Wonderfully educational video, thank you for the care craftsmanship you put into this with the latest research - so much has changed in the publications of the last 5 years. Would you please do a video that details more of the transition from hunting and gathering to dwellings to domesticated grain civilizations? Thank you!
Humanity's time on this planet will hardly be a blip in the history of Earth; a footnote in the long list of mass extinctions. Sadly we are probably the only beings who knew it was coming, yet we continue the death march.
@@EugeneLopez-y6v all they cared about was surviving. Not making life better. If you always had a predator chasing you around every single second of the day. It’s pretty difficult.
Awesome video. We may not survive but our planet will. It is destined one way or another to go on for another few billion years. Even if we cleaned up our act, we cannot last as a species on this planet forever as the planet is governed by the sun and it's life expectancy.
I much prefer this kind of content rather than the speculative and sometimes outlandish theory’s they show here. Love just getting on to learn shit you know?
Hello! Your videos are always amazing, and I had an idea that might make them even more captivating. How about creating a video that begins from the viewpoint of our Milky Way Galaxy? Exploring the universe from this starting point would help us appreciate the grandeur of space beyond our own solar system. Starting from Earth is common, but by beginning with our galaxy, you could show just how unique and awe-inspiring the Milky Way truly is. It's a perspective that can open our minds to the vastness of the cosmos. I can't wait to see what wonders you'd uncover from this cosmic standpoint!
every video you put out somehow outdoes the previous one. love your channel, and appreciate your time, research, knowledge and dedication to the quality of your content👍👍👍👍👍
No, humans werent around then, the earth looked similar to how it does today when aboriginals crossed into Australia via land bridges around 50,000 years ago, the Australian landmass broke off millions of years before that
Very well done overview of a VERY long period of time. Very interesting to learn how many animal species have come and gone, done in by changes in climate that wipe out whole ecosystems or occasional catastrophic events. Then there's the occasional species that's largely unchanged over hundreds of millions of years, like sponges and the horseshoe crab.
Absolutely love the visuals and commentary, but the music makes it hard to hear the commentary and it gets overwhelming, for next time. 🤙🏻 great content nonetheless
Hey back to Australia. What happens now that the natives are no longer allowed to do historical Burns? Oh Australia is now faced with massive wildfires. Because natives are no longer allowed to do there historical seasonal Burns.
The narrator talks SO FAST!!! (Slowed the playback speed down a notch!) 🤯 Also, the narrators accent flips from an upper class English, to occasional Aussie, to a hint of American!!! Is it a robotic voice??? 😂😂😂
It's a scientific theory, not the colloquial definition of a theory. Scientific theories are the highest degree of current understanding of a given subject. Electromagnetism is also a theory, but we've got it pretty well nailed down. Science prevails.
I would like to know why creatures stopped coming back onto land or venture back to the sea.its like everything just stopped and no further life as tried to evolve.😮
Hello- I would like to know the title of the book used/supported of the documentary. I am doing post Ph.D. research an found to time table very useful for easy reference
Science is often best guess, no one knows for sure unless you were there to witness it. I doubt you were around at that time and lived long enough to tell us exactly what happened.
The description states that this video was posted "6 months ago". That suggests May 2023, yet it's still relying upon the disproven "Out of Africa" theory. Why?
Watched Kyle Hill's video about science spam and I'm having second thoughts about this channel. I've been subbed for so long but I don't know anymore. Do a face reveal sometime?
Great content! Just one minor correction... The Appalachian mountains are not a recent mountain range. They're far older than stated here at the 1:03 minute mark.
pick slower tempo music for your accompaniment in the future. The human nervous system can not handle 90 minutes of the same intense repetitive background. It sounds like a forced march tune played until you are brainless.
Hi, everyone! Enjoy the viewing!
THANK YOU
I love these type of documentaries. You must have really worked hard on this.
I love how you used the outer worlds soundtrack
Fantástico
I always enjoy your videos
I like how he says "your species" like he's not of this world 😎
Lol he's not 😅

Yes, because he's an AI
What do you mean, "your species?" 🤣

Excellent video. We're being transported back in time exploring what the earth was like so many eons ago.

I agree with you 100%. We see it coming doing a little way too late. Our own demise. 😮
Yep we see it coming and could be the only ones able to fix it but probably won't.
i dont agree with u
@davidsmith-uw2ci yeah, like we're gonna stop the sun from becoming a red giant, gobbling the solar system, and going super nova.
Dude I thought this video was an actual PBS documentary for a minute amazing v8deo
An hour and a half?! *straps in*
It’s crazy to think humans would need to be on earth for another 100,000,000+ years just to match the time dinosaurs were on earth
Almost 180.000.000 years even
What's crazy to think about. Is how did dinos NOT gain intelligence like us??

Close enough based on the fossil record and DNA.
There's extremely good evidence for almost all of this stuff. It's called science.
