Thank you!!
Thank you so much.
Thank you bro
Hello! I am a dancer with very much hypertension in my knees, sometimes it hurts if I hyperextend too much, would this help? I dance for 6-7 hours everyday would this help block the hyperextending?
Hey I have a weak knee with a bit of nerve damage after several hospital appointments and surgery would this help me to redo the muscle memory and walk normally again etc?
Allot of un answered good questions here??? I wonder too about these.
Can I play a soccer game with this taping
Thnku sir
My halp Genu recurvatum?
Plz reply
Taping is to feel that knee has touched his limit and it dosent help in any way to prevent hyperextension...way is to find the reason either strengthen the hams or relax the quads even its only limited result from concervative pt.
Can doing this taping method harm your knee if you use it during sports like Gymnatics when your doing a lot of landing
Thank you for your question. This taping technique can be helpful in jumping and landing sports such as gymnastics, it does depend on various factors such as any recent injury and the exact type of training you are doing. It will stretch out over the course of the session and sometimes needs to be reinforced halfway through. If you have had a knee injury we would recommend assessment by a physiotherapist who can give you more specific advice for your individual needs. Good luck with your gymnastics
@@sandringhamsportsphysio6524 okay thanks so much!!! I had a knee surgery and so my knee sometimes hyper extends and gets harder to straighten it.
Will this actually train us to hold this form without the tape, or is it just for use while playing sports ?
I personally wanted to buy it because I slightly hurt my knee on vaca while playing basketball I'm guessing, and it feels like its a bit highperextended. I have week knees in general so it'll be good to tape them before anytime I play to prevent hurting and speed up healing.
Does this work with hypermobility? Also would this be a good one for gymnastics as well?
why is the gap in the front for ?
How many days we should use
Can i use kinesiology tape or is sports tape/elastoplast better suited?
Nice tape
Hi Sandringham Sports Physio, my name is Josh and I am a researcher for a Discovery Channel documentary series. Do you have an email address I can contact you about asking for permission to use your video for our show? Thank you.
Can i play a game of basketball with that taping ?
The good news is yes you can play basketball with this tape on. There is always a balance of support versus mobility with this technique, and a skilled practitioner can help you to get it right. Good luck!
This one knok knee clear
What type of tape was that.. can plaster tape to d same
tape u mentioned sir kindly tell ,is it kinesiology tape?
Guy the KT tape I use is $12 per 20 strips. What's this, like 8 strips alone on one knee? I have to do this every day for work... no chance.
Hi Arnold - Rigid Tape is used in the demonstration which is generally much cheaper than KT.
Ace sports tape! 13$ for a 4 pack, rolls last me a decent while. Also don’t take the tape off daily, only replace it when needed. However I will say the ace tape is less comfy and doesn’t contour to curves as well, so sometimes the nicer tape is worth it
Is there a product (knee brace etc) that would achieve the same effect?
If you search up, how to prevented a hyper extended knee, a lot of knee braces will appear. Look at the reviews and choose the one you like the best.
what name of that tape pls??
What kind of taping is this?
Open basket I get, though if they are still doing any activities then they may pull it loose quickly.
And the cross tapes arent even attaching to the anchors? Your pre measured tapes are too short. What’s the point of the anchors if you arent even anchored to them.
Last layer of tape is laid on top loosely… lay the tape flat as it lays. Don’t force it to try to make it line up nicely or it will be another loose tape loosing it’s purpose.
This is a very loose demonstration of the taping. The idea is right but the execution is terrible. Just FYI for those watching.
Just wear a knee brace
I wouldn't wear one while playing volleyball, tape is thin so I can put pads over it and its less visible and eye catching
Has anyone played basketball the same after coming back from this injury ?
Just got it two weeks ago I’m going to make sure I come back . Just going to trust the process
Not basketball but football, I still play the same but my knee is weaker and easier to hyperextend and I get small hyperextensions while playing football, it worries me and scares me that maybe I will hyperextend it A LOT since it’s weak AF
I tore my LCL from this injury. I had surgery(in which was more painful than the actual injury itself), went through therapy, wore a brace for about 6 months and eventually I was WAY more explosive off of that knee than I was before the injury. Downside, my tendinitis was much more intense and down the line once I stopped playing competitively and worked out casually my knee became weak and I felt one step away from a hyperextension even when I’m just walking.
mate this isn't sport specific, that is not nearly enough taping for high contact athletes.
Dam Emma got kingles
Next time y'all make a video, please try to find a person who is a different colour than the tape. My vision is low, so the tape literally seems invisible. For goodness sake, the tape is even nearly the same shade as the walls. So I see movement going on there, but cannot discern what the movement eventually leads to. Sheesh
It wraps around the bottom of the knee without closing at the front. Same over the top of the knee. Then it crosses over like an x at the back twice and we close it off and secure it by putting the tape again and the bottom and top of knee without closing at front. All this time your knee being at 20° angle.
Thanks for the video.
