While my kids and I were on vacation in Greater Los Angeles this summer, I took them to East Los Angeles to get an education in Hispanic culture. We drove by several different murals in East LA and when we could, would stop and ask what the mural represented. The murals were similarly described as depictions of faith, family, love, and sadly memorials to lost loved ones. I taught my children that life doesn’t see color, and the beautiful residents of East LA further taught us to love your God and family as much as you can while living this life, because tomorrow is never promised.
@@Maaaattologyyyy wow! I don't recall asking your advice. And how do you know whether I was packing or not? Anyhow, you can kindly mind your own business!
Hispanic?? ... ok European person ,Damn Nopal Here's some more "education"..Mexican/ Mexican -American /Chicano Mexican Tribe / Native - Indigenous ! . . . 😶
As you can see there are no homeless encampments, or homeless. Growing up in the hood is something everyone should experience. I love my Chicano and Hispanic culture. I bet the smell of delicious food was coming out of those homes. God Bless you all in 2022.
I depends greatly on the individual/homeowner. You HAVE to be a "people person" because if you think you can isolate yourself in your home and not interact with all the noise outside, you will go crazy. These neighborhoods are VERY active and noisy! The neighbors will be totally into your shit...
@@kendallevans4079 I take it you had a bad experience. That's how it is in the hood, not sure if having a bunch of Karen's living next to you is pleasant either. To each his own I guess.
@@kendallevans4079 That could be considered racist, If you don't like it you don't have to be there. I have great memories growing up in a neighborhood like this one, and my grandfather lived in East Los Angeles. Your comment is way out of line.
@@truth4grace580 Racist? I have great memories of growing up in S. CA since 1957 also....E. LA was peaceful then. Don't give me a load of "woke" BS about Hispanic crime...I have to deal with it every "pinche" day!
Awesome and thank you ! At the beginning of the video you walked right past my grandmas house where my mother was raised back in the 50s , and I would go there as a kid in the 70s. Its the 2nd little house from the corner of Hicks and Michigan. On the corner, that building was a corner store owned by a Korean family where we would buy groceries and candy! Thanks for the cool video!
it looks here in the phillipines the difference is east la every houses has a car..while us only rich has a car..poor people like me riding a public vehicles
I've always wanted to live some were like this somthing different a new life as UK ENGLAND is a horrible place to live.... Love this the video what kind of camera are you using... Is it. Go pro or mobile phone kerp up the good work daz UK England 🙏🏽👌👌👌💯💯💯🇬🇧
Looks like a nice neighborhood with family that probably watches out for each and helps a neighbor just for the sake of helping. I bet if I would visit would be welcomed because a friendly hello and simple respect goes a long way this is how I was taught by my parents you treat everyone just like you would like to be treated.
The sad part is they're fighting with gentrification in Boyle Heights East L.A. They're trying to make it like echo park, silver lake, Highland Park. Hipster.
You can tell it's a liberal neighborhood , parking in a no parking zone . Parking next to a stop sign , on and on . Looks like drug king pin lady Blanco's old neighborhood . No street walkers out yet . Go figure !

Bullets don't see color. A lot of shootings around there. They dont aim. Not a good place to take children

It looks like a quiet area. Many owners take pride in their homes. Made me wish we had ice cream trucks here.
I grow up as a kid in East l.A back in the day from 70,80.

This place looks like a low end neighborhood and literal ghost town
