When Comedy Central finished airing "Meanwhile" it jumped right to the very first episode of the show. No commercial's or anything. The show is perfectly circular.

I'm sad futurama ended, but you know it's a good thing, 140 episodes, great all around, lots of humor, ended on a high note, didnt over stay its welcome. And like the final ending, it basically causes an infinite loop
2:55 i really think this is one of the best romantic scenes i have ever seen. it explains a whole life story between two characters without any dialogue, or visuals. simple expressions explains their entire life together. absolutely genius writing.
Truly a beautiful ending. The world needs more shows to have happy endings, or at least bittersweet endings. I just remember the darkest moment in this show was just Fry’s dog waiting his life out for him to come home. That's what I really liked about the Scrubs ending, too (there is no 9th season). It's just this wonderful looping back and going through all those emotions and characters we loved and just ends on a precious note. No drama or craziness or mass death, just all the loose ends tied up and finished.

If I could pick a favorite 'Futurama' finale, it would have to be "The Devil's Hands are Idle Playthings" and "Meanwhile". Both of them are so wonderfully done, and each of them were the best endings to the show itself.

First time I saw meanwhile. Me: this is not exactly what I expected, pretty average. Leela: it was a good life Fry: kinda lonely? Leela: I was never lonely, not even for a minute. Me: immediately starts crying
As an enthusiast, it's amazing to me that they wrote not 1, but 4 different ending episodes all perfectly fit for the show as it stood that season, all 4 grab your heart strings and give them a big old tug, and not a one cheapens any of the others. That takes some incredible writing skill. Truly a show that deserves to be archived and seen for generations (and barring Disney going crazy, it will be).
I find that seriously annoying considering the Simpsons-Futurama crossover had the tagline something like “a show running out of episodes and a show running out of ideas”

When Nibbler gives Fry the choice to stay in the past or go the future, Fry mentions Leela. Nibbler responds thoughtfully, “Leela? She must be the other.” Thus indicating that Leela also helps Fry save the universe. Granted, she did have a hand in saving earth in “The Day the Earth Stood Stupid” but given the weight of the statement and how many times Fry helped save the universe, there had to have been more to Leela’s role.

Futurama transformed my life. I watched this show from when the first episode aired all the way until the last. It’s one of the best shows to exist. Disenchantment is extremely good too, and is starting to be up there for me like this one. I enjoyed simpsons more as a kid, but I don’t think I’ve seen a single episode in almost a decade.
The last ending is true ending, it's hinting at that it's the Las episode of the season and there won't be anymore, and you the viewer decides to watch it all over again.
I love that each ending kinda appeals to different sort of audience. I most like the third one now, when I am settled and happy after 12 years of being with the same person. The first one reminds me of how hard I tried to get her but then a simple act of true love showed her my intentions, while the second is for the inner nerd in me and I guess the last one only really awaits for when we are frozen in time, living in the moment of one gone youth where that spark hit us both.

In the grand scheme of things they’re already trapped in a loop. We already know from the forward time travel episode that when the universe ends, it’ll just reset and make perfect copies of everything/everyone with history perfectly repeating (the only difference being some measurements).
I watched this show since childhood. It's full of slapstick humor, good quotes, and had plenty of emotional moments that blended in well with the show.
I guess it’s because Leela and Fry finally find out their fate together and how their lives are going to pan out, but it’s good because it doesn’t tell you what it says, so you can make up your own interpretations.

This is one of my all time favorite TV show, not only animated but in general, and they have hard hardly any bad episodes. All the endings were banger and a very nice closure for the series at each cancellation point.

As much as I love all these endings, I think the second one is my favorite. Something about the callback to the opening theme and the fact that, as much as I love Fry and Leela together, that was a proper finale for the whole cast made it extra special. Also, on the outside chance that anyone who's working on the Hulu episodes sees this, no pressure or anything, but....don't let us down.

The "You wanna go around again" is one of the best ways to end a series ever and is the only reason im okay with Futurama coming back because it legit makes sense.

Technically, no. All overrated and underrated are are opinions (I think this is too popular/I don’t think this is popular enough). If toy want all 7 billion people on earth to be madly in love with Futurama, than its underrated.

we're living in a time where people don't know how to make endings and don't want to (because of cashcows), and here we have Matt Groening with four.
What a display. Futurama is easily top 3 best show ever.
Perfect show. “What do you say, wanna go around again?” The day this aired they played the very first episode right after almost like the Professor really did just reset everything. Cancelled 3 different times… and still coming back baby!
I'm sure they going to bring back this show.
Meanwhile makes me cry every time, such a good show. Disenchanted is also amazing, matt groening is great
I love the idea of the series going in a loop but technically the professor said they'll end up just before he made the time button, not back to the pilot episode
At least it's not all the way back to "day one" of Fry's time in the future.

Seems like the main point in every ending is to get Leela and Fry together.
This show has always nurtured my emotions so mysteriously.
The "You wanna go around again" is one of the best ways to end a series ever and is the only reason im okay with Futurama coming back because it legit makes sense.
Can't wait to see the fifth ending.
While so many other shows struggle to come up with a decent ending, Futurama knocked it out of the park four times.
I don't think any fiction ever came close to what Futurama made and still makes me feel. I cried two times during this. Mental.

They way how futuramas 4th ending i think the revival will begin them remembering the day he invented the time button but everyone else that were frozen will forget everything that happen
