Trying Polish Food in Gdansk - Vlogmas 2023

It's our 2nd day in Gdansk and we try a lot of Polish food we've not had before incuding pierogies and beetroot soup. We also sample a few delicious cocktails and spend more time exploring the christmas market.

😂😂😂😂someone eating ginger Christmas decoration i do hope you haven't damaged your teeth 😂😂😂so sorry. In Poland we have 4 beetroot supe the one you had is beetroot clear soup and mainly you drink with dumplings or is served with tiny dumplings in it (called uszka)

You have probably bought decorative gingerbread, which does not taste good, in fact, it may not taste good at all - they are for hanging on the Christmas tree, not for eating.
Real Polish gingerbread is called "Pierniki Toruńskie" and can only be bought in the city of Toruń.
A version of these gingerbreads produced by confectionery companies can also be bought in any confectionery shop (they may also be available in Żabka).
