Planning on researching and exploring using Midjourney in my jewellery studies, fairly exciting tool! Photobashing and combining with your own designs seems to be the way to go for now for me at least.
It depends on the complexity. Most of time your will need to redesign those images first to be productionable and to build the 3D model parts by parts.
Thank you for sharing this - it is excellent to get such updates about new plug-ins and new technologies. I have not tried it, but I think its s a good tool for inspiration. After all, we all google various sites for images that can inspire us.
Can you do more fancy cut designs please you have great tutorials but no ones on marquee or pear shape heads I need help with those a marquee head and set would be greatly appreciated thank you pj !!
I've been using this since the day I could access an AI API :) I am a bit stuck on the best process to turn the art into real objects though when using Blender. Really looking forward to your tutorial dude ^_^
I think AI will take over a lot of creative industry, but instead of rejecting it, I prefer adapt it. I am glad you have been using it already. Great if we can see some of your work!
@@PJChenJewelryDesign I think that's the best mindset for this type of AI. A lot of creatives are not happy about it but they need to understand that it is here now, a useful tool and not going away. You have to adapt or get left behind, that's the nature of evolution.
Amicalement Vincent
sometime it is hard to keep up with technology, but always nice to know them and get familiar with them. You never know maybe one day it will become useful!
I have mixed feeling about the whole thing, but I've been thinking I should try some jewelry designs with AI. So far I have just used it to make pictures of Boston terriers in the style of different artists. I've used Dall-E 2 and Stable Diffusion, haven't tried Midjourney yet cause I didn't want to deal with Discord.
That is great you have use Dall-E and adopt the AI. My personal thinking is if we cannot avoid technology, why not adopt it. It may bring in some supprise outcomes.
@@PJChenJewelryDesign Yes, it's here and I cannot stop it, so I'll use it. That is also why I am using/learning CAD, to make money. But when I first went into the jewelry industry CAD wasn't so popular and I had no interest in using computers to make things. 20+ years ago at my first job, before my boss started using Matrix, most of the work I was doing was wax carving which I really liked much more than sitting at the computer.

You are welcome Vicky!
Thank you so much for the great video. I want to know how to make an image similar to that image when the buyer sends the reference image.

哈喽PJ您好,请问一下电脑建模设计出来的戒指,除了3D打印3D喷蜡;CNC机床;还有什么其他方式可以实现用电脑设计的模吗
CNC and 3D printing are the two the most prototyping methods in jewelry industry so far.

I’ve been trying to do this with Dall-E and been getting some pretty surprising results
I heard about Dall-E and will try it next time. Maybe you can share some of your findings
Thanks!
