I love variegated ficus triangularis!! It is a beautiful looking plant. Thank you for the great tips!! I just bought another one that is covered in tiny figs. I’m waiting for it to start dropping leaves and figs but after several days in my home so far no issue. I want a big bushy one like yours so this one will be taking a hike outside once it warms up. Thanks for sharing your tips!!!!
I just saw this at my local garden store for first time. I love it but not the $50 price tag. Think I will wait till price drops. I have a huge variegated Benjamin ficus that loves my house. Was grown from a small 6” baby now a tree. I will definitely try the triangularis. I’m in love with it. 🇨🇦
Thank you so much for the very helpful tips. My plant started out so pretty but she has been dropping perfectly healthy leaves everyday and I was panicking. I have only had her for a week. Purchased in Columbus, Ohio and brought back home to Michigan a week ago. Your video was so encouraging. I’m about to move her near a south-facing window. There is a humidifier placed nearby and for sure as soon as the weather breaks, she will be transitioned outside. I feel hopeful again 😊.
Your ficus is so beautiful ❤️ Thank you for such a calm & informative video, I feel a lot more confident going forward in the care of my new triangularis
Thank you! I just brought home a small one today. I have other ficus varieties (fiddle, benjamina, rubber and altissima) so I'm quite familiar with leaf drop! I'm glad to hear the care for the triangularis is the same. My southeast window should serve it well.
Your fix is gorgeous!! I have a baby and it has stayed what appears to be dormant for close to a year. It’s still alive but doesn’t grow. Has only dropped a couple of leaves since it arrived by mail originally. I want mine to look like yours and I’m going to follow all of your advice.
Thank you for this!! I just picked up one of these beautiful plants from my local plant boutique 💖 I appreciate the information and your explanations 🤗
Wow your plant is beautiful!!! Mine is pretty small. It hasn't really grown for me, but it hasn't dropped any leaves. Thanks for all of the great tips 💚
Nice plant, I have 2pots of these but I failed in propagation, I didnt get how to propagate , after putting rooting hormone, it is direct planting in soil or just root it in water? Please let me know, thnx..
My balcony don't get direct morning sunlight so i kept my triangularis there but it get afternoon sun for 1 or 1½hrs, will it damage my ficus variegated
Very helpful information for me. Yes I wish I would have thought of putting mine outside this year!! Next year I will do that. I did follow your tip on putting the ZZ outside and it is huge!! Thanks for your GREAT tips💚💚💚

Exactly the tips I needed! I was so worried about the dropping leaves, but it has started to slow up after a month of having it

I love and hate this plant. I can not make it happy. I buy it and it looks good for a week and then leaves drop. It hates me.
You were too kind with your spider mite advice. I tell everyone to burn the house down and start over. LOL.
Lol I had great success dealing with spidermites and they didn't come back. I personally think they are way easier than mealy bugs haha
