As soon as Chris Jarvis took over it looked so badass. And then Michael Underwood came and just exuded anger and grit. This version looks like something I'd have done at a friend's 4th birthday party at the Jungle Gym.
@@GETENT My favourite Jungle Run soundtrack was the one that was used in the Rat's Nest and Cabinet of Chance challenges. But what I find quite odd in the Michael Underwood era of Jungle Run, in series 5 & 6, The Lost Cave had 2 different places; most of the challenges actually took place in a cave, but Tokat's Tomb and The Rat's Nest challenges actually took place in The Tomb, a location in the Jungle during the Chris Jarvis era before Michael took over....
Sam Bee You probably never knew this, but the lost cave is used for all games. The Tomb entrance is the left side, and the volcano and pendulums are on the right side. You can see it on the Jungle Run Discord server. discord.gg/dtAt5v5
Hey Dan, would you be interested in doing a written Q&A about your time on Jungle Run for a blog I'm currently writing on retro kids telly? Be interesting to hear the story of a contestant.
Well at The Temple it looked like they would do really well but sadly things seemed to go terribly wrong, they made a mistake on the LETTERS TO SHAPES Puzzle they lost too much time correcting their mistake, and then they didn't pay enough attention to detail when it came to the Butterfly Picture, resulting in them only getting as far as The Stone Monkey
First of all, this is from 1999. Not 2000. By 3rd January 2000 they were moved to the bigger studio. By the way do you have any more continuity from when this aired? I would love to upload it! Email me at queenofVHS@gmail.com and we can work out an exchange! Looking forward to hearing from you!! Thank you!

In what way did the jungle look so badass in the later series?
@@GETENT I thought that era looked way better though, especially it's soundtracks, much darker tone, etc...
Sam Bee Yeah, I prefer the later Jungle Run more.

This era of Jungle Run was almost like FUN HOUSE rather than a kids version of The Crystal Maze
Also seemed like Mario Party in comparison

When you were inside the temple did you hear that creepy music or is that just something The audience watching at home heard?
It was added on after! Haha that would have made it even worse...
@@danielburridge8091 So the only music you could hear was the 10 Second Warning
@@davidfearis7335 Yeah we just heard the sound of that gong!
Did you actually speak to the lasses who were in the costumes between shots/games?
Yeah we did! They were legends haha

Each banana is worth approximately 3 seconds. 350 ÷ 2 min = 350 ÷ 120 sec. ~ 2.9 sec.
Yikes!! The statue still stuck on the entrance!!

Good 👍
Dominick Wood kinda looks like a relative of Milo Yiannopoulos.
