@@fishonalbertaoutdoors9761I’m surprised that not enough people have realized that. They are meant to look good but if you look closely it’s just fake luxury
I have a '21 Platinum and watching this review I immediately noticed how basic alot of the trim looks in the interior and some missing pieces. I'm just now realizing after looking it up, that in 2022, Ford did away with a bunch of the interior ambient lighting and the license plate LEDs that came standard on mine. Also all the grey wood trim (similar looking to the RAM) in my interior was replaced by flat grey plastic but of course the price goes up....wow. Also didn't know they did away with the headrest speakers and other speakers as well. It used to be an 18 speaker system.
I have a ram with that interior and the sliding drink holder module is very slick but it doesn’t give you more storage, it just gives you flexible storage. But once you put your stuff in it, you aren’t really moving that drink holder around all that much anymore. It gives you either/or storage and is remarkably similar in overall capacity to the ford. But Ram gets a win with the rotary knob. That frees up some legit space.
What do you think the payload difference is between the PowerBoost and the EcoBoost? I would think you’re giving up a fair amount of payload on the hybrid.
Ford learned early to put direct-injection in the Eco-Boost engine. I hope Ram didn't make a mistake not going with direct-injection because I want the Tungsten when it arrives. However, I haven't heard of any problems with the Hurricane SST H.O. in the Jeep Grand Wagoner
I am waiting on my new F150, if I didn’t work for a Chrysler Dealer and seen how lousy they take care of warranty issues, I might consider the Ram, but I got a bad taste in my mouth. I’ve had 3 F150 and no complaints. Who knows, if that engine performs in the next 2-3 years I might make the switch..
@fit4ya1975 everyone can thank Ford for these small 6 cylinder turbo charged power and payload interior truck wars. They're the best and always will be! FORD FTW
The RAM is easy on the eyes, and looks beautiful, but the Ford is easy to live with. It just has so many of those little things that make day to day ownership a joy. BUT the rams second row, reclining second row seats, and quieter cabin (and it is quieter for the second row regardless of the measurements take in the review later) it makes the Ram better if you are hauling family a lot. They will enjoy that second row more for sure. I thought I heard you can use lower octane in the SST HO but you don’t get as much performance out of it… 🤷🏻♂️ ??? I must have read that wrong.
So just an observation: Despite having standard air suspension, Rambox(although I wish they were optional), spray in bedliner, rear wheel well liners, reclining rear sear, cooled rear seats, passenger infotainment screen, and 540hp I-6...the Ram is "overpriced"? Sure, they should have standard 360 cams for sure, but I find it hard to understand why the Ram is considered overpriced. The Ford has a paltry 80 more pounds of payload, so Ram has even closed that gap. The reason why Ram's black out look costs a little more is Ram adds blacked out 22s over 20s.
Both are amazing trucks! But what are they doing with that ram grille? Those two square areas should have the chrome loops around them like the rest of the grille. Like the chrome loops the bighorn grille has.
The King Ranch costs the same as a 701 Platinum but comes with the exact same equipment as a 702 Platinum. This makes the King Ranch the best value amongst the expensive Ford trucks.
I'm not certain this guy's math is mathing... The Ford has a 300 pound HIGHER GVWR....but only a 100 pound higher payload. That means the 150 is actually heavier...for sure.
You are not providing good information. Ford f150 701a is not the heigh trime level. You need to compare 703a, which is a limited edition. You better study more
Haven’t driven a new Ford, but the RAM Limited with the 22” wheels and the Hemi drives and handles extremely well. I was shocked how nice the ride was.
I hate chrome. It is beyond antiquated and dangerous as a pollutant. It was cool back in the 1970s, but they figured out how bad plating is, so they went to spray, and that is tacky and cheap. For my money I want quality.
That headlight is special on the Ford. 👌
I love the giant RAM on the tailgate.
RAM always wins the interior! 🙌👌👏👏👏
It's like a Kia. Looks good but not as good quality. It's all about initial looks

Yup, tons of decontenting. They took a ton of things away but raised prices.
@hellkitty1014 That's how it goes. I hate it but they know people will still buy them unfortunately.
Crazy how wheel well liners dont come standard.
Good job on the video! I’ve watched them all and yours is up there with the best of them.
Ram boxes FTW!!!!! And a power outlet.
Ford all day because of the hybrid engine and the 7.2kw generator. That generator gives you so many options on the job site or for camping.
They should keep the chrome standard. It's more traditional for the limited model and I think the chrome is better.
The clothe accents in the ram seats will hold you better.
And wear less.

Make column shifters great again. Gain alot of center console space.
I’d much rather have a center shifter than a dial shifter. I could care less about the space. But a column shifter is definitely my favorite

Always RAM 😍
Great comparison !!
I listened to it multiple times...
WTF does it mean he hopes the fuel infection "sprays the intake and exhaust valve"??
Both are better than any chevy😊

If you work at a Chrysler dealer then you would know that the hurricane engine has been out for years.
Dealerships are privately owned and not all are created equal. I'm not going to stop buying Snickers because I hate the guy at the 7-11 counter.

I love my RAM LIMITED! The RAM interior is way nicer.
tough call, for which service lobby you want to hang out in more? LOL J/K man..very informative and appreciated.
Chrome on a truck looks much better.
540 grocery getting horsepower 😆
If you live in the rust belt the Alumiduty...

At that price range and no 360 is wild. Ram is definitely stingy and can’t sell at that price point. No liner either 😂
Iam.missing something what is the purpose of a tilt headrest ?

Ram needs some serious de-chroming and modernizing
So disappointed that you can't get a V8 in either of these trucks or trims
Ford comes with cheap Hankook tires..
All that money Ram put into developing a I6 turbo and it still only gets 15 mpg in the city. Might as well have kept the hemi
You mean 15 mpg
@@Reshard834yea I meant mpg.
Ummm....I think its good trade for 540HP!

Too many recalls on Ford. Might as well over pay for a Ram in 2024/2025
F150 is going down! Ram much better truck for sure
🤣😂🤣😂🤣😂
Nope. Not at all. Ford is better truck
@@Reshard834 in what way F150 is better?

The Ford kills the Ram in fuel economy. The hurricane is worse on fuel than the old Hemi the F150 looks so much nicer
Ford
Way too expensive to look like 2015 models smh
Chrome🤢
