- It's our 2nd day in Gdansk and we try a lot of Polish food we've not had before incuding pierogies and beetroot soup. We also sample a few delicious cocktails and spend more time exploring the christmas market.

I think we should have a Shaun’s “bum” report that start of each vlog 😅. That chimney bread looked delicious an nothing wrong with fried cheese & bacon
The chimney bread was fab. Hmm, a bum report 😂
Thanks for sharing guys 👍 your day and evening looked very interesting ! 🤗
Thanks for watching! It was x
The most sacred of Christmas sausage!
Of course!
😁
😀
😂😂😂😂someone eating ginger Christmas decoration i do hope you haven't damaged your teeth 😂😂😂so sorry. In Poland we have 4 beetroot supe the one you had is beetroot clear soup and mainly you drink with dumplings or is served with tiny dumplings in it (called uszka)
No definitely didn't damage 🤣😂 lesson learnt 🤣😂
What are the other three we need to try?
You have probably bought decorative gingerbread, which does not taste good, in fact, it may not taste good at all - they are for hanging on the Christmas tree, not for eating.
Real Polish gingerbread is called "Pierniki Toruńskie" and can only be bought in the city of Toruń.
A version of these gingerbreads produced by confectionery companies can also be bought in any confectionery shop (they may also be available in Żabka).
That makes a lot of sense!
Best to avoid food markets, bad food and overpriced.
We don't mind some of them but yes they can be a bit overpriced
