This game is going to be unbelievable. I loved the first fight. At first I was like whats Yoshi doing - in round one he wasn't blocking basic moves but the player responded insanely in round two. Great music as well (as always), can't wait for this.
Regarding unneeded moves! People seldom use Yoshimitsus sword spin is a great counter at the certain distance and a techroll trap!, very usable and guaranteed with fox step!, and his fox step moves are very usable!, I hardly see people use his flip back hand!, which deals extreme damage! Noone uses monosault slayer!, because at first this moves looks weak for his long recovery!, but as a follow up to many moves it is guaranteed (unless opponent can reversal) and it deals very big damage!
@UnleashedRageCyber they're not playing just for fun, it's just that it's hard to connect juggles when you're opponent is really good. usually experts resort to basic cheap moves that are very effective in combat. They rarely use launchers since it's very risky...
at 2:56 how do you do that healing thing?? Plus the healing one while you are standing up. Can you do that w/ alisa too? like the way she does when u fight her in the scenario campaign??
I swear Lars reminds me of Jacky from Virtua Fighter. Those clothes (second half looks like the wrestler from King of Fighters; not Ralfe) and stance, but also the somersault kick he does. What exactly is his fighting style? Kickassjustu?
Infact there are 3 The Tekken 6 for the arcade that came out first, then upgraded to Tekken 6 Bloodline Rebellion. The one coming for the ps3 xbox and psp will be called Tekken 6 again.
It's 1 yr. The consoles are getting Tekken 6 BR (the title wont have br though), And it's not just Tekken Force and Story Mode, they have to add the online feature as well for regular fights and Tekken Force co-op as well, Namco games don't usually have spectacular netcode so it's best they take their time to make sure the online feature is far better than DRs. I'd rather they take their time than get a crappy version now
is this only for the psp? cuz in the interviews, harada says that t6 will come out fall 09. so i dnt understand y the psp version is gonna come out erlier =\
@UnleashedRageCyber But winning is more important than having fun. If there were more perks to having fun on a video game then there was Winning... I'd definitely agree with you.
@plutoALIEYUN Yeah, most of the "unneeded" moves are only utilized to trick the opponent (Just when you think you've seen through their fighting style, they throw in a new move to throw you off your game)
this is basically that naruto game on the gamecube, speaking of, lars is confirmed to be in the new naruto game by namco bandai somehow.....just curious, whats the soccer ball button do besides make noise?
@Pinkpapi yes i realize that, but Korean and Japanese players stand WAY above american players. I think that's because they utilize the actual gameplay more than trying to confuse their opponent.
@UnleashedRageCyber It really gets fun playing at this level of play. atleast when you're not getting juggled, all the fake outs and hardcore thought you have to put into it is really fun, especially in the moment.
nice yoshi!! but wish he would have finished B! with f3+4,(pogo)f+2 instead also can you get ff+1+2,BT 1,d+2,f1+2 B! f+3+4,(pogo) f+2 after kangeroo kick?
i rlly dont know how to perform the "ganto" move with yoshimitsu after a 5 hit combo (FD 2,2;F 1+2;B 2,1)...i see ppl doing it but i just cant handle it...pls can any1 try to explain it to me ???!!!
@yuskerr u guys don't get me right. for me winning is the main thing, i just say i like to watch some FUN play from time to time. i also know some nice juggles (christie, steve, jin) and i use them as well. what i meant at that time was that it was nice to see SUCH (see video lol) players - most of the tekken vids here are juggling masters (which i really admire). SO - i like and use juggles, but sometimes having fun doesn't hurt, right?
because the arcade version you just play arcade, the ps version is going to have tekken force, story mode, custimazation and online n it must take time to put those modes on there
Lars is alright.. I just wished that they didnt take out the story mode they had in Tekken 5.. They totally replaced it with Scenario Campaign where were forced to play as the new guy and not really anyone else. Like tekken 6 was truly based around him in a way.
Totaly agree with UnleashedRageCyber, Tekken is not about juggles, when they added that stupid Bound system it lost that...feeling which I had while playing Tekken 2...right timing and some 1-2-3 combos is all you need, but now its all about who hits first...
I do wonder why I haven't seen any PRO's do the low counter??( down+forward: timed with opponent low attack) I mean it's so easy to do and if you can read your opponent's movements you can tell if they're gonna attack low and get a few counter hits. I do this most of the time instead of blocking :3
@Pinkpapi now i am playing tekken for a longer time and i cant tell about tk6 and low parry, in tk3 it needed d+3+1 and was even harder with less reward!, i love parrying low, but i understand people who dont do it always, because it is very hard and it took very long till i parried enough to win the fight which i easily would have won with just blocking!, and going for parry it takes away some of your focus on the high and mid play, that focus can be used elsewhere!, just a matter of style
Oh great, another reason to hate Dead or Alive. It wasn't enough that the characters stumbled around like pussies after recieving 80% of attacks, but combat was always reduced to two-fold: 1: Make the opponent stumble around more or 2: He's making me stumble! Must guess my counter holds! I suppose Tekken can get irritating with the juggling mechanic, but it's a hell of a lot more fun than pissing around with stumbles and counter holds or dodging fireball spam in Street Fighter.
@UnleashedRageCyber Same. I hate it when I get stuck with someone who has won like 874385892 games and lost only 2. I like Hworarang and I know one or two juggles but they arent 50 hit juggles. I like playing people of my own skill level. its just more fun :D
@yuskerr yup fighting online just CANT and MUSTN'T be 4 fun. it's just not right. but why cant u have a good laugh when ur up against ur friend in the same room? :D thats what i mean, not that winning and a nice juggle beat up are not important and...fun :-)
@UnleashedRageCyber Yet on most online games that involve playing against other people, most don't play for the fun of it. Some don't care at all. Then there's the small percent that actually just want to have "fun". Which is a majority of the newer Tekken population that haven't done their homework. But can't blame them for being curious. =/
I know, right? I didn't really like the announcer from Tekken 6. This one in BR just sounds so much more passionate, especially when you hear "round 1...FIGHT!"
Nope. You don't joddle in Sweden. Though it is a common mistake so the makers of the game could have missed on that. Lars Alexandersson is a swedish name so the character and the map could be connected. I have no idea though, I don't even own the game
i don't get why u have to be better than them to judge them. According to this mentality no one would be able to criticize NBA, NFL, olympic players. It doesn't take a good player to notice that someone else is a good player.
I'm a new player (bought T6 last week) but I don't understand Tier lists... In one I've seen, Lars is in S and Yoshi in D and he can beat him (2 V / 2 D). Nice combats ;)
This game is going to be unbelievable. I loved the first fight. At first I was like whats Yoshi doing - in round one he wasn't blocking basic moves but the player responded insanely in round two. Great music as well (as always), can't wait for this.
Really liked this video! Loved how the 4th fight showed how awesome Yoshimitsu is!
This Tekken has a couple of options to give you the same head gear as the Default one.
As for the secondary...maybe not so much.
Impressive, they've got some real touching music in each scenario of map choice. And it's not bad ethier. Et c the first Map.
I couldn't believe it either till I seen the list of new characters and their descriptions
@Rostbite the move in 3:00 is db+2, 3(chargeable)
thanks dude! damm that looks cool, did not know you could hold the 3 down
great quality of picture ..I cant wait for it
Its awesome to finally have a swedish character in a Tekken game!
Heja Lars! Slåss för sverige!
Its out the arcade obviously but it comes out on console in 27th october
@UnleashedRageCyber they're not playing just for fun, it's just that it's hard to connect juggles when you're opponent is really good. usually experts resort to basic cheap moves that are very effective in combat. They rarely use launchers since it's very risky...
in Vegas there's one in the New New York hotel and casino.. don't remember if it was BR though
@DubZroDK i think thats a charge move of lars , you just hold the button inputs longer i think , havent played tekken 6 in ages
Tell me if the sidestepping at 0:16 looks like a dance. I'm making it a new dance move.
"The Tekken Sidestep"
at 2:56 how do you do that healing thing?? Plus the healing one while you are standing up.
Can you do that w/ alisa too? like the way she does when u fight her in the scenario campaign??
Daaaaaammnnnn
One of the best Yoshimitsu players I've ever seeen.
I swear Lars reminds me of Jacky from Virtua Fighter. Those clothes (second half looks like the wrestler from King of Fighters; not Ralfe) and stance, but also the somersault kick he does. What exactly is his fighting style? Kickassjustu?
Thumbs up if you still play tekken 1!
Good god that was one long beatdown festival Yoshimitsu got in from 50 seconds to the end of the match.
Infact there are 3 The Tekken 6 for the arcade that came out first, then upgraded to Tekken 6 Bloodline Rebellion. The one coming for the ps3 xbox and psp will be called Tekken 6 again.
Will there be a diffrence between xbox 360 and PS3? It was orginally made for the PS3 (console version)
It's 1 yr. The consoles are getting Tekken 6 BR (the title wont have br though), And it's not just Tekken Force and Story Mode, they have to add the online feature as well for regular fights and Tekken Force co-op as well, Namco games don't usually have spectacular netcode so it's best they take their time to make sure the online feature is far better than DRs. is this only for the psp?
cuz in the interviews,
harada says that t6 will come out
fall 09. so i dnt understand y the psp
version is gonna come out erlier =\
So will the Tekken 6 coming to the consoles contain everything in Bloodline Rebellion? (Lars and Alisa?)
i love it when people actually use combos and thought
dude you seem to know a lot :), how do you do that move at 3:00 with lars ?
cool!
there is some special art martial in sweden ? like russian judo?
there are two, tekken 6 came out in japan and tekken 6 bloodline rebellion is the one we are getting
@UnleashedRageCyber But winning is more important than having fun. If there were more perks to having fun on a video game then there was Winning... I'd definitely agree with you.
NICE ANIMATIONS!! SWEEEEEEEET
2 YEARS!!! oh boy i dint kno it was that long im sorry man i only thought its was just a couple months
@plutoALIEYUN Yeah, most of the "unneeded" moves are only utilized to trick the opponent (Just when you think you've seen through their fighting style, they throw in a new move to throw you off your game)
@SnoWoCkeeZ he press db + 2 then hold 3 and it charges the kick :)
At 7:10 how do you do that slash that ends the juggle?
this is basically that naruto game on the gamecube, speaking of, lars is confirmed to be in the new naruto game by namco bandai somehow.....just curious, whats the soccer ball button do besides make noise?
Vote up if A.) the music is kinda wierd for a fighting game, and B.) you like Yoshi's outfits
Its like the first Swedish character ever in a beat em up as far as I know!
Awesome to say the least
@Pinkpapi yes i realize that, but Korean and Japanese players stand WAY above american players. I think that's because they utilize the actual gameplay more than trying to confuse their opponent.
GodDAMN I enjoyed this video!!!! Lars fighting style is sic, and I enjoyed Yoshi's combos.
Can someone clarify for me please. Is there two Tekken 6 games, Tekken 6 and Tekken 6: Bloodline Rebellion, or is there only the one Tekken 6?
You will be able to choose. They are two separate game modes.
@plutoALIEYUN cuz the only needed movement is a well-timed side step, no electric slide, no dancing, moving fwd obviously tho lol
i rlly dont know how to perform the "ganto" move with yoshimitsu after a 5 hit combo (FD 2,2;F 1+2;B 2,1)...i see ppl doing it but i just cant handle it...pls can any1 try to explain it to me ???!!!
ay someone pls tell me what move lars did at 3:00, after silent entry, is it a secret move? coz its not in the command list
What's the name of the first stage I want it's music :)
because the arcade version you just play arcade, the ps version is going to have tekken force, story mode, custimazation and online n it must take time to put those modes on there
I love at 3:59 when Yoshimitsu stabs Lars through the heart and still loses the round.
cant wait for this and King of Fighters XII
Where is tekken 6 br located in the united states for arcade?Just wonderin.
both players are excellent fighters!
Ohh...I can´t wait any longer!!!
is that the same guy with the costume change or is it a different guy cause he is more agressive in that round.
Lars is alright.. I just wished that they didnt take out the story mode they had in Tekken 5.. They totally replaced it with Scenario Campaign where were forced to play as the new guy and not really anyone else. Like tekken 6 was truly based around him in a way.

@CunnerX thanks
Yoshimitsu rocks!
Can't wait for the game to be released.. >.> Where do they get all the BR vids when it's not even released yet btw? :/
keep me posted man thanks
when the hell did this lars person get put into the game!? wat did i miss.
I do wonder why I haven't seen any PRO's do the low counter??( down+forward: timed with opponent low attack) I mean it's so easy to do and if you can read your opponent's movements you can tell if they're gonna attack low and get a few counter hits. I do this most of the time instead of blocking :3
@Bernler75 He did a mission in Scandinavia and did hanky-panky with someone :-S
0:16 is a new dance I call "The Tekken Sidestep"
name of the song pls, anyone??
why is the ps version coming out so much later than the arcade
Music best for any tekken ever.
yea he does, he plays like Feng and or Dragunov
@Pinkpapi now i am playing tekken for a longer time and i cant tell about tk6 and low parry, in tk3 it needed d+3+1 and was even harder with less reward!, i love parrying low, but i understand people who dont do it always, because it is very hard and it took very long till i parried enough to win the fight which i easily would have won with just blocking!, and going for parry it takes away some of your focus on the high and mid play, that focus can be used elsewhere!, just a matter of style
Love Yoshimitsu. What the hell is that coach wheel good for? LOL
@Cyva1996 im still playing tekken 3 on ps1...
@UnleashedRageCyber Tring impossible juggles is fun.
I like the first song. I wonder if the T6 soundtrack can beat the TTT soundtrack...
yes
in fact more content will be added :D
I can;t believe Lars Alexandersson was designed by the creator of Naruto. Awesome
yoshimitsu is my favorite character ever but i liked him in tekken 5 just a lil' bit more.
this kinda reminds me of Jun's stage in Tekken 2..! well the background does
Why am i so entertained by this video? lol
That Yoshimitsu is beastin so much
I love yoshimitsu AND lars... Who to vote for?!!
Yoshimitsu for the nostalgia :3
R u seriously wow that's crazy i didn't know that thanks for info on Lars
@SDub817 im not saying it's not, just stating my opinion ;-)
@SkwerlBergamot I hope so :D

@ToxicCox lars is definitily not easy to use. he has so many wierd moves that involve his silent entry and cancellations.
The developer said there were no differences so its safe to say no difference
@UnleashedRageCyber Same. I hate it when I get stuck with someone who has won like 874385892 games and lost only 2. I like Hworarang and I know one or two juggles but they arent 50 hit juggles. I like playing people of my own skill level. its just more fun :D
@gorefinder
they'll probably take it out in TTT2, and more importantly T7
@yuskerr yup fighting online just CANT and MUSTN'T be 4 fun. it's just not right. but why cant u have a good laugh when ur up against ur friend in the same room? :D thats what i mean, not that winning and a nice juggle beat up are not important and...fun :-)

Its pretty hard to block yoshi sometimes too seeming the bastard has unblockably saword attacks
I know, right? I didn't really like the announcer from Tekken 6. This one in BR just sounds so much more passionate, especially when you hear "round 1...FIGHT!"
this version which is tekken 6 br
you just got to love the announcer in Tekken 6 br. He sounds better.
Nope. You don't joddle in Sweden. Though it is a common mistake so the makers of the game could have missed on that.
Lars Alexandersson is a swedish name so the character and the map could be connected. I have no idea though, I don't even own the game
You know what's weird? My dad's name is Lars, and my name is Alexander :O
i don't get why u have to be better than them to judge them. According to this mentality no one would be able to criticize NBA, NFL, olympic players. It doesn't take a good player to notice that someone else is a good player.
