    Just wanted to share some love man. I started playing infinite as my first Halo this past Friday and have really wanted to establish good habits and climb the ranks. I implemented your technique in this video for 45 minutes before going into ranked and my K/D went up 0.3 from the past week which has been consistent. I am really trying to focus on only pulling the trigger when I know a shot will hit and make my shots count. Have hit Platinum 1 and want to keep climbing!

      welcome to Halo!!
      I'm so glad you're enjoying the game and have found this channel to help you climb!
      I put some form of content out on a weekly basis, so let me know if you have any requests as I largely base vod reviews on viewer comments and private coaching topics that come up!

      advantage of kbm is learning flicks. controller abit weird cos of the aim assist and friction but still valid. thanks for tagging this for other viewers dude

    This is the PERFECT video. So many players either don't warm up or practice (myself included some days)
    So glad that you called this out! Great video

No nonsense, focused and jam-packed w/ useful info. Thanks! PS - gettin decent at Infinite (Gold Sarge)🤠

    I'm pretty sure that the optimal way of using the VK is 5 shots, reset, then another 3 for an 8 shot perfect. This probably will change with the meta changes tomorrow, though. Another thing is that it seems like top players will be very gentle, in a way, with their commando aim, so that don't fire at the highest possible speed; however, it gives them better accuracy.

    • @VanadamYT

      it depends on distance and such but i find i vary the shots based on my performance that day

    I typically start by chaining 1-200k points in endless br just for warmup. And then do the aim labs map that Beekle made for a few cycles at each range, do some spartan bots, do some swat to correct for what bots don't do. And ofc, drink water. Takes about a 1.5hr.

    • @VanadamYT
      @VanadamYT  Рік тому +1

      that's quite a long warm up, have you found it has significant impact on your performance? I usually warm up for 30mins

    • @RAMZAVFX
      @RAMZAVFX Рік тому

      @Vanadam oh yeah, I feel sloppy just hopping straight into a match if I don't warm up. +the frustration of being clowned on by a guy that's been playing ranked all night is not fun.

      @@VanadamYT bro so I work from home and my setup for work is basically my setup for gaming. So while I’m working I’m working on my strafe crouching and shooting. Almost 3-6 hours of just straight up practicing while I work on different projects,and I noticed that the aim just becomes more easy and fluid like I was a pro at birth😂.

    • @VanadamYT
      @VanadamYT  Рік тому

      @jeremyrichards4754 practice helps alot but make sure you spend time analysing what you're doing and if and why you miss.
      not doing so is like trying to run a lap at an athletics course and not timing it

    Secret for steam players that use controller. If you start up the game and use keyboard to "Enter" the game, or navigate menus with keyboard, the game will get confused and put MNK look sensitivity on your right stick and disable aim assist. Had this happen to me "randomly" so many times and I would be confused because my sens settings didn't change but suddenly I couldn't hit anything and would lose lots of games because of it. Hope it helps someone.

      Funny, I can't get controller to start the game for me, nor my keyboard. Always have to click it with the mouse

    • @VanadamYT
      @VanadamYT  Рік тому

      I have had a similar issue. to make sure this doesn't happen you need to go into the game settings in steam and disable the steam input for the controller. I've had instances before where I had no aim assist on controller and it sucked

    If you set up training mode to 4V4 with reveal enemy location = ON would that be a good tool to learn respawn locations?

    • @VanadamYT
      @VanadamYT  Рік тому +1

      potentially but it limits the accuracy if you cant control the rest of your team :)

    • @VanadamYT
      @VanadamYT  Рік тому +8

      if you're practising to get better, it isn't meant to be fun. it's meant to be effective. this is the work behind the scenes that leads to ranked being fun because you win. if you want to chase high scores, you could do time runs instead :) still works

      The work you put in is part of the process. The process is never fun but if you can learn to appreciate the process, it makes going thru it much better. And like Vanadam said, the outcome is whats fun 🤠

    Which is easier to use mnk or controller. Be honest.

    • @VanadamYT
      @VanadamYT  Рік тому

      controller has a much lower skill floor and both inputs have high skill ceilings for different reasons. its not a straight forward answer. if you want results play controller.

      @@VanadamYT I personally think mnk is a lot easier.I have seen noobs cracked on sniper which is a joke. And movement is ridiculous like you are warping.

    • @VanadamYT
      @VanadamYT  Рік тому

      @lawrencedanao7648 If it is easier, more pros would use it. sniper is a lot easier, but br duels are a lot harder, and because most of the game is br, you are at a significant disadvantage. for movement I find most of the time I move so quickly I get desync. this often comes as when I get assassinated by the dude infront of me
