Not exactly. You could say we have something in common.😏

What if they expect the candidate to know 14 but purposely include the 15th & 16th to trip one up in the interview?

Or we...ahem...or they also say "copy", "10-4", or less commonly "over (and out)". 📻
    These are great explanations!

      Thank you so much.
I leaned in architecture the goal is as simple as possible a few decades ago 😂
Now sometimes that simple is quite complex still.
But the goal should be as simple as possible or at some point it becomes too complex and completely unmanageable.
I have a lot of experience fixing over complicated architectures.
      Then things ran smoothly.
I’ve Always subscribed to the Occums razor approach. “The simplest solutions is usually the best”

Wow Mike, You have prepared your students for cloud computing architecture career, but what makes you very special is your years of insight and the attention to details. The Amazon principle insights are what separates your students... thanks for the details!

Great insight! I really appreciate your breakdown down of the principles and explaining how to relate these to ones experiences. There are so many gems for me in this video. For example, a leader doesn’t have to just be the leader, demonstrating authenticity and integrity, be obsessed with customer service…..I can now develop and fine tune these principles within my current career as in investment in my future career! The knowledge that you impart is truly transforming. Thank you so much!

I just noticed that most of AWS job requirements suggest candidates should have knowledge of these principles before applying. Thanks Mike.

Thank you for another wonderful video! I could not make the 14 principles relevant to my work, although I still think one or two principles are still contradictory, now I can more or less easily relate and apply them to my work and experiences. Thank you!

“be in the trenches with your team as a family” made me think about how I wouldn’t want my team to ever feel like they can’t talk to me as a leader because that is a very unhealthy/stressful work environment and could hinder us as an organization. Thank you Mike!

Yes. I want my team to speak freely to me.
For their happiness. But also if people are afraid to speak to their manager, imagine all the things the manager won’t know about, which will come back to bite them later.
But mostly I like like a happy environment.
