"Adoration" - A deep expression of love, reverence, and devotion. A sense of awe and admiration, recognizing the greatness, holiness, and worthiness of the Father. Prayer and Worship. Praise, contemplation, and surrender.
Lately, I've been reading about King David in the book of Samuel and about how messed up David was. He sent Uriah into war to die just so he could commit adultery with Bathsheba (Uriah's wife) and he was a failing father, his own son tried to kill him. but the thing about King David was that every time he messed up, he wouldn't run away from the father, he would run back to the Father because he knew the Father actually liked him and loved him. god says that David was a man after God's own heart.
I can't count how many times I've messed up and tried to hid from God out of shame. Even in my smallest mistakes, I've felt like He was disappointed in me. But that's not the truth. The Father was always waiting for me to come back home, loving me even when I pulled away. king David reminds me that we all fall short, but we are always called back into the Father.
I've often struggled to pray and worship, but the gift of music speaks words my heart can't find. Music is where I pray, where I express my love for God, where I surrender.
Prayer is one of the greatest gifts god has given us; a direct line to His heart. It's where I've found comfort in chaos, strength in weakness, and peace beyond understanding. this Prayer Set is a reflection for all of those moments, a space to quiet the noise and draw near to Him. My prayer is that this music of Adoration reminds you of His presence, his love, and the beautiful gift of communion with him.
