I've been in such a bad depression, I discovered your channel months ago....but today I spent all day binging your videos. I've watched almost 10hrs worth hahahah I know that's crazy. (this is how i'm spending my college break) But Thank you so much! Your videos have put me in such a good mood. Seeing the world through someone else's eyes is great. Your videos are so positive! How do you do it?
Aw I’m so happy to hear I was able to cheer you up☺️ I have crappy days too, I try to keep positive for my videos though because I like to put you guys in a good mood❤️
Exactly, for that price I was more than game. I would be completely fine with it. I mean the space actually has more than I would expect for that low of a price, but that bathroom is a NOPE for me. It isn't the small space mind you. I can deal with a tiny bathroom with the toilet crowded in. But, the floor and wall edges had that "peel back the layers and see 40 years of mold/water damage underneath" look. I've watched way too many home improvement and renovation shows over the years. Mold and water damage actually scares me at this point. I have particulate allergies that are bothered specifically by mold; so, maybe I'm just paranoid though.
I’m 6’6” and also bulky so I’m fairly certain I would get stuck in that bathroom and now I can’t help but imagine the embarrassing rescue mission that would most likely occur in that situation. (A giant American stuck in a Japanese bathroom screaming for help😂😂).....The rest of the place wouldn’t be too bad if I didn’t have so much stuff. 😊
cydd I’m not sure but I’ve seen them in a few other apartments but it always surprises me when I see them... because I just think of how it would be actually using it! Maybe it’s older style houses in japan and Korea? Never been to korea yet though 😊
For under $40 a night, in the middle of crowded Tokyo...can't argue with that. That's quite the deal. Better than the capsules hotels IMO. Looks useful for people like the overworked salaryman, who work more often than they're at home, and only use it to sleep. I'd love to have that wallpaper my own home too.
That’s actually perfect for me. I don’t like having a lot of space. The smaller the cozier for me. Not having a lot of space helps me with my bad spending habit and you’d have to get creative with things, which I like.
Greg's faces when he sees Sharla's apartment. 🤣🤣🤣 I could stay in that place (although not live there) until I saw the bathroom. I think I'm bigger than the bathroom.
If you watch Tokidoki Traveller, her apartment a year ago was only 8 sq m. So tiny but good for just one person who isn’t in their apartment a whole lot.
"Hot water making pot"...aka kettle? That made me laugh XD as someone who has to speak a foreign language everyday (I'm currently not living in my home country) I have those kinds of brainfarts way too often.
We lived in Japan 5 years ( my 8 siblings and me) my dad was a military pilot. I absolutely loved Japan. Of all the countries we lived in Japan was my favorite. I can still smell the hay smell of the floor. Loved it.
Olivia Collins I'm am industrial radiographer. I basically xray welds that join two pieces of pipe together and then develop the film and determine if the weld is within the gas or oil companies code standards. We also do other forms of testing. We travel but not to anywhere that's worth noting.
I have actually seen one smaller in Germany! I forget the hotel name, but it was very similar to this. Toilet and shower combo in one very tiny (what should have been) closet. It was all brand new and sleek and clean, but so super tiny. Itty, bitty sink next to the toilet and there was a sliding door to keep (barely) the floor and toilet dry. Didn't really work, haha. Not for claustrophobics. Barely enough room to turn around, literally. This little apartment you were staying at is adorable =).
We did air bnb for the whole time we were there. For over 2 weeks we paid $1200 Australian. We were in the heart of Shinjuku for all of it and when we were in Kyoto we were in a nice area. It was the best!
I wouldn't mind, since it's about the size of my room, but my biggest struggle would be the small fridge for sure! I cook a lot too and that fridge was an adorable insult lol xD
I would be able to do it. I don't need much room for myself... And in regards to the tatami and bathroom, I'd probably put a soft bath mat or even a towel on the tatami in front of the door so I could leave the bathroom slippers there so they don't get wet nor would they touch the tatami That would be the best thing I could think to do.
I'm staying in a very similar Airbnb in Seoul right now! Mine was $16/night and it's near Konkuk Uni & Children's Grand Park. It's a tiny bit bigger overall... it's got a full size fridge (albeit on the smaller end of full size), a washing machine, and 2 gas burners. The bathroom is small, but it's about 2 or 2.5 times as big as yours 😅 And it's Korea in January, which means the floors are nice and toasty.
Павел Момент I think I remembered the rate wrong, cuz when I checked the link, it's actually $22/night! Sorry about that😅😅 I'm moving to another airbnb in a couple days that sleeps six ppl cuz some friends are joining me, and THAT airbnb was $16 PER PERSON per night. I got them mixed up😥 Anyways here's the listing for the little one I'm staying in right now! www.airbnb.com/rooms/5791766
I'd be okay, because It's almost like a shower that just goes straight to the bedroom if you open the door, and I usually don't stay in the bathroom after a shower anyways
Ahhh this would be so perfect when staying in Tokyo! Thank you for showing us around! ♥ I will definitely consider airbnb when travelling to Japan. Happy new week! XOXO
What a great steal in the middle of Tokyo! Love AirBNB! And I'm all about that tatami flooring. Thanks for the tour Sharla!!! I hope your video shoot with the Canadian gov't went well. ^^
Okay, first of all, Greg is AWESOME. His reaction was about what I was expecting (I may have a bit of a bias towards people named Greg, though, because my boyfriend's name is Greg, too 😂 ). I really, really love apartment tours, especially ones that show something cool or quirky, and that bathroom fits the bill perfectly.
I stayed in this area when I was there with my husband and kid during the dec holidays. Nice quiet neighbourhood. The apartment we stayed in had a wardrobe, balcony, separated bathroom/toilet, slightly bigger than this one.
I once spent a few days in a tiny one bedroom apartment when I was on holiday in Japan. Was slightly bigger than this one, was staying with a friend while travelling with friends. We managed to fit four people in it. It was actually a really fun time.
NegraBenditaTravels lol please do! But I do wonder how people would react to sitting on a wet toilet. It would feel like I sat on someone’s pee maybe hahahahaha 🤮
I'm actually in love with this apartment. For the price, location and how clean it is, I would definitely love to stay there. It is really small, but I could get used to it.
I love this? This is about the size of my bedroom now, and I hardly ever leave, so having everything I need to be content in one place would actually be lovely.
I relate so much when sharla said "hot water making pot" (aka a kettle) because when you're filming on the go, without a script, sometimes your brain forgets the easiest words.
My boyfriend and I are currently saving money for japan. We were so surprised to see air nbn was cheaper than hotels by far! That's a very good thing to know :) We hope we can go for spring 2019 ^^
AirBnb in general is a great place to find cheaper places to sleep. Most of the hotels are expensive a.f. and Airbnb is surprisingly cheap. We got our Airbnb appartment in 4min walking distance to Ueno Station and about 30-35m² for just 43€ per night (price is for the appartment, not per person). Also we got a fairly big kitchen with an fullsize fridge etc.
I think it's perfect for a short stay. You don't have a lot space to tend to, it's in the middle fo the city. The make-shift toilet/shower combo makes me think that it was separeted off of a larger space. It reminds me of mini apartments parents make for their teenage kids in the basement or above the garage.
If the wallpaper wasn’t there I think I would feel claustrophobic with having two really bright red walls. I could see living there if I was just by myself and studying at university or something where you would spend most of your time outside of your place.
The room itself is fine even with the tiny kitchen. That bathroom though is WAAAAAAAAAAYYYYYYYYYYYYY too tiny . I’d only be able to fit my left thigh in there 😂😜
I've stayed in 2 Airbnb apartments in Tokyo so far. One of the issues I've had is that many of the hosts do not get official permission, neither from the government nor from the other tenants. Last time that resulted in the apartment building actually having a sign at the entrance stating: "Airbnb and couch surfing are illegal in this building" (albeit hung up by the residents, not by the landlord). Knowing how to behave in Japan can be an advantage though, so I ended up not having any problems with the other inhabitants during the four weeks I was staying there, but met one other Airbnb traveller who ended up being shouted at a couple of times. The only other thing I learned the hard way to watch out for is a decent internet connection, as many offer “free mobile internet” that is limited to 3GB per month, which is a lot less than one might think, in particular if you also have some work to do on your laptop.
Yess I would so be able to live in an apartment like that for a few days or so. I use a shower chair for showering so being able to sit on the toilet would be perfect! Looks super cozy in there as well and it has everything you need!
AirBnB is awesome! That was our accommodation about 99% of our six month trip. And I really, REALLY miss the smell of tatami! Yeah, I guess the closest I could describe it is hay, but it smells so much...fresher. I can't describe it exactly. I would say the smallest place we stayed in was just about that size in northern Osaka.
Based on my experiences since I'm living in the Philippines, bathrooms are often the same here...a small room, basically a shower cabin with a toilet in the middle. :D The toilet paper and towels have to be stored outside .
Girllll Ive looked at apartments that size that are changing 600-700$. After looking at what feels like a million places, when you showed this i was like “eh thats not bad” LOL. Oh how tokyo changes you. I also stayed in an air bnb last month a little east of there for 36$ a night . It was smaller in the living space but had a full tub in the bathroom which was a great trade off!
Somewhere, way back she had a tour of what I recall was her second place, just before moving out (The one with the odd washer/tub unit). It appeared to be only about twice this size, with a small entry space. So, even though this is extremely small, she has been close to it previously. I will say that it feels like if you do the math, She has been in a new place every 2 years... wow, there is no way I could keep doing that!
I like it! I could definitely live there. I dormed in American university and I would do everything in my dorm: hang out, study, eat, sleep. I spent more time in my dorm than out. Our rooms didn't have kitchens and there was no shared dorm kitchen either so I would literally have to use my bed as counter space while I tried to cook using just a microwave and kettle. I could definitely do this! If I didn't have to worry about the tatami getting wet I would get some type of small mat to put down and walk on during the day, but I could just wipe down the toilet and floor with a towel after showering too.
Before going to college, I definitely couldn’t manage something so small!! But now, my dorm is about that same size and doesn’t even have any kitchen whatsoever, so having even that one burner is nice! So I would probably be totally fine living there now haha!
I could deal with staying in such a tiny space for a short time, but the lack of storage and an oven would drive me nuts. But the biggest issue would be the bathroom - I have a stupid phobia of toilets (and plumbing in general, but toilets freak me tfo 😱), so there'd be no way I could do it if the WC was set up like that😄
Tiny spaces are so nice, I live in a 26 mts apartment and I think is too big, but I can't stand tiny bathrooms, I hate mine, even when it has a full sink and a tube, so I specially hated that toilet/shower which can't be called a bathroom, it didn't have a proper shower, and it was full of mold, you are so brave, I will not be able to survive that thing xD
I’m a over the road trucker who lives in his truck...no stove fridge bathroom, entire inside space is about eight foot by eight foot but the non driving area, the sleeper, is about four foot by eight foot composed mostly of cabinets and a set of bunk beds. With the curtains closed so no one can see in the area in the sleeper where you can stand is about two foot by three foot...with an occasional stop at my favorite jacuzzi bath hotel, I spend about twenty hours a day in my truck, about half up front driving or watching youtube videos on my phone.
was not expecting it to be SO TINY! when you turned around and that was basically it 😯 it’s literally one room. But it’s actually quite cute 😊 though I wouldn’t be able to stay there long-term.
The Airbnbs I stayed at in Tokyo and Osaka were at least 5 times that size. lol Of course were had 5 people in our group. The biggest one was actually just a few blocks from Shinjuku station, so maybe it was near there.
Girl the way your coat was on that hook....I laughed every time the camera passed it....it looked like someone was standing facing the corner. #coatonpunishment 😂😂😂
OMGGGGG I can't believe how small the toilet/shower is!!!! that's crazy!!!! that would bother me the most!!!! you literally shower on the toilet ahah! its normal in Japan for shower/toilet to be in the same room, I know that lol BUT THAT SIZE IS CRAAAAZY! MY TOKYO APARTMENT has a separate toilet/bathroom. I couldn't do it another way haha! XD
Staying in Airbnb places for 75% of my next trip to Japan this spring. Three months, most places $20-50 a night in Asakusa, Shinjuku, Ginza, Kichijoji and Kamakura. Best and least expensive way to stay. I do say the places I’ve reserved are a lot bigger than that one! Only place I’ve seen a combo bathroom that small ... on a cruise ship 🚢 lol
I think the apartment I stayed in when I visited Japan for 3 weeks was this small!! 😭💕 though I managed fine & there was 2 of us in there sometimes 4 for dinner! XD small but somewhere to sleep & store stuff making my stay in japan super affordable!! ♡
I'd feel so claustrophobic in there! I feel claustrophobic just looking at it on the screen. Especially if it's one apartment in one of those big buildings 😰
yeah it’s more bearable to think of it like a dorm room! I’m pretty sure the dorm rooms at my uni are abt the same size actually and they don’t come with personal bathrooms (only communal).
*Every time you pan over to your jacket hanging in the corner, I get a flashback of the final scene of Blair Witch Project and sh*t myself ...(cute airbnb, btw)*
*steps through the front door* Aaaaaand tour over
ScuubaSteefe 😹
The guys face when he took a look around.
🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥😅
Gregs feeble "ohhhhh noooooo" when seeing the bathroom cracked me up
Hahahaha ikr
Lol 😂 I did that haha!
Ethan S lol I don’t even notice these reactions or me doing them hahahahah 😂
Ethan S lol of course!!!! 😊
You don't need to notice these things, you be you because that's what people love!
I have never appreciated my "small" bathroom as much as I do right now. That thing looks like an airplane bathroom, even the doors are airplane style.
As long as functional and clean....and cheap.
"Hook to hang my jacket" no dear Thats a screw. A random screw to hold your jacket 😂
Shhhhh with a little imagination it can be a coat hook😂
Lol
WhiteHawktriple7 Lmfao! Glad I wasn't the only one to notice this. 😂😂😂
"hot water making pot" that is what you would call a kettle 😂😂😂
Kat is a saltymelon When I heard her say that I was trying so hard not to laugh! Oh Sharla 🙈
Haha right?! That had me cracking up.
Haha, yeah! Noticed this too... poor Sharla. It happens when you know a few languages. :)
Zue that's true! Guess it's easy to forget the real translations 😊
I also cracked up, and again when I saw someone else mention it XD
I've been in such a bad depression, I discovered your channel months ago....but today I spent all day binging your videos. I've watched almost 10hrs worth hahahah I know that's crazy. (this is how i'm spending my college break) But Thank you so much! Your videos have put me in such a good mood. Seeing the world through someone else's eyes is great. Your videos are so positive! How do you do it?
Aw I’m so happy to hear I was able to cheer you up☺️ I have crappy days too, I try to keep positive for my videos though because I like to put you guys in a good mood❤️
It didn’t seem that bad until I saw the bathroom... 😳
Madison Nielsen
I was the same lol. Liked everything until I saw the bathroom.
Exactly, for that price I was more than game. I would be completely fine with it. I mean the space actually has more than I would expect for that low of a price, but that bathroom is a NOPE for me. It isn't the small space mind you. I can deal with a tiny bathroom with the toilet crowded in. Mold and water damage actually scares me at this point. I have particulate allergies that are bothered specifically by mold; so, maybe I'm just paranoid though.
Same
I’m 6’6” and also bulky so I’m fairly certain I would get stuck in that bathroom and now I can’t help but imagine the embarrassing rescue mission that would most likely occur in that situation. (A giant American stuck in a Japanese bathroom screaming for help😂😂).....The rest of the place wouldn’t be too bad if I didn’t have so much stuff. 😊
Jordan B. 😂 that would be so funny
Omg 😂
I can’t tell you how hilarious your comment is 😂 you’ve made my day. X
I'm 6'0 and bulky myself so I can relate to the fear of that kind of scenario... Its hilarious to think about, though. XD
I'm now deceased. 😂😂😂
I still can’t get over that toilet/shower combo set.... I don’t think I could do it hahaha. Sitting on a wet toilet would feel so uncomfortable lol 😂
Hello!!!!! 😊
cydd I’m not sure but I’ve seen them in a few other apartments but it always surprises me when I see them... because I just think of how it would be actually using it! Maybe it’s older style houses in japan and Korea? Never been to korea yet though 😊
Greg, can we please get a house tour of your place?
JJ Quan haha I made one last year actually hehe 😜 ! It’s one of my very first videos from when I came back to japan ^_^
Sorry, I'm a relatively new subscriber to you! I'll go back and look for it! Thanks!
at first i thought that winter jacket was keyboard-san standing still facing the wall 😂 i was like “what the heck”
😂😂😂
Syamimi Amin i got scared and looked over my shoulder...
Keyboard-San starring in the next Blair Witch Project hahaha
Yup it totally creep me out
Lol me too
For under $40 a night, in the middle of crowded Tokyo...can't argue with that. That's quite the deal. Better than the capsules hotels IMO. Looks useful for people like the overworked salaryman, who work more often than they're at home, and only use it to sleep.
I'd love to have that wallpaper my own home too.
Definitely! Ever since discovering AirBnB I’ve never stayed in a hotel in Tokyo, they’re so much better, even the small ones!😊
Aw, what's 'better' about it? I've stayed in AirBnBs in my own country, but for bigger foreign cities I don't know if I'd be okay with that.
That’s actually perfect for me. I don’t like having a lot of space. The smaller the cozier for me. Not having a lot of space helps me with my bad spending habit and you’d have to get creative with things, which I like.
Luna Wolf Soooo...a straightjacket would be perfect for you then! Definitely would be cozy for you. 😂😂😂
Greg's faces when he sees Sharla's apartment. 🤣🤣🤣
I could stay in that place (although not live there) until I saw the bathroom. I think I'm bigger than the bathroom.
Diana Kempter lol 😂 the toilet/shower combo though... I can’t haha 🤣
I would love to stay in an apartment like that. I feel like it would encourage you to go outside more !
If you watch Tokidoki Traveller, her apartment a year ago was only 8 sq m. So tiny but good for just one person who isn’t in their apartment a whole lot.
but hers was spread out and she could sleep "upstairs"
"Hot water making pot"...aka kettle? That made me laugh XD as someone who has to speak a foreign language everyday (I'm currently not living in my home country) I have those kinds of brainfarts way too often.
Caoba Draconis Me too! That definitely made me laugh!
Same here. You want to say something and the right word just... PPPPPFFFFFFFFFFFFFF
I’m fine with the limited kitchen, but I can’t survive the bathroom. Greg’s reaction to the bathroom is my reaction 😂
Linds Tee lol the wet toilet though haha 😂
That's a pendulum to push eitherside
We lived in Japan 5 years ( my 8 siblings and me) my dad was a military pilot. I absolutely loved Japan. Of all the countries we lived in Japan was my favorite. I can still smell the hay smell of the floor. Loved it.
I travel for my job and I basically live in hotels and just when I think I've seen the smallest bathroom ever I get proven wrong !
I feel like it can’t possibly get much smaller than this😂😅
Haha there's no way!
What do you do?
Olivia Collins I'm am industrial radiographer. I basically xray welds that join two pieces of pipe together and then develop the film and determine if the weld is within the gas or oil companies code standards. We also do other forms of testing. We travel but not to anywhere that's worth noting.

“Hot water making pot” that was the most complicated way of saying “kettle” lol 😂😂
haha that’s what it’s called in Japanese お湯ポット
Ah so you were thinking it in Japanese then having to translate it as you said it.
Yeah I tend to do that with words that I haven’t said in English for while haha
GREG! Not even 10 seconds in and you have me cracking up!! Stop it 🤣😂
Valerie lol but that toilet though... I can’t get over how wet the seat would be lol 😂
I'm staying in a very similar Airbnb in Seoul right now! Mine was $16/night and it's near Konkuk Uni & Children's Grand Park. I got them mixed up😥

Ok Greg’s reaction was priceless!
MultiCrackerjacker haha 😂 so small though lol
I could easily live in an apartment that size. I just could NOT deal with that toilet/shower space. My claustrophobia would kill me.
FD3Freak
Same, I can definitely live there but I can't deal with the bathroom.
I'd be okay, because It's almost like a shower that just goes straight to the bedroom if you open the door, and I usually don't stay in the bathroom after a shower anyways
i would not have guessed doing your makeup was a struggle cuz you look FAB today
i’ll never get over calling a kettle a “hot water making pot”... 😂
Ahhh this would be so perfect when staying in Tokyo! Thank you for showing us around! ♥ I will definitely consider airbnb when travelling to Japan. Happy new week! XOXO
I loved Greg's face so priceless
NAT SATCHEZ haha thanks 😂
"hot water making pot" LMAO, sorry but that's so funny to us in the UK, we just call it a kettle.
love Gregs reaction, hehe
Haha 😂 I couldn’t help it
What a great steal in the middle of Tokyo! Love AirBNB!
And I'm all about that tatami flooring.
Thanks for the tour Sharla!!!
I hope your video shoot with the Canadian gov't went well. ^^

$27 a day x 30 days...$800 if it's rented out for a whole 30 days and the rent guess is $400-$500...not a bad profit. ;)
Greg's face LOL
NegraBenditaTravels haha I can’t with that toilet... 😂
Visually Greg LOL me neither, when I come to Tokyo I'm gonna pay close attention to the bath pics. 😂
NegraBenditaTravels lol please do! But I do wonder how people would react to sitting on a wet toilet. It would feel like I sat on someone’s pee maybe hahahahaha 🤮
Visually Greg Yeah, that's definitely a "no" for me and the fact that bacteria love wet/warm areas. UGHHH 😷
NegraBenditaTravels I didn’t think about that! Touché!!! ^_^
I'm actually in love with this apartment. For the price, location and how clean it is, I would definitely love to stay there. It is really small, but I could get used to it.
That bathroom floor totally grossed me out.
I love this? This is about the size of my bedroom now, and I hardly ever leave, so having everything I need to be content in one place would actually be lovely.
I love Greg and all his faces ! LOL he always makes me laugh !
I relate so much when sharla said "hot water making pot" (aka a kettle) because when you're filming on the go, without a script, sometimes your brain forgets the easiest words.
The tour was bigger than the apartment! I agree that the bathroom would be a showstopper for me.
That wallpaper is cute. I feel like I could live in a room like that, but the bathroom situation makes me rethink about it.
Greg's reaction to the bathroom 😂😂😂
My boyfriend and I are currently saving money for japan. We were so surprised to see air nbn was cheaper than hotels by far! That's a very good thing to know :) We hope we can go for spring 2019 ^^

I'm officially planning a trip to Japan this autumn, and I didn't even THINK of AirBnB!
I’d only be able to fit my left thigh in there 😂😜
True. How would I wash my back if it’s touching the wall? Haha
GREG'S REACTION LEFT ME C R Y I N G. I AM CACKLING SO HARD JEEZ
AmaniHiME lol it was so small though and that restroom was a no haha
Yess I would so be able to live in an apartment like that for a few days or so. I use a shower chair for showering so being able to sit on the toilet would be perfect! Looks super cozy in there as well and it has everything you need!

Why are kettles not called Hot- water making pots? So much better!!!
" a hot water making pot" hahaha how cuuuteee!!!
I would cry if I had to stay in there! So small!!! I love your sweater Sharla!! Where did you get it?
It's cute, I'd go crazy too about the burner😣 and shower, but for a temporary stay, it looks like it had everything that you'd need 😊.
Based on my experiences since I'm living in the Philippines, bathrooms are often the same here...a small room, basically a shower cabin with a toilet in the middle. :D
The toilet paper and towels have to be stored outside .
It's so small & Kawaii! P.S. I love your videos Sharla!!! ^_^
Omg Greg's reactions are the best
Girllll Ive looked at apartments that size that are changing 600-700$. After looking at what feels like a million places, when you showed this i was like “eh thats not bad” LOL. Oh how tokyo changes you. I also stayed in an air bnb last month a little east of there for 36$ a night . It was smaller in the living space but had a full tub in the bathroom which was a great trade off!
Nice, thats exacly what I need when I travel to Tokyo next year!
My first reaction was no way that I could live there, but then I remembered that I lived in a dorm room for 2 years of my life and I made it work
HaliaArtisan ok but did you have to shower sitting down on a wet toilet? 😂
lol no xD but where there's a will there's a way?
Your sweater looks really good Sharla!
I really like that wallpaper!!! it's super cute
The sweater keyboard-san gave you looks so frickin' cute❤❤❤❤❤😍😍😍
love that sweater
The Airbnbs I stayed at in Tokyo and Osaka were at least 5 times that size. lol Of course were had 5 people in our group. The biggest one was actually just a few blocks from Shinjuku station, so maybe it was near there.
I'm so excited to see this Canadian government video, Sharla!!! 😉 I'm in Toronto 🙀🇨🇦
XD
The flooring reminds me of these old roll out thin wooden mats for the beach here in the uk 😂 love it. X
HI SHARLA!!! I love binging your videos :)) 💕
I think the apartment I stayed in when I visited Japan for 3 weeks was this small!! 😭💕 though I managed fine & there was 2 of us in there sometimes 4 for dinner! XD small but somewhere to sleep & store stuff making my stay in japan super affordable!! ♡
That's incredibly tiny! Would be great for a solo trip. When I eventually make it to Japan I'll have to look into airbnb
haha, Greg's expressions are everything
It's the most tiniest room that I've ever seen! How do you manage yourself in that extra tiny bathroom 😱
I'd feel so claustrophobic in there! I feel claustrophobic just looking at it on the screen. Especially if it's one apartment in one of those big buildings 😰
It reminds me of a small RV. It is called a wet shower. You are supposed to be able to wipe water off the toilet, etc.
I legit thought your toilet was a "black hole" type toilet and got very confused. I'm glad you explained where the handle was. :D
I think the hook you used for your jacket is actually for towels so you can reach for it to wipe your feet before stepping on the tatami
yeah it’s more bearable to think of it like a dorm room! I’m pretty sure the dorm rooms at my uni are abt the same size actually and they don’t come with personal bathrooms (only communal).
Love watching! Makes me miss vlogmas!
*Every time you pan over to your jacket hanging in the corner, I get a flashback of the final scene of Blair Witch Project and sh*t myself ...(cute airbnb, btw)*
