The Best Hike in WHISTLER You’ve Never Heard Of….

- Today we hiked from the Peak of Whistler Mountain down the High-Note trail to Russet Lake & the Kees and Claire Hut. We followed the musical bumps passing by the Piccolo summit, Flute summit, entering Garibaldi park and climbing over Oboe before arriving at the base of Fissile Peak.
Everyone needs to try this trail. If the non-stop 360 degree Alpine views weren’t enough. Things get even better! You can ride the gondola all the way into the Alpine! If you don’t want to pay for a ticket you can hike this trail in reverse beginning at Singing pass and taking the Peak Chair and Whistler Mountain gondola down for free!
I also finally checked out the suspension bridge on the top of peak chair and was terrified!

@@riseandalpine yes, great way to spend a couple of days, just a lot of bugs so the bug spray came in clutch
I just love your intro from the gondola. You must have started really early to cover all that terrain. Always go up on July 1 . Never been able to hike flute bowl . Not open yet. Maybe next year should go in August. By the way who use the hut and where about it is located ? Keep it up , your adventures are Amazing......
The hut is located just above Russet Lake. It is managed by the spearhead huts society and can be used by hikers/mountaineers in the summer and ski tourers/splitboarders in the winter. It can be booked online.
Early/Mid August is definitely the best bet for the snow to be melted :)
