Hawaii John...Thank you so much for uploading these videos. A couple of years ago I drove with my wife and daughters all around Oahu and had a great time. We went to so many places (of course like so many others do too). Wonderfully and simply, these videos bring it all back. As the passing landscape moves, memories of what we were thinking at the time come back too. I keep seeing bits that I want to check out when I go again. It's kind of obsessive I guess. Cheers anyway!
@aamerican aaron I'm 88 years old. From 1947 until 1953 I used to commute between Kaihi and Waimanalo on days I was not in school to work on the family farm. Before 1947, I remember going to Hanauma Bay or around the island and not to much interested in the fish pond. It is probably because I had two fishponds near where I live in Kalihi Kai.
You help a lot in getting to know the place!!! I watched a few of your videos, you are definitely doing a very nice thing 👌 Thank you for your time ꧁👣꧂....
Here in Hawai'i it's usage is commonly "brah," short for "bruddah." Brother. Sometime in the last twenty years or so it made its way out of Hawai'i and for those people it's "bruh." Drives me nuts, but it is is what it is.
Wow people are so patient in Hawaii then long island or NY we will be honked out for five minutes and given the middle finger and in long island I cant wait to move to Hawaii.
🌴 Aloha!~ Kristopher Chan 🌈 I know for sure what you're talking about. I have lived in Manhattan for 15 years. Honolulu has a lot of traffic during rush hour but is very quiet. 😄 Mahalo for watching!! ^^ 🤙
Again...I'd love to have seen some text on the screen to say which street you were on...for people not familiar with the area...if there's some history to that street say a few words or put text on the video if you don't want to talk.... Looks like LA but CLAEAN...heh...
why are the streets deserted? looks like a ghost city - no one walking dog, going for a stroll on the street. No teenagers playing on front lawns or riding bikes -
Thank you for this wonderful road trip. So relaxing watching it. ❤️ Greetings from Philippines! 🇵🇭
I just found your channel and am in love. I moved to the mainland in April, and seeing familiar sights from my old cycling routes made me ugly cry.
🌴 Aloha!~ Erica Hawkins 🌈 I'm really glad that you liked my video. 😄🌼 Thank you for visiting my channel. 🤞🌺 Mahalo nui loa for watching!! ^^ 🤙
