Mine came with the toggle switch on the rear panel Dave,For uk fm or export mode.Very pleased with the radio but looking forward to software release.Thx for sharing.
As things are I very much doubt that any software will be released to the public, my guess is an updated version 1.02 will come out ready for the next batch of radios at the end of April 2023
@@m0ogy The toggle switch bypasses and overides the band & mode control ,Giving you the 40 uk fm (muppets) channels.The switch is a good quality toggle type made from metal & seems very robust.The set-up so far works very well Dave.
@@m0ogy Me too saw a ref re the software for dealers only. Probably there's too great potential for inexpert twiddlers to - twiddle! and thereby bugger the rig up totally, then the dealer gets saddled with pillocks who twiddled wot they should have left entirely alone... Many such rigs need realignment following such treatment.sxs
I would like one these in USA where they at? I like the wide coverage of 25.615 to 28.305 but also to keep 10 m 28.315 to 755 in it . But having FM portion 29.300 to 29.690 would be a plus.
That's a very tidy radio totally different to early 3900 and I would get the dealer to open it or tune it my days of cutting wires are gone to much to much shaking 🙃
