as reasons for not making it...If you're really great at something they won't even matter...Lawrence Taylor smoked crack and was still maybe the greatest football player ever.
@@RexT3rra Jimmy johnson once said if the 53rd man on the roster falls asleep during the meeting we cut him if Michael irvin does you give him a pillow.
Lenny Cooke took bad advice from a agent, he was ready mentally to be a pro he had been playing organized ball for less than 5 yrs…wat makes pros pro is their ability to work hard..and Lawrence Taylor didn’t start smoking frack til he was n the league
LeBron became famous, because he made out last minute shot off of Lenny Cooke. you were already A grown ass man,. LeBron was just 16 years old. Yo ass had no business even being at that camp you should’ve been playing in the NBA with Kobe. in fact, you were older than Kobe
How to win a PS5:
- Like this vid, comment (something thoughtful) & subscribe.
That's it. Good luck & thanks for supporting the new show!

In 2001 he should of already graduated he was born in April 1982 which would make him 3 years older than Lebron. Why don’t nobody mention that.
He was too cocky
He was a yr and a half older than bron
as an avid nba and basketball fan, this is a great show and interesting topic. was able to dig deep into details. keep it up! you earned a subscriber!

@@gmunna704 Lenny was 19 years old theres a significant difference between 19 and 16 body wise.

That’s tough. Cautionary tale.
I don't blame Cooke, if you're told you're getting huge money, over 350,000, who wouldn't go to the draft?
Yeah everybody would rather skip college and go to the pros, LeBron was unusually mature mentally
Lenny cook is the example of bad decision after bad decision which usually leads to bad luck
Great point.

Yeah but Goat had gambling and major drug issues plaguing him, though.
I agree
HOW THE HELL DOES LENNY BELIEVE ST.JOHNS COLLEGE WOULDVE ACCEPTED HIM? He wasn’t going to class.
It’s plenty d1 hoopers who didn’t go to class n hs…lloyd Daniel’s was enrolled at unlv and he didn’t even graduate hs

He's not telling the true story he's telling the story that makes him look best in other peoples eyes.
There's a reason for him not getting drafted.
I'm not a fan of constant "know what I mean"
His name was out there before he played against you….stop it Lenny Cooke
His story is getting tiring 💯 get over it and get a job my guy
So underrated ...
Because
Did lenny really Lebron made a name off him 😂😂
