Google TV- BIG NEW Live Channels Features

Google continues to improve its Live TV offerings on its Google TV Streaming platform. The latest 2023 year end update at the time of this recording now offers 14 more channels on top of the 800 plus total channels that are available. There are also some new features for the live TV tab that we take a look at in this video. Please check out the video for more details.

I like it and appreciate the evolution of features. I find myself using their guide more than the YTTV guide. I might be hoping for too much but Sling recently added the ability to record their FreeStream channels. I'd be excited if Google added that ability for their free GoogleTV channels. Perhaps adding those to their YTTV service would be the way to do that, not sure, but I hope they do it.

Good idea there! The guide for Google TV does look more robust than it does with UA-cam TV. Yes indeed! We see that sling now offers 10 hours of cloud DVR for the free stream. It would be nice to see it with the Google TV channels. It just may be a matter of a little time before we see it across more free streaming apps.
